U.S. President Donald Trump has kept a low profile over the last few days despite an unusually busy schedule earlier in the month.

It is typical for U.S. presidents to take a summer vacation in August during the annual Congressional recess. In total, the president has made 15 trips to his golf course in Virginia, including Saturday, and one weekend trip to his golf course in Scotland this summer, which is a longer stint away than his first term, leading to speculation online about his health following his diagnosis announcement.

Yet, President Trump, whom the White House has frequently touted as the “most accessible” president in the nation’s history, has still attended 26 public appearances in the summer months.

Among Trump’s August presidential appearances was a three-plus-hour-long Cabinet meeting Tuesday, where he commented on issues ranging from pressing world conflicts to Taylor Swift’s engagement.

The following three days, the president had no major public appearances on his agenda before spending his Labor Day holiday weekend in the nation’s capital with his family, during which a press pool spotted him golfing with his grandchildren, including avid golfer, Kai Trump, 18, and Spencer Trump, 12.

Trump was spotted wearing a classic uniform of his, including a white polo, black pants and a “Make America Great Again” red hat while golfing at his golf club in Virginia, alongside Kai and Spencer, on Saturday.

The day before, he did an hour-long interview with the right-wing media outlet, the Daily Caller, with its White House correspondent Reagan Reese describing the president as “very much alive” via social media ahead of the discussion.

Trump’s lack of public appearances in recent weeks has sparked mounting speculation online about the 79-year-old president’s health following weeks of rumors about his well-being after concerning images emerged of his bruised limbs and swollen ankles.

Shortly after, the White House revealed that the president was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, which has caused swelling in his leg, while chalking up his bruises to “minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin,” according to Trump’s physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella, who has described the president as “remaining in excellent health.”

Trump spent stints of time at his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey, during the summer of his first term. However, his summer vacation during his second term has been longer, CNN reports.
