Ladies vs Custom-Fit Driver is a common discussion brought up in 2nd Swing Tour Van fittings with women golfers. More often than not after women golfers go through a 2nd Swing club fitting, the determination is that a custom-fit driver that features “standard” or “men’s” golf equipment is the better fit for the player.

I think because what we’ve seen so often is is there’s enough women golfers out there that actually swing to a point where they need more more strength, more stiffness in a in a driver or in a golf clubs uh than the lady stuff offers. So yeah, quite often women get told like, “Hey, you’re a female. Let’s let’s put you in women’s set.” But uh my good buddy Blaine, who’s a master fitter, he he actually refers to it as light flex. And I think that’s a really a really good point. um that there’s no reason why we should be using a gender when it comes to swinging a golf club.

  1. The golf ball does know. Women and seniors don’t have the fast twitch muscles that men do. While I’d agree, there are some women and seniors that should still be using regular flex, a vast majority of women should be using women’s.

  2. Pro women would think that way, not women golfers who are high handicapper at your typical muni. They’d prefer teeing at the ladies/senior tees.
