Trump Golf Tracker Suspends Updates, Citing Concerns Over Accuracy and Health Speculation
Donald Trump’s golf game has been a hot topic for years, and one website made it their mission to track every single round. But now, did Trumpgolftoday.com says it’s pressing pause, accusing the Trump administration of covering up details about his health by tweaking the president’s public schedule. Trump cover something up? No way. The site says it won’t log a golf trip unless there’s a confirmed sighting. No more relying just on schedules. By their math, Trump’s golf trips have already cost taxpayers more than $77 million with the first term estimated at $151 million. So, is this about golf or something bigger? Either way, the tracker says uh it’s not teeing up new updates anytime soon. What do you think? Is Trump covering something up?
A popular website that has monitored Donald Trump’s golf outings throughout his presidency has announced it will no longer rely solely on the president’s published schedule to track his time on the course.
DidTrumpGolfToday.com, which has logged Trump’s golfing habits daily, posted a statement at the top of its homepage accusing the administration of manipulating information to obscure the president’s health status.
“Until further notice, golf days will not be updated unless a confirmed sighting of Trump on the golf course occurs,” the statement read. “The Trump administration is actively shaping the narrative to conceal Trump’s declining health, including altering his public schedule to discourage questions from the media.”
There is no evidence to support claims of health cover-ups. The announcement followed a weekend filled with speculation about the president’s condition. Trump appeared to dismiss the rumors by golfing on Saturday, but photos from that outing fueled further conspiracy theories online.
The site initially counted the Saturday trip, updating Trump’s estimated taxpayer-funded golf tab to $78.4 million. It has since reversed that update, now reporting the total at $77 million.
During his first term alone, Trump’s golf outings reportedly cost taxpayers about $151.5 million. Those estimates are based on a 2019 Government Accountability Office report, which found that Trump’s early trips to Mar-a-Lago averaged more than $3.3 million each in 2017 dollars—a figure likely higher today due to inflation.
