Let’s give it let’s give a rundown and then we’ll jump right into it. All right. So, today’s course is going to be a nine-hole executive course. The nine hole here. This angle is not that good. A little bit of a different course today. There was a lot of traffic going to our usual course at Queenstown. So, we’re going to be playing this executive course. Uh, as I was saying, it’s a 9-hole course. It’s going to be playing 2,182 yards. We’re going to play from the tips. Uh, it’s a course that consists of par threes and par fours. So, I’m trying to do an audio check, but for some reason my phone is being weird. Do we have audio? Yes, we should have audio, right? You guys hear me? Okay. Everything sounds normal. Okay. Yeah, there it is. All right, we’re good. All right. So, I said we’re going to play nine holes today. 2,182 yards, par threes and par fours. It’s a fun little executive track. I haven’t played it in a while. So, without further ado, let’s get after it. That was a good one. Okay. That was a absolute bullet. Should have went up the right side there. Oh, they got some new GPS screens in these cars. They look nice. Yeah, this would have played 353 yard par4 to start off. Service looks good. Yeah. Don’t think these trees should mess with us too much. How’d that smack sound, General? Huh, buddy? Was it smacking? Little Santa face, huh? Should [Applause] be right there. Bang. Yeah, good ball. Going to leave us with about 60 yards in from the T- box. 60 yards and the wind is behind. I almost feel like we hit this like a little nippy shot here. Oh, I chunked it. Chunk pulled it a little bit. We’re up there and putting, but just pulled it left with the chunk. Otherwise, we would have had a real close look. I couldn’t even tell you the last time I hit a putt here. So, I have no idea what to expect. I definitely did not jump on to the putting green today or anything like that. Yeah, the chunky 58 worked out all right. We’re dancing. This looks like a pretty gnarly hill. Going to get some speed. Definitely a break. I probably want to go above this disease a little bit. I don’t think I made a ball mark, but I’ll do my civic duty and fix one for the course. You know what? I want some good karma. I’ll fix two. All right, here we go. I say this is probably around 18 ft. You can probably put tree of me between me and the pin here. I got a little bit of fungus among us here. I don’t know what’s going to happen when the ball gets to that part, but it is pretty much in the brake line I’m looking to take here. It’s going to be pretty snappy off that hill. Wind’s pushing against me a little bit. Too low. Dang, that’s a hard putt, man. You got to get that thing all the way at the top. All right, let’s see if we could save the par here. Gave that one a little bit too much gas. Little uphill, right to left brake. Go, go, go. Got to hit it, bud. Uh, got our speed read. Take a little bogue there on one. And what sucks about that second that that first putt is I knew what it was going to do, but I couldn’t stop it from doing it. Oh, you can’t be putting it, too. I mean, that’s on the money. All right. Uh, second hole here is going to be 132 yard par three. Um, looks like we have a little wind on our backside as well here. This tripod camera looks all crooked. Hold on. Yeah, 132. This the old local MUN when you got when I got beach traffic keeping me from the home course because it was going to take me an hour to drive 20 a usual 20 minute drive. So glad to have it here for when we need it. It is an executive course, so you’re not going to see any par um fives here, but quite a few long par fours that definitely give you like a, you know, big course feel. I guess that is quite literally the the definition of an executive course, you know, not quite a par three, not quite a championship. It’s a lot of wind here. Lot of wind here. It’s going to help a lot, too. I’m trying to Make sure we have a good swing here. Oh, scoopy and pulled it. All right. Should be far left side of the green. Definitely not where you want to be. Scoop that a little bit. kind of got away with the contact this smidge. Let’s go see what we got. We’re eventually going to get stuck up on a little pace here coming up soon. And the miss is definitely left here, that’s for sure. These kids are still kind of in front of me up there on the left, but I think I can All right, should be good. A little bit left of the green up there. He’s short obviously too. There’s no way I got it there into the wind. Finding that sweet spot on the driver though and it feels good. That was a little bit of a little bit of an aggressive play there with the with the 50°ree or not 50° 48 degree. No, what a