[Music] yo yo yo H here with average dude slow pitch today we’re bringing you something just a little bit different still bat reviews but what we’re actually doing is we went ahead and found some bats that are currently on sale in a couple different places a lot cheaper than they probably should be a lot all these bats started out as main lines anywhere from that 250 to 299 mark four of these so the worth GR this eastn smack the eastn done deal and then the Bradley Jones Mike and Chaos can all be found at headbanger sports I think our current sale right now through a rep reach out it’s $100 shipped so that’s $100 with free shipping and then for the eastn pop I can’t remember exactly where I saw it but I’ve been seeing these for sub 150 so what we’re really out here to do is I know a lot of people they want bats that can be BEP bats league bats team bats um G I mean possibly Gamers that don’t cost them a lot of money whatever might be these are all ues SA stamped so we’re going to go ahead we’ll test them all just so you can see where they’re at stay consistent with all the other videos and then we’ll throw a I don’t know 40 to 50 swings on each one if some test High maybe a few more on those and then just kind of throw the top swings out there for you so you can see how each of these perform if any of these would be worthy of being a gamer or if they’re at least good enough that you can use them for BP purposes team bats all that kind of stuff so we’re out here at opaka in New Mexico we’re going to go ahead like I said get those swings on there we’re going to try to beat the wind this is windy season for New Mexico we’re currently looking at uh I don’t know if you know if you can really see that but it’s a slight breeze kind of in towards the first base Dugout so nothing too crazy later in the day I think we get almost 50 mph gusts so we’re definitely out here trying to beat those as well so let’s get these on the tester get some swings come back and see if we can’t find some uh cheaper kind of budget type bats for you all right let’s go a and throw our five models right here on real quick we’ll make this as quick as possible up first the eastn pop again this is that one piece model make sure we’re not touching the walls there giving us a little over 250 that kind of makes sense yeah this is fireflex Tech but that’s similar on the one piece model as con of to the Tantrums anyways next East in the done deal to Z and this one’s closer to 2 80 maybe slightly higher so little more wiggle room there we’ll see kind of how that performs initially and then how many swings I kind of need to break that one in and then the last east of the group we’ve got the eastn smack this is also a 1275 loaded just like the done deals we talked about in the intro get to stop rolling there we go to zero that one was too far stand by there’s zero and this one’s 260 almost 270 so little less on the compression there from the other 1275 that done deal but gives us some wiggle room between the two of those the worth Grand just at or barely over 250 so another one that should be pretty much game ready and last but not least we got Bradley Jones’s Mike in chaos and again the purpose of all these is to find you bats that kind of save you some money whether you want to use them for BP league bats team bats whatever it might be or we’ll may find out some of these are good enough to be kind of your next gamer as well all of these can be found first off 275 with the chaos so we’ll swing that one as well see where that breaks in but all these can be found headbangersports outcom if you reach out to us we can get you a pretty sweet deal on them I think right now pretty much all of these are $100 shipped the only one we don’t carry is that eastn pop but if you can’t find it online for a good price again budget kind of pricing get a hold of us we’ve got some connects for you let’s go a and see all these perform all right so here we go we’re get some swings on it not everyone’s going to swing all of them we’re just going to kind of do this one a little bit different we’re going to have the V running the whole time so you can basically see how these things are performing from swing number one and then as far as the order goes we’ll still call them out so you know which bats we’re swinging but we’re basically starting from that highest compression working our way down so we’re starting with the East and done started just a little under 300 you can see basically like I said with the V how is this thing performing straight out of the wrapper and again our goal here is to see kind of where these bats are ranking wise where they’re worth being whether it’s just hey maybe it’s a league bat you bring out for the whole team or if it’s something that you’re like oh man I can pick up a handful of these as a gamer even if maybe the compression is not going to last a long time but they compete with the other bats and now they’re only 100 bucks a pop and at the end of this video which you’ll see is I’m going to throw the specs for each bat up there as well as we’ll throw kind of an average for the vlo since again we’re not going to show you every single swing and then we those final compressions wor so at least you have a chart you can pause the video look at all that you don’t have to kind of remember everything that you see 99 mph 98 mph 87 mph is that 87 87 comes off good like sound good 