England Golf has named Dame Denise Lewis DBE as its newest ambassador, joining forces to inspire the next generation of golfers and spearhead the launch of a bold new initiative – Game Changers.

An Olympic gold medallist, acclaimed broadcaster, and passionate advocate for health and wellbeing, Dame Denise brings a wealth of experience and influence to the role. As ambassador, she will help drive greater visibility, diversity, and engagement across the game, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for England Golf.

Game Changers forms part of England Golf’s 2025–2030 strategic vision. The campaign will unite inspiring figures from sport, media and beyond, all dedicated to championing golf as a safe, inclusive, sustainable, and life-enhancing sport. Its mission is to challenge outdated perceptions and spotlight golf’s physical, mental, and social benefits.

“I’m thrilled to be joining England Golf as an Ambassador,” said Dame Denise Lewis. “Golf has so much to offer—from its positive impact on wellbeing to its power to bring people together. I’m excited to help open the sport up to new audiences and share the message that golf really is a game for everyone.”

Dame Denise’s dedication to sport, health, and social impact mirrors England Golf’s mission to make the game more accessible, welcoming, and relevant to people from all backgrounds.

England Golf Chief Executive Officer, Jeremy Tomlinson, added:
“We are honoured to welcome Dame Denise as an Ambassador.