gap wedge is. No, it is a 50°ree. Pitching wedge is 48. I think I do used a 54 there. It would have been perfect. Came out a little softer. It came out a little bit hot. Left side of the pin. All right, we got to get real swifty now. We got to get some hands, man. We got to get some hands going. I think I should be just over the left side here. Probably be real close to the green. I’m wondering if I should almost putt it. Probably won’t be able to because a little bit too much cabbage, a little lies in my way. This that tricky range for me. That was actually pretty decent all things considered. Touchy feely. Means a lot. All right, plus 33 here. Playing pretty smooth. My short game’s a little shaky right now. Chips are a little bit clunky. Putts are a little bit trying to figure out the read. So, we’re going to go bogey bogey bogey. Nice putt on that last hole to save the bogey and really getting a bigger number. Next hole is going to be 100 yard par4. I’m sorry, par three. That’d be a funny par4. And then after that, we’re going to have 175 yard par three. And then we’ll go 310, 101, 303, 345. So I I do I I will say if there’s one thing about this course that I do like, I feel like you get a a simpler approach to learning golf and playing golf. It’s definitely been something that has come up on a lot of different courses uh with like a lot of different discussions about like these types of facilities being more available. Now, where I’m at is a county course, so they do a lot of stuff with the county. So you always will see families and kids out here on this course, but then you also see good golfers because like playing a fun little executive course that you know gives you the feel of a full-time course without all the drama and usually faster tea time. It’s not too bad. I will say it’s got to be a course you walk cuz you know you go you pay a cart fee and after the cart fee and whatever it’s freaking it’s like 35 bucks for nine holes which usually isn’t that much different. Like I’m pretty sure Queenstown you probably pay like 45 bucks for nine holes and it’s definitely $10 worth more worth it. So I would say with the car it’s a little bit expensive but most of the people who play this course walk if I I actually almost walked with my tripod but I was like you know what that sounds a little miserable but I almost did it. All right. So far so good. We’re trying to do today’s goal was to come out and play nine holes and hit decent enough where we could record like a nine hole in 90 second video. So I’d say so far we’re on pace for that. Nice little course. You see, I will say there’s usually about one time a year I do like to come out and play this track where we’re at. And not even the executive course, but their actual course. In the fall, they do like a army, air force, navy, like armed forces air show out of the airport here. And I’ve never seen so many cool planes flying in so many cool formations before until that. Pays Valley. Dude, those courses are so sick over there. Holy crap. It’s a pretty big backup still. These guys are like just chipping onto the green. Someone let these guys chip on the green. This guy is behind me. I could Every time I look over, he’s like looking in front of me. Probably thinks it’s me with the camera. It ain’t me, baby. I promise you. Yeah, we’re not so much. Well, you know what’s funny is you’re always close to the water when you live in the area of Maryland that I live in. But this is more of just like a in the airspace of this airport. They do do some sort of like water plane show. My buddies went to it this past year. I’ve definitely seen that around here, too, where they have like they’re almost like trick planes, dude. It’s actually pretty nuts. Heard they do some pretty crazy stuff. All right, you can see up there, guys. Pins tucked behind that bunker. Fairly straightforward, though. Nothing we can’t handle. So yeah, I don’t know. There’s a little wind behind and I have like 105 from back there. So we’ll just hit like a smooth gap and hopefully watch it get, you know, watch it stick up there. It helps me see I like to aim right or do some weird stuff with my club and my back swing. So, it’s kind of like self-eing. I use it to send it to some like pros that do lessons online and they can then use the footage and help me out and then yeah, then once a blue moon I get a good shot or a a funny moment of to put out there. That’s kind of cool. Yeah, it’s, you know, unique little thing. Hope you’re having a great weekend and enjoying yourself. This weather’s been great, huh? Sunday’s not a time not to go out and play golf, right? That’s right. It’s I’ve been out here all week because of this