92 mph I mean what we s wind’s doing a little bit blowing that way you can see slight curve up there but again for a bat that can cost you 100 bucks straight out of the wrapper just under 275 or just under 300 compression we’re at 99 or 98 and then 92 with tons of launch angle off the fence 90 mph there’s a little bit that forgiveness that was lower on the barrel towards the hands 84 mph 96 mph definitely feels good it’s a little soft but in my opinion a lot of the eastn barrels between the fireflex Tantrums feel soft so you’re still getting that traditional feel this is a fireflex model not a tantra model just so you know uh but as far as handle wise so far it feels on the stiffer side we’ll throw the actual specs like we said up at the end of the video 100 m hour 88 mph what was that 98 8 88 88 88 105 mph I mean 105 these bats might show us too that the price points may not matter with some of these bats nowadays these Tech it’s a lot of personal preference so would I game this one so far no again I don’t like the softer feel I like that real crack sound which is a little surprising why I like the Lou as much as I do cuz they have a little bit different sound but 105 we’re less than 20 swings in with a bat that was nearly 300 75 mph felt good yeah there you go one hopped it yeah uh missiles yeah this one how many swings around this 30 30 at most and it started at 300 impression and I’m one hopping to what three that’s 340 down the line 340 down the line so that there got closer to 350 yeah one hopp 350 after for 52 years old 105 mph there’s the swing right there yeah 96 mph yeah that’s a good one to end on so you saw again we’re doing the live V with our normal swing so we’re not going to have a separate section for that but east and done deal you saw between everybody pretty darn forgiving between all of us we’re at like 50 swings on this so not a lot we’ll get through the rest of them get that final compression so you can see where everything’s at if that’s something you care about and then kind of go from there final thoughts show you all that data all right that done deal was a 1275 loaded fireflex barrel this is a 1275 loaded all I have to look up I forgot to look up beforehand I don’t think it’s a fireflex barrel doesn’t say fireflex on it if it is though we’re expecting pretty similar performance it would make sense why this was also near that 275 Mark I’m not mistaken so again we’re starting kind of highest to lowest compression wise here 99 mph oh man okay well that’s a good first swing all right 7 9 mph 95 mph that was a little bit of a miss too I caught that one high didn’t extend 104 mph all right all right 83 mph yeah too high a little bit of a Miss but 8 is not too bad for hitting that high off of a Miss on a bat with less than 10 swings 83 mph 95 mph 83 mph 100 mph yeah so this doesn’t feel a soft a barrel as the done deal which makes me think it might be a slightly different Tech again I’ll look it up I’ll have all that info for you by the final thoughts plus that final graphic but the 1275 is in my opinion kind of that best barrel length for the East obviously some of the one pieces are 12 1 12 but 12 and 12 1275 usually makes the best model but not as stiff as most of the EAS barrels which I actually really like 79 mph I mean you figure League nah you’re tearing it up well and if you give that if your whole team swinging it you’ll break it in quick by far we don’t even know where compression sit right now right 84 mph 94 mph yeah it’s got an outstanding Sweet Spot compression is always going to be the interesting part at least for me I know a lot of people don’t care about it but if this thing’s going to hold it’s it’s great I mean that Ball’s flying off that tree in no time not over outside of the the smack spot you lose a little bit quite a bit whatever but again if it’s taking a while to break all the way in kind of like the older East models just for the Tantrum this is going to be a bat that people are going to love 103 mph yeah another I mean we’re two bats in and so far both have greatly exceeded what I was expecting so let’s keep it rolling smack another great one we’ll talk about them all more in depth in the final thoughts we’re going to move on next to the worth Grand the grand here Full O endload right and then it’s XXL Full O endload full ounz end load 28 Oz I 89 mph pry 8 81 mph I’m just say 89 m per hour what sound good 89 yeah has a great sound man and then it’s got a pretty decent Siz Sweet Spot also pretty sweet looking bat by the way oh yeah 81 mph oh we ain’t pulling it back nah still good 93 mph he was on the 88 mph knuckle ball knuckle ball 84 mph oh this feels good man 91 m per hour look all in all for for the price point that this bat’s going to go for I mean if I had to buy like like a budget bat for a team I definitely wouldn’t consider this money that was wasted because it’s it’s good has a great sound it’s a little bit soft but it’s not a it’s I mean for what you’re going to pay excellent bat excellent look I like it for the price point that it’s at and to be honest I know all right bat number four Bradley badman Jones’s Mike and Chaos 12.75 Barrel see what it’s all about but so far all these these bats were swinging none of them have been disappointing none of them sitting there going I wouldn’t purchase them I mean I bought all these myself to swing for this so I might honestly hold on to