Tell me something good. Hit another one. Hey team, worldwide tailor made MG5 wedge is now live. We are going to put it to the test with MG4 to see how much more spin you’re going to get out of these brand new wedges. I’m here with Matt Boie at the Kingdom. He’s going to call out some spin numbers. Let’s get into it. [Music] What do we hear that? 75. Nope. 84. Sorry. Oh, normalized. Okay, last one. All right, let’s find out what our average spin was for those three shots. Don’t worry, I go to the table. Your average spin rate for that was 10,600. Okay, your first shot was well above. The second two were right around the 10,000 threshold. 10,000? Yeah. It’s just a lack of talent. That’s all it is. You never know if it picked it up right. Okay. 10,000 to beat. So, now we got the MG5, new groove tech, new wedge, noticeably different sound. Wow. The other thing we’re going to end up seeing uh on this, I I would guess, is that your launch angle is going to be lower. Got lower, which is going to be the other byproduct of new grooves, right? You’re going to get more spin and you’re going to get a more controllable launch angle. As your grooves wear, you lose friction with the face. The ball slides up, your launch angle goes up, you lose spin, and that’s where you start to see inconsistencies in your wedge distances. I I love seeing a wedge come out strong and then like stopping. Yeah, it’s perfect. So, you right bang on the carry number adjusted 88. It’s all right. Kind of where we’ve been sitting. 8590. Tell me something good. Hit another one. That thing felt like it the ball stuck on the face. All right. So, if we take a look at the averages, you’re sitting at uh 11,000 average for MG5. MG4 sits at 106 and your launch angle on that is going to be about a degree and a half different. Lower lower with MG5 with MG5. There you have it, guys. That’s what this video is all about to educate you on how important it is, even after one season of play to get your wedges refreshed. MG5 gave me about 600, 500 RPMs more spin and lower launch. That’s just more control dayto-day. Head to a Worldwide Golf retail location or worldwidegolf.com to lay your hands on the brand new MG5.