weather. It’s been too good. We really got a lot of guys up there. I know. I was thinking maybe that’s like the high schoolers or so, you know, maybe St. Michaels or Eastern. That’s interesting. I I try to play in the afternoons sometimes when I can. And uh I found out that if if if you if you get out at one or two o’clocks, pretty good. Okay. But then after two when they get out Yeah. the school packs it up a little bit. They they just they send them out. There’s always ours. Yep. Yep. That’s right. All right. Well, the driver has been an absolute weapon today, so we’re going to keep leaning in on the driver. The only thing that makes me a little bit curious here is I’m slightly concerned about some danger with the driver. Let me go back and look at the GPS here, Chad. I got to I got to make a strategy on this one. We just had our blowup hole on our last hole. So, if I’m trying to play better golf and, you know, improve, I need to make sure that I am making good decisions after having a bad hole. And as much as I’ve been confident in my driver, it’s on the wrong hole. There we go. Oh, I would drive possibly. Well, this I’m a little bit closer from the car. Go with a five iron. Hit this one like 180 with some wind behind it down the fairway. give us a nice club in. I could go for it, but I pace a play, you know. I’m not going to wait for the glean to the glean the green to clear and then hopefully hit something horrible. So, let’s play a nice little five iron out. This one’s playing about 300. Kind of looking to hit a decent piece here. Nothing crazy. swinging like crap right now. Yikes. All right. Well, we’re safe. Good thing I did that. That’ll be a good one to watch back. I think now what’s happening is after a couple bad swings, I enter my trust issue phase where I try to control my outcome rather than trust what I’ve drilled. So, still still kind of chipping off of just some feels and some game knowledge, you know. So many planes have been taken off from that airport. I mean, it is a nice day to fly, I’d imagine. Beautiful weather, clear skies. All right, these boys are off. All right. Well, now we got nothing but heart here. This is This is all hard. We got 190 elevated green over some water. swing has gone a little shaky here over the past few holes, but the time is now. All right. I think I just hit that either decently or way too far. I couldn’t tell. It came out good. Hit it well. There’s a lot of wind behind it. So, it was zipping in there. I don’t know if I saw it land on the green and roll off the back or I don’t know if I saw it go over the green and roll onto like this hill back there. We’ll find out. Coming at you live down here for the Channel 5 News. There is a lot of wind on that ball, so I can see how that would be screaming across there. Is there really a lot of wind? You’re saying there’s a lot of wind in the mic? That’s interesting. I got the cover on and everything and that it was on the opposite side of the wind. Maybe it was just a uh moment there. I don’t know. Is the audio sound okay today? Low viewership on the golf stream today, but I’ll just chalk that up to the holiday. Is something scuffed? and I haven’t realized it yet and nobody’s telling me. Seemed like everything was good. Graphic, audio, video, everything seemed all right. Yep. All right. I will say if there’s one thing about this setup that’s not quite where I want it to be yet, it’s the audio. I think I’m going to buy a might buy like a microphone that attaches to the actual camera. Feel like that’s what all the YouTubers are using and the quality is really good. But there’s been a small hiss on these microphones that I think only happens when you connect it via the cable. Well, if you connect them wirelessly, I mean, they sound clear as day. Long par putt here. See what we’re made of. I was going to catch that hill, but kind of putted into that wind gust, which didn’t help us. Oh, that was such a good putt, too. End over end straight. I guess if it was better, it would have went in, eh? A nice roll, though, at the end of the day. It is windy as hell though out here. I was hoping the like I said the little cover I had on would fix that. Got to do the solstice one day, dude. That would be a great golf stream. Oh yeah, this is one of these new touchcreens in the golf cart that has a camera in it. It’s kind of weird. Love that. Oh, working. Oh, yeah. I meant to talk golf plans with the golf community this week. Tomorrow we’re going to be doing a round over at Queenstown at our like normal afternoon time. So, we’re going to be going to be doing like a similar like probably like a 3:40 tea time, but we’re going to get to the course early and we’re