some of these the BP as I get some of these Gamers down but obviously with these videos we do I get so much BP with bats that I may not have time to swing all these but let’s keep it going and see how this chaoses 94 mph 98 m hour 83 mph that pretty well struck [Music] good 94 mph Barrel wise on the first couple it does feel more like the done deal slightly softer Barrel not quite as stiff if you want to call it that as that eastn smack or the worth Grand but speed wise I mean obviously it’s coming off fine 991 mph and it’s got a perfectly good sweet spot I mean that one’s way up there 84 mph huh 99 mph 85 mph 86 mph that was a Miss lower for sure and we got at and bounced over center field that one felt lower different feel I mean maybe not super low but that might actually The Sweet Spot might be low of Center slightly cuz that one felt stiffer than the rest of the barrel which I’d expect on the Miss but with how it traveled that could be the spot 97 mph nice oh man yeah so The Sweet Spot is slightly low of the K I thought The Sweet Spot would have been centered up it’s somewhere kind of that ey in the K it felt like but that ball I mean that came off great and cleared our center field batter ey by a mile okay not liter by mile by a little bit 77 mph back in the wind yeah right no I mean Bradley Jones chaos for those of you guys that like to cut the ball I feel like this bat is very easy to control for being just shy of a 13-in barrel I like it feels good 104 m per hour 99 mph well nothing nothing new to say another one that’s just just continue to exceed expectations so let’s roll over to our final one the eastn pop compression them all final thoughts all right the last of our quote unquote budget bats eastn pop this one is the most expensive of the bunch I believe like I said I’ve been seing online for right around 150 I could be wrong head over to eastn site we don’t carry this at Headbangers but if you need a rep or somebody to help you grab one uh they might have it at smash I’m not sure but I can get you in touch with somebody budy help you guys out but let’s see how the one piece pop does 94 mph 97 mph 86 mph I mean it’s punching through the wind pretty good the wind’s not kicking up too too bad right now we’re getting occasional gusts but I mean it’s not it’s not the one piece tantrum straight out of the rapper or even the canal but again you can’t find really either of those so our goal here is to see if this price point is worth getting what you get out of this and so we’ll keep going and see what we got 95 mph pretty good I mean yeah good sound Sweet Spot less than 20 swings between who swung so far we’re off the top of the batter’s eye there 95 I think that launch angle that’s what I just said 97 mph nice 97 knuckle ball 98 mph a 98 knuckle ball back to back 92 mph 88 mph yeah okay so that one that’s the first I cut pretty low you can hear the sound change performance dies off a little bit but we’re still high 80s I mean there’s probably a line out to left field don’t get me wrong but at least you’re getting the feedback you want as long as you put the ball in the right place 103 mph 97 mph yeah I mean okay last one pop complete again they’ve all performed far better than I kind of anticipated coming into it I assumed either some along lines of not a great Sweet Spot maybe forgiving or good sweet spot not forgiving poorly weighted bad sound whatever it might be but I think 103 was the top speed kind of up the middle we weren’t really shooting for those line drives to measure that out just more of how does this perform overall but little bit of lift easy no kind of uh poor feedback on the hands no sting anything like that but let’s just go ahead and throw all the bats on the compression tester see where it’s at and I’ll let kind of these guys talk real quick on a very fast just rundown of what everyone thought about him for the final thoughts all right now that we’ve got swings complete here on our again we’ll call it the budget bat series let’s go ahead and see where they all test at I know it may not matter to some people but just so you know if you can buy a bat that could again be kind of a team bat in a league maybe where they test you’ll know so first up the eastn dun all these have rid at about 50 swings we’re thrown in the shade afterwards just so we weren’t thrown them straight on the tester from swings it’s only about 70 out here but it can still be warm enough to kind of heat those barrels up yep and the done deal still sitting at 275 so again started just under three came down about 25 so nice to see there the mike in chaos Bradley Jones’s bat this one if I remember correctly started at 275 let that sit at zero and we’re still sitting to 55 maybe 260 so again no issues there the worth Grand I believe this was also 275 maybe a little bit higher my memory is just not that good that sit at zero 260 so far no issues the east in smack oh let that St keep that off the wall there there it goes 260 well we’re one bat away from Perfection here as far as testing goes the eastn pop the one piece and 245 maybe 250 so they all pass we’ll talk a little more about them in the final thoughts all right and we’re complete here with again what we’re calling our kind of budget series bats as you saw like I talked about in the beginning we went live kind of with the V from the start just so you can see how these performed basically