Just started golfing for about a week, open to any and all advice/things to point out. I’ve also got a lesson in a few days that I can bring any things to work on to.
You’ll get a lot of advice from a lot of different people. The biggest thing I would say, is focus on one thing at a time. It’s really easy to get overwhelmed by all the different aspects of a swing.
Enjoy golfing and good luck!

Ok. So very nice. O love seeing students go through a method to get the correct set up and fundamentals. You got a good amount correct all by yourself.
Just go into the lesson and show him exactly that swing. You need work, everyone does at the start. But you have a very good base to work with. You have done basic fundamentals there and good balance and a good tempo. There has to be some kind of previous sports experience in the same general motion (batting, tennis, pitching)
After the lesson. I’d be expected to see your swing on an improved lag and snapping of power at the appropriate place, and better foot work.

A good player can be made from what I see here!