going to do some drills. Uh planning on getting another lesson going soon as well, some short game and some putting. And then uh looking at possibly doing an 18hole stream on Wednesday with some buddies from the channel, Jake coming down and and Pip. And then Thursday, Thursday might be a special day, but I don’t want to speak on it too much yet because I don’t know exactly if we’re going to be able to do it or not. We’re waiting to hear back from somebody, but Thursday we might be going over to a country club and playing on stream with a ex collegiate. He played on Coastal Carolina with Dustin Johnson and he’s like a pro golfer. I think he’s like a plus four handicap or something crazy. So that could be that could be cool. That stream probably get our butts kicked, but it’ll be real cool. That’s for sure. All right. In the wind a little bit. Probably like 105. Little gap wedge. Come back. Right. Come back. Right. It’s almost like the same length as a forward tea challenge at Queenstown. I think All right, here they are in the tea box. In the tea box. Not a bad little swing. Put a little smack on it. Little waggle. Dude, I think the uh speaking of some cool golf stuff, we keep the golf channel going for the years to come. Allegedly, the rumor mill of this place is supposed to be installing lights on this course. Now, I don’t know when, I don’t know where, but allegedly they’re supposed to be doing lights. And what they’re also apparently doing is a double-decker driving range here. So, if you guys tuned in early, you saw me on that driving range. That’s like something newer they put in over the past like year or so. And uh apparently it’s supposed to be like a double-decker driving range, like Topgolf kind of style. It seems like a lot of courses are they don’t want to lose money to Top Golf, so they’ve started just putting those types of places in at their own courses. It’s a big trend here, dude. Night golf on stream. That would be rad. That would be rad. Top Golf is good if you’re like traveling somewhere and you don’t want to bring your clubs, but you still want to get the golf fix. Go get a couple drinks, couple friends, hit up Top Golf. It’s definitely great for that. Outside of that, I, you know, not really my thing to do like all the time. I think I’ve only been once, maybe twice, maybe twice. I feel bad for this kid. The pressure is mounting. He’s waiting for the green to clear. And there’s two people waiting for him to hit his t-shot. He keeps looking back. You know he’s nervous. I should go up there and be like on camera be like if you hit the fairway I’ll give you 20 bucks. That would probably be some good golf stream content. What do we think about some more candid golf stream content? Stuff like that. Walking up to random people asking them to do challenges or play like a two-hole match or something. I feel like that would be pretty good content. Wait, they got mini putt bars? Actually, I’ve been to one in DC. That shit’s serious, though. That’s like a nightclub. That’s like a mini a mini putt nightclub. This place in DC that I went to, that was crazy. Yeah, I was I was drinking a do bud. You called me. I went I got here and I said, “You know what? I’m going to get a beer.” And I said, “You know what? Nah, it’s Monday. You don’t need a beer.” And then I said, “You know what? Get a nice tea.” And then I saw the Mountain Dew. And then I got the Mountain Dew. I’m kind of regret it though. It didn’t taste that good at the end. Like it was good at the first couple sips. I know that all too well, Kevin, with the eagle. Had a eagle pup, but you end up with a par. Hey, dude, pars are good. It’s all you can do, right? Oh yeah, you ain’t lying, Kine. 77. Actually, I usually drink diet soda. Not going to lie. I know it’s not better for you, per se, the diet soda, but if I do have a soda, I tend to drink a diet. You have a good brain, bud. Mine’s a little busted, I guess. All right. Well, now we wait a little bit more. Probably got about another 5 to 7 minutes until we we hit, dude. Right. Yeah. All the sucralose and all and all the all the the zerocalorie sweeteners. Yeah. That’s what my grandma always says. My grandma’s like, she’s she’s like 85 and it’s like she’ll just like she likes to drink regular soda and it’s like everyone’s like, “Oh, why don’t you drink a diet soda?” She says, “Well, if I’m going to get cancer from it either way, I might as well drink the real thing.” I said, “That’s that’s knowledge right there, Grandma. That’s that’s that’s that’s not easy to hit two those two clubs back to back well like that to get a to get a eagle putt. Good stuff, dude. I haven’t had an eagle putt in a while. sunk a birdie on