from swing one through kind of all the swings you probably noticed we didn’t have everybody swing each of the bats simply because one we’re up against the elements here it’s going to start getting real windy you see you might as well see the trees back there what not but you’ll see some gust probably while we’re talking so we just want to get these one for you let you know kind of can you what you should do as far as are these worth purchasing at that $100 price point which is the four that they’ve got there and then again with this East pop you’ll have to head over to Easton I think for this one I think the’re only one selling it there might be a couple their sites but this is closer I think 130 to 150 so with that being said I figure rather than just hearing from me on these ones since we had everyone swing them we’ll kind of get some insight on them and so Junior swung the mike in chaos and the worth Grand so I’ll just let him kind of talk about how he felt about those um and how he kind of Compares that to he’s kind of a big D Marini fan Louisville fan and I know he’s swung proton as well so those three three being his Gamers he can kind of talk about how they performed in in relation to that and kind of what he would use them for so I mean when it comes to the Grand we got a 12 and 1 12 in Barrel here I am a big fan of the 12in barrels 12 and 1/2 in barrels this one is great I mean let’s not let the price kind of discourage anybody from from what you’re actually getting it’s a very good bat um same thing with the uh the chaos okay the miking chaos they are excellent bats this is a 12 and 3/4 in Barrel also very controllable for those guys that like to cut the ball these bats are excellent I mean don’t let the price discourage you okay I I do I am a big fan of the D Marinis and the protons and and I have a lis personally I have a proton as well I also have the vanilla gorillas but you know those those uh those bats are going to reach into your pockets for those guys that want a bat that you know that that that are on a budget do not sleep on these bats they are good you know they they they perform well um only a handful of swings and and they’re staying they’re all staying within compression for those guys that have to worry about that stuff they’re great okay I got nothing bad to say about them so good bats in my opinion sweet yeah and like you kind of brought a bear again the reason price point wise really doesn’t make a difference all these bats did start out as kind of that 250 to 300 range bats they’ve just for whatever reason dropped down discounted whether it was the way they were marketed what not so all let PK time to talk about them and then kind of wrap up his final thoughts but PK swung the East done and then the eastn smack again you saw everyone swing the pops so we’ll talk about that last but all let him kind of talk to how those compare for him I know he wasn’t a big or hasn’t been a big eastn fan so getting the east in his hand and letting him see how they perform was kind of the the goal here okay so um like hendo said I’m not not an e fan I don’t usually swing them but with these two bats and another one that I swung that were e the 12 and 3/4 Barrel um this one is the the dun is the 27 oce this is the smack is 262 your feedback is immediate for those uh individuals that don’t have a lot of time to BP these bats they do give you that feedback right away um they are good bats all around especially for the price um you square them up anything can happen but again did just I I I would not go against or I wouldn’t wait on these if you want a bat you need a bat you’re on a budget like uh junior said pick these bats up take a little bit of time with them get used to them and they will give you that feedback that you desire so that’s how I feel about that yeah and so kind of with that being said there’s a lot of reasons why maybe you’d go to that price point one you saw what the performance can be so if you’re somebody who swings a lot and you’re going to catch the sweet spot a lot the sweet spots are all super consistent on all of them the ball comes off great they may not be quite as forgiving as some of the higher end models if you want to call let’s say the protons the Louisville de Marines whatever it might be um so you are kind of sacrificing a little bit of that so if you’re somebody who’s going to bring it out let’s say for your league team you want to buy a bat or inter murals I know for us on the military base inter murals is starting and they’ve wanted some bats you can go out you can buy three of these in different sizes a 25 a 26 get one that’s got a bigger endload Longer barrels whatever it is buy three of them right at 300 bucks for all of them and now as guys swing them more and more and more one they’ve all passed compression but compression we all know doesn’t really matter in most leagues most inter murals things like that so they’re only going to get hotter they’ll still work for the people who catch the sweet spot and then they’re still pretty forgiving they’re not again as forgiving as maybe like a Louis but as we all know you wouldn’t want to take a Louisville out you want to take a proton and Axe and have a whole team swinging those and convince an inter miral league team wck team whatever to spend 300 plus dollars on a bat that a is not even Theirs to keep and who knows when it’s going to break