I play one of the BEST Golf Courses in America 🇺🇸 (Whistling Straits)

special one today. And I don’t say that lightly. We’re here in the USA at Whistling Straits. [Music] The course that just keeps giving. [Music] That was awesome. That’ll be really good. Oh, I love these vibes. [Music] Oh, it’s unbelievable. Tip your hat, sir. Tip your hat. What a day. This golf course, from everything I’ve seen and everything you’re about to see today in this video, is spectacular. It’s hosted three PJ Championships, a Ryder Cup, and the Seniors PGA. You’ve had BJ Singh win here, Martin Kimmer, Jason Day, uh, USA kind of. I think they won the Ryder Cup here. I’m not too sure. We could ask Nick. Now, you remember Nick, OG fans of the channel will know that Nick navigated me around TPC sawrass. Always. Uh, actually did it twice. The first one came out on the channel. The second time, uh, still a bit of a sore subject. We somehow lost the footage, which I know you and me were both very devastated about because I just want to get clarification. I did birdie the 17th, right? Birdied 17th. Yes. Thank you. But that footage will never be seen. Nick Cadd’s here in the summer and then Caddy’s at Sawrass in the winter. So I mean this guy is just he has not steered me wrong once. And today we’re not going to do that at all, are we? No. I’m going to try my best to get you around this golf course, my friend. I think uh maybe close to the same number of loops out here as I have at Sawrass. Is that right? I think it’s pretty equal. So we’ll see if I can get you around here in the the shots a loted that we’re trying to hit today. Well, we normally obviously I’m trying to break 75 always. Okay. Now, this golf course I know is very very tough. This is a difficult golf course. There’s about five or six different tea boxes. The black T’s, which Nick’s told me that almost nobody tees off, is 100 yards that way on the back of the putting green. This tea box, let me show you this. This is where they teed off for the 2004 PJ Championship, 2010 PJ Championship and also the 2015. The Rider Cup Tox is actually one further up. If you remember Shane Lowry and Bryson Dambo drove the green from there. Let’s let’s you know what? Let’s just have a fantastic day here at Whistling Straits. Big stick. Big stick on number one here. Yes, sir. It’s already out. This is I’m excited. I’m giddy. We’ve had some nice food. We’ve been treated like royalty here at Whistling Straits. Um, let’s just rip it up. I’