Saturday when I played. It was a nice birdie and I shot that 83 last Friday and then I shot a 87 on Saturday, 86 on Saturday. So, I’ve been having some I’ve been playing some pretty decent golf as of lately. It’s kind of funny like I come out here during the week and I play nine and I practice and I don’t play that well, but I’m noticing is that when I show up to play 18 on the weekend or show up to play 18 when I need to, I’m playing better. You know, because you’re not going to play good golf every time you play. I mean, I better I I figured that out a while ago. But I am noticing the more that I play, I’m learning how to manage the bad and the good a little bit better. Oh, hell yeah. Okay, I’m about to go bouldering. Yeah, sometimes I do miss walking. It It actually is about that time of the year where maybe I’ll build out my cart and start walking while streaming again. It It is about that time of the year. It’s not so hot anymore. I’m not going to have a heat stroke from walking. That’s where golf really excels as a full circle game is when you walk because it’s like therapy and competition and like exercise all bundled into one, you know, kind of thing. All right, what do I do here? I could I could drive this green, but then I have to wait for these guys to completely finish the hole. Let me see what’s going on. Maybe I’ll play something different and I won’t drive the green. I don’t know. It’s a pretty It’s a pretty obtainable green. Little bit of an intimidating T-shot, but not that bad. They’re like pretty much all the way down there. Yeah, sure. I’ll hit a fivewood to keep up with the pace of play so nobody has to sit around and wait into the wind a little bit too here. There sadly went OB. So, that’s not going to help our case at all. Well, that was pretty poor. Uh I it would have been originally came on but then I decided to not go for it. So I used a lesser club that wouldn’t reach them and then I hit it really bad. So there’s that. There is that brother. Then I hit it really bad again, too. This club’s retired for a little bit. This club has entered the retire for the rest of the round. You know, Kan, you’re not going to hit anybody if you hit it like that, too, bud. Which is always a something you got to think about. Well, I hit it well. I’ve been I’ve been trying to convince Kine to get into golf for so long now, but he won’t do it. And his brother plays. It’s [ __ ] perfect. Your brother plays. You might as well play, too. You guys can hang out. I hit it well, but that was that snappy snappy little pull that has been happening lately. Bro, I’ve been telling K ever since he told me his brother plays, I’m like, “Oh, dude, you got to play. You’re trolling.” That’s another hard shot, chat. I’m not I’m not making my life easy at all today. I’m glad I came out here and decided to play some whack [ __ ] Not even at my home court. So, I paid 35 bucks to just play whack [ __ ] You know what I’m saying, boys? It’s all right. It’s been a beautiful day out here with chat. If I had to guess, these kids are all part of a high school team from the area. Whether it’s one of the private schools, whether it’s the public schools, something like that, if I had to guess. So, they’re probably just out walking, having a blast, taking forever to play golf. You know, I will say they definitely have held up the course a little bit today, but I ain’t going to be caring about it on Labor Day. You know, I be like those guys that called on me, right? Yeah, actually pretty good from all the way back here. All right. Well, let’s have a little chat about this week. Wait for these guys to finish and then we’ll go play whole nine. And on a high note hopefully. Great roll. There he is. That’s how I’ve been putting lately. My game today has been subpar. Dude, you know, like cuz these guys, they don’t even know it, but they’re in the best they’re in the best part of life right now. You know, maybe a couple years older, but it’s like you got some high school players. They’re out here with their whole team on a Monday on Labor Day walking the course five, six deep. I think the one kid’s wearing flip flops. You know, these guys are essentially doing what a lot of us try to do every weekend, you know, and they don’t even realize they’re just living in the they’re just living in the slot right now, you know? Oh, I was just say it’s a community course, so it’s probably just like a local high school team or something like that that came out with a bunch of them and they’re walking. Dude, I saw this video the other day. It was so funny. It’s actually hilarious. My my fiance is in her stage right now of sending golf memes to me that she finds on Instagram. It’s a