Tiger Woods’ Sun Day Red debuts a fall and winter collection with merino, cashmere and new Pioneer footwear colorways.
Tiger Woods has always been at his most dangerous on Sundays, clad in the iconic red that became his armor. Now, through Sun Day Red, the apparel brand he co-owns with TaylorMade, that spirit extends into the colder months with a fall and winter collection that launches Sept. 4.
The new line was built around a simple idea: weather shouldn’t dictate whether or how golfers play. “I’ve played in every condition imaginable, from Scottish wind to Midwest cold,” Woods said. “What I’ve learned is that comfort isn’t luxury; it can be a competitive advantage. When you’re not thinking about the elements, you’re thinking about your next shot.”

That philosophy runs through the collection. Merino wool crews, hoodies and quarter-zips provide natural temperature regulation for days when conditions shift hour by hour. Cashmere blend tees, available in short and long sleeve, deliver lightweight warmth in a fabric that feels more like a luxury sweater than a base layer. For colder rounds, insulated vests keep the body’s core warm without restricting the swing, while packable outer layers can be stowed in a golf bag until the weather turns.
Caje Moye, Sun Day Red’s senior creative director, said the goal was not simply to protect golfers from fall and winter but to help them embrace the season. “Every layer, every detail is designed to keep you focused on what matters most—your game,” he said.
The performance details like moisture-wicking fabrics, strategic ventilation zones and weather-resistant shells are balanced by the brand’s design aesthetic. This is gear meant to handle Scottish wind or New England frost, but it’s also polished enough for a post-round dinner. It’s another step in Sun Day Red’s effort to bridge performance apparel with lifestyle versatility.
To round out the launch, the company is also introducing two new colorways in its Pioneer footwear line. The Pioneer Cypress blends white and tan, while the Pioneer Magnolia pairs gray and navy. Both are engineered to maintain a stable platform underfoot, the kind of traction and balance that makes year-round golf possible.
By leaning into colder-weather golf, Sun Day Red is signaling its intent to be more than a summer uniform. It’s positioning itself as a brand for players who see the changing seasons not as obstacles but as opportunities to test themselves in new ways.
