As we have wrapped up the 2025 FedEx Cup season, we dive into the gear trends from this year’s PGA Tour winners. This week, we look at which driver models won the most last season.

Tour pros always have access to the latest and greatest equipment, but they aren’t always itching to upgrade from what’s been working well for them.

Never before has that been more evident than this past season on the PGA Tour. While it should come as no surprise that Titleist, the No. 1 driver brand on the PGA Tour for the last seven seasons, picked up the most wins with 12 titles among 12 different players, an interesting trend emerged among the winners.

Of the five companies whose drivers claimed PGA Tour victories during the 2025 FedEx Cup season, only Titleist and Srixon collected the majority of their wins with their latest models. (And both of those manufacturers also picked up wins with previous driver models, including two that were approximatelt five years old!) Both Callaway and TaylorMade led their win counts with 2024 models, and Ping’s 2023/2024 models had just as many wins as its latest line.

Tommy Fleetwood of England plays his shot from the 13th tee during the final round of the TOUR Championship 2025 at East Lake Golf Club on August 24, 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Why Tour usage isn’t indicative of a great driver | Fully Equipped

This is nothing new at golf’s highest levels, where pros are notoriously picky and don’t like to change from what they’ve grown used to. Does that mean new drivers are inferior to older ones? Absolutely not. In fact, there’s a strong argument to be made that the driver market has never been as good as it is today.

But as this list will show you, 2024’s drivers were really good, too, and many of the best players in the world opted to simply keep those clubs instead of going through a lengthy vetting process. For others, it just comes down to trust.

Regardless, the list of winning 2025 drivers also showcases a focus on forgiveness and spin retention, rather than low spin and speed, a trend that has continued over the last several years.

Keep reading below for the list of the winningest drivers during the 2025 FedEx Cup season.

1. Titleist GT (10 wins, 10 players, 2 models)

Titleist's 2025 winning PGA Tour drivers.
(From L to R) Aldrich Potgieter’s GT2, Russell Henley’s GT3, Justin Thomas’ GT2 and J.J. Spaun’s GT3.

Titleist and Jack Hirsh/GOLF

Titleist’s GT2 and GT3 drivers were the winningest drivers of 2025, with both models racking up five wins with five different players. The five champs with each model were the most for a single driver in 2025. J.J. Spaun used a GT3 at the U.S. Open, where his clutch tee shot onto the green of the 71st helped set up a go-ahead birdie to secure his first major title.

Like Spaun, two other players, Kurt Kitayama and Garrick Higgo, used GT drivers without an endorsement contract in their respective victories.

The GT drivers were released in late 2024, and with Titleist’s two-year product cycles, they should continue to rack up PGA Tour victories into 2026.

GT drivers weren’t Titleist’s only winners this season. While Ludvig Aberg used a GT2 for the first three rounds of the Genesis Invitational (and we credited his win to that driver), he switched on Sunday to a previous-generation TSR2. The even older TSi2 and TSi3 drivers, originally released in 2020, each collected a win this past season, too.

GT2 — Speed & Forgiveness Across The Face
For players who don’t always find the center of the face and need the stability of a high-MOI driver without sacrificing speed.
Speed & Forgiveness Across The Face
Delivering impressive distance from any impact point, GT2 extracts maximum performance through forgiving design. Get the stability and added confidence of a high-MOI driver without sacrificing speed.
Seamless Thermoform Crown
A reimagined ultra-lightweight design, born from a new Proprietary Matrix Polymer. The tunable acoustic properties of this unique composite allow Titleist engineers to realize new material gains while maintaining our signature sound and feel. All wrapped in a clean look that inspires total confidence.
Split Mass Construction
GT2 delivers a powerful balance of forgiveness and speed thanks to a breakthrough in internal weighting. Mass is shifted to the back of the clubhead to increase MOI for better stability, while also pushing weight low and forward to optimize speed and spin. The result is a driver that frees you to swing with confidence.