great stage because she sends some hilarious videos. See if I can find this one. I saw that was so funny. You guys can even see this. Believe things have been different. I’ gone probe. I’d be making millions of dollars living in a big old mansion somewhere. Soaking up a hot tub. He literally just says when you start golfing as an adult, but think about how good you would have been if you started as a kid. I actually think that’s such a funny video. One thing I noticed about golf YouTube streams until I can and it’s I noticed this on Twitch as well. It’s like it’s it’s riding the es and flows of pacing with the content. I do feel like the most universal thing that would make a golf stream better, but it’s impossible to actually get would be a shot tracer. So, what’s next? Scorecard. So, you don’t have to guess what score it is or what hole it is. That’s coming real soon. I already have the graphic. I just got to use chat GPT to make the HTML chat script so I can edit the hole and the scores from chat or a mod can. So, I think that’ll be a nice little upgrade that’s going to be coming to the stream real soon. We’re going to have a nice scorecard. Had a custom made. It looks great. That’ll be a good one. What else? I don’t really know if there’s anything else besides like Tracer Scorecard. What else do you guys as a viewer think that you would like to see on a Golf IRL stream that would help it? Yeah, that stuff with Bryson that he’s doing is pretty is pretty funny. I need to think of like something like that that I could do. Those challenges are definitely good from like a content side to like help grow a channel or a brand. You can’t beat those. Yeah, I was thinking about that. Maybe like a like a little weather meter, like a little compass with like a with like a arrow. Yeah, I mean that could definitely be something that could be beneficial. Golfers of the chat, how much do we drink when we play? Like, what’s the what’s the perfect amount? I’m quickly realizing that I’m a pre-round drinker. Like I don’t need to drink that much during the round, but pre-round I need to have a little a little something some dude. Same. If I would have done a hole in one challenge over the house, yeah, I probably would have broken the house or in the neighborhood I live in, I would have I would have like hit it way too hard over my house and put it through my neighbor’s back window or something, right? We only have like a third of an acre, so we don’t have like a lot of space around us, too. So, if you miss your house, you’re definitely hitting somebody else’s house, you know? I’m high and dry on the course. What’s the perfect amount of weed to smoke before you start finding yourself getting a little bit tipsy turfy? I noticed that even as somebody who can handle weed pretty good, when I start smoking on the course, I don’t know what’s going to happen. It’s either going to be good or it’s going to be bad. Drinking seems to be like I could put put a few back before it starts like really affecting my game, you know? Yeah, that’s actually a good idea, Al, is getting a list of commands that are like beneficial to the overall experience. So, if anybody comes in and they have questions, that could be a really good idea. So, starting to set up certain stuff would be like pretty good. All right, we got one hole left. We got a little bit of a weight here, but I won’t get you on here. I said I won’t get you on here, but if you want to play the last one to save some time, you could tee off with me if you want. Okay. Yeah. If you’re in a if you’re not in a rush though, no worries. But just figured I know we’re pretty backed up, so we really were. Yeah, a little bit. At least it’s a not a hot day out. So, favorite club’s an interesting question that’s been changing. I I I recently took a lesson that has really helped my swing come a long way and evolve the game. But since I’ve gotten this new swing going, I’m still learning how to hit certain clubs. So, like I love my driver right now. If you if you were to take my last three rounds, my driver’s been one of my favorite and better clubs. Before that, it was my 3-wood, but now this new swing, I can’t swing a 3-wood to save my life. So, my 3-wood is uh falling down the rank a little bit. This girl’s funny. She said to her dad, she’s like, “All right, Dad, if I make this $10.” Smart, smart girl there. Where’ this other group go? Oh, they’re all the way up there on the left. Dang, he bombed that shot. I think I can hit Perfect. As I was saying there about the old driver. And I’m really noticing I’m having the best amount with that swing is with my driver. So, I got to figure out however it is I’m swinging my driver.