type of thing so these are going to be some durable options if you’re somebody who likes to swing let’s say Louisville the new APC D Marines again they don’t a ton of swings is not what they’re meant for axe uh any companies where you know the bats are going to fail somewhat quickly so at times it can be the Tantrums Alphas whatever it is there’s a whole slew of different bats out there grab any of these and let these be your BP bat are they going to perform exactly the same give exact same feedback no but you can still get the BP you need work on your backside work on your middle cutting the ball whatever it is you want to work on and now if something happens to them you do break them which I’m willing to bet these last for a while based on where the numbers are at you’ve got something that only cost you 100 bucks plus it’s not on no return for $1 these are returnable still with a full year warranty so for I know 100% sure with the chaos the grand the done deal and the smack through Headbangers you order that whether you order straight from the website or again reach out to us or any other Headbangers rep $100 shipped that’s includes the 12 Monon warranty you’ll break it you swap it out for another bat do I know what they’re swapping them out warranty wise for no but at that point you’re still getting two bats for for 100 bucks you’re just not going to beat that especially as you saw kind of performance- wise so um and then decent pop just real quick again it felt good like the rest of them this is by no means a tantrum it’s not the new resi anything like that but The Sweet Spot It’s Hot 103 I think was the top speed we got up to with it little softer Barrel than those ones um relatively good feedback for a uh one piece it is a 12 and 1/2 in Barrel so just make know you’re not going to have a ton of space on that sweet spot but again any of these will work if you had to make the decision of like hey I really want let’s say you were looking for a proton for instance I really want a proton I don’t really have the money for it what am I losing going from that to one of these the mile per hour difference as you saw with like the averages and I’m going to throw that up here at the end of the video you’re not losing enough to be like I need to go find a way to drop an extra $200 when I don’t have it drop the 100 use one of these save money do whatever you want to do and then you can go ahead and put in order for whatever bad it is whether it’s a proton Louisville whatever it might be as well so again hopefully this was informant for you hopefully you enjoyed it we wanted to get some options out there rather than just always demoing bats where now you’ve got to sit there and throw $250 $300 whatever it is out to get a new bat so you decide you want to pick one of these up or if this drives you towards hey I want to pick up just one of the higher-end ones these really aren’t for me just reach out to us you can drop a comment in the video head over to Aver slow pitch.com you got the contact us page where you can shoot me a text and I will get back to you or any of the social medias or if you just want to order yourself use the link tree in the description of the video it’s got affiliate links discount codes for a ton of sites any help you might need let me know and I’ll do my my best to get you kind of the best pricing fastest shipping so again hopefully enjoyed it thanks to PK and Junior for coming out helping us put this kind of video together for you guys have a great day thanks for supporting the channel thanks guys later [Music]

  1. Really nice to see AVG bats and how to compare. I think you guys are onto something with the photo at the end with the stats. It would be really cool to see something like that on your main page with all the bats you use. You could even branch out a little more and do a video or two on what Utrip bat hits 52/300 the best if you don't have an ASA bat for REC leagues or dual stamps even.
A showdown with "budget" vs high end would be cool to see as well or at least side by side with last years model or something. I just see a lot of questions in the comments about how they compare and being able to just hit the website or watch one video to have it answered would be easy.

  2. I needed a BP back up bat about a month ago. I got the Easton Smack with the discount code. The total price with shipping was $97.40. The bat originally was a $300 bat. It's not as good as my Genesis APG4 or Bedlam, but not that far behind. It was a great investment for me and I feel confident that if I had to pull it out in a game it will perform.

  3. I've seen the 2022 Fireflex (the blue one with the red knob) for 79.99 online. Thoughts on that bat?

  4. Great video was looking for some bats for my union softball team, definitely gonna have to buy a couple!

  5. Good video! Instead of chasing the newest and "best" bats just grab an affordable option. I'd be interested to see you pick up some older used 220 bats to see how they compare to the newer stuff since they're still viable options for most leagues that don't do compression testing.

  6. Hey guys I just got into softball. I need a bat that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. But what’s the compression stand for? Lol

  7. Now sure where the hell these prices are coming from. You would think almost a year later they would have gone down in price more. Not up. 😂
