Shane Lowry is the leading Irish contender after round one of the Irish Open at The K Club.
The 2009 champion signed for a three-under round of 69, leaving him three shots off clubhouse leader Nacho Elvira.
Rory McIlroy is two further back on one-under, alongside Brooks Koepka. The Masters champion voiced frustration when his group was put on the clock midway through the round.
Seamus Power has since moved to two-under in the afternoon groups.