Titleist GT3 Custom Driver

Titleist GT3 Custom Driver

GT3 – Speed-Tuned Distance & Control
GT3 offers Titleist’s boldest combination of power and personalization. With a speed-tuned design that allows you to precisely match performance to your most frequent contact location, you can make your biggest drives even bigger while taking total control over flight and shaping.
For players with a relatively consistent impact location, GT3 offers a precisely adjustable CG Track to max out distance and directional control.
A breakthrough in internal weighting unlocks longer drives and enhanced directional control in GT3. The Adjustable CG Track now sits closer to the face for more dynamic CG control, while additional discretionary mass is pushed to the back of the club to maintain optimal stability through impact.
Advanced Aerodynamics
GT3 features a new raised tail contour that represents a dramatic shift in driver aerodynamics. Previously impossible to execute due to design constraints, this advanced shaping results in a driver that swings faster while still providing optimal CG control.

2. TaylorMade Qi10 (8 wins, 2 players)

Scottie Scheffler's and Rory McIlroy's drivers.

Johnny Wunder/GOLF and Jack Hirsh/GOLF

The winningest driver model of 2025 was played by only two PGA Tour champions this year, but those two players won eight times and three of the four major titles.

Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy’s continued usage of the TaylorMade Qi10 has made it one of the winningest driver models in recent memory. With McIlroy completing the career Grand Slam this season and Scheffler winning two majors, it’s safe to say their decision to stick with 2024 driver models was validated.

TaylorMade’s current lineup, the Qi35, wasn’t to be shutout as rookie Karl Villips won with a Qi35 LS in Puerto Rico and Tommy Fleetwood took home the Tour Championship and FedEx Cup with a Qi35 core model.

Straka won twice with the Triple Diamond Max, including the Truist Championship, while Rose got his first win in over two years after switching to the same Triple Diamond Max head the week of the FedEx St. Jude.

Callaway’s 2025 driver, the Elyte, got a win in the bag of Min Woo Lee at the Texas Children’s Houston Open.

Ping has been a constant presence in driver counts over the last couple years, and its new G440 is no exception.

While Brian Campbell won twice with the G440 LST, Andrew Novak and Chris Gotterup both used the 440 LST in their victories without endorsement deals.

PING G440 LST Custom Driver

PING G440 LST Custom Driver

The G440 driver family (MAX, LST, SFT) is optimized to deliver more ball speed through multiple advancements, including PING’s deepest CG in a driver to date and a shallower, thinner face, while continuing to ensure the game-changing forgiveness expected from a PING driver. The G440 LST (Low Spin) design appeals to players with faster swing speeds, providing lower spin and more control in 9° and 10.5° lofts with the three-position back weight.
HIGHLY FORGIVING
Lighter head weight allows for heavier back weight.
FASTER FACE
Shallow, thinner, face increases ball speed for more distance, higher launch.
SOUND DESIGN
New shaping, carbon crown and internal ribs produce muted impact experience.
FREE-HOSEL DESIGN
Saves weight to lower CG, increase forgiveness. Allows for more heel-side face flexing for consistent ball speed across face.

T3. Ping G430 (4 wins, 3 players, 2 models)

Ben Griffin’s G430 Max 10K driver.

Jack Hirsh/GOLF

Ping had five different models record a victory in 2025, including four from the G430 family of drivers.

Technically, Ben Griffin’s G430 Max 10K is still in production, but the G430 LST drivers played by Harris English and Keegan Bradley are both Ping’s previous generation models, yet they still earn wins on the PGA Tour.

Griffin and Bradley earned their wins without endorsement deals from Ping.

PING G430 Max 10K Custom Driver

PING G430 Max 10K Custom Driver

The G430 MAX 10K is PING’s straightest and highest MOI driver to date, eclipsing the 10,000 g-cm2 combined moment of inertia threshold first surpassed by the G400 MAX five years earlier.
FIXED BACK WEIGHT
The fixed back weight allows for the record-setting MOI as it drives mass down and back to increase forgiveness and optimize the center of gravity position.
LARGER HEAD PROFILE
PING’s biggest head profile to date maximizes the USGA-allowable heel-toe and front-back dimensions while staying within the 460cc volume limit. This eye-pleasing shape helps square the golfer to the target and inspires the confidence to hit longer, straighter tee shots.
