Golf simulator brand Awesome Golf will be part of the Golf Foundation fan zone at next week’s BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club, giving kids and families the opportunity to enjoy fun interactive challenges through its golf simulator software.

In addition to the highly competitive DP World Tour’s flagship tournament, which this year has attracted the majority of the European Ryder Cup team, the BMW PGA, which takes place from September 8-14, is renowned for its fun vibe and interactive fan zone, where this year young golfers will be able to try Awesome Golf on the Golf Foundation stand.

The Golf Foundation is the official charity of the BMW PGA Championship, and the event hosts DP World Tour continue to show their support for the charity’s groundbreaking mental wellbeing work in schools, golf clubs and communities.

On the Golf Foundation’s stand this year, Awesome Golf will be running a ‘Closest to The Pin’ Challenge for anyone to enter, as well as providing demos of the endless entertainment available through its market-leading simulator software.

“This is such a great event to be part of and we are delighted that Awesome Golf has been chosen to provide the activity for The Golf Foundation’s stand,” commented Gavin Hamer, founder of Awesome Golf. “One of the frustrations many children and shorter hitters experience is their shot not being tracked by the technology in play, but as our system was designed with my son in mind, it is designed to do exactly that.”

The tournament will kick off with the Celebrity Pro-Am on Wednesday, September 10, with sports stars Andy Murray, Lando Norris and Gareth Bale among those confirmed to take part in the traditional curtain raiser to the prestigious Rolex Series event.
