🚫 Golf Myths Busted! You DO NOT need to shift right or hang back to hit your driver far. The best golfers in the world prove it every week on the PGA Tour. Weight Distribution in golf is a huge factor in determining distance and consistency, just not how you may have been told it does…

✅ Bryson DeChambeau may launch it high, but his weight still moves forward.
✅ Scottie Scheffler swings level and efficient — weight forward, not back.
✅ Charles Howell III, one of the most accurate drivers in golf, led the Players Championship in strokes gained off the tee with an angle of attack near ZERO… and still hit it long & straight.

👉 When you shift right and try to “swing up too much,” you create:
⚠️ Smother hooks (face shut, path left)
⚠️ Pull slices (steep arc, glancing strike)
⚠️ Loss of distance & accuracy due to contact low on the face

💡 The truth: The best driver swings keep the weight moving forward, deliver the club level, and create effortless speed, distance, and accuracy.

🎯 Master this move and stop chasing swing myths — it’s time to hit every fairway like the pros!

It’s a pure myth that in order to hit the driver well, you have to shift to the right. The best players in the game don’t hold their weight back and swing up a ton. Bryson might hit up a ton, his weight’s still moving forward. Rory hits up a lot, his weight’s still moving forward. Scotty Sheffller swings very level, his weight’s moving forward a lot. Charles Howell, one of the most accurate and longest guys I’ve ever actually seen hit a golf ball. The last players championship he played in, he was number one in strokes gained off the tee, he hit every T- shot 290 to 310 and hit them all right down the middle. His angle of attack is very close to zero. You do not have to shift to the right to swing up. The more up we swing, the more left we’re swinging on an arc, and the more you’re going to either hit a smother pull hook with a shut face, or you’re going to hit more pull slices, and you’re going to struggle hitting your driver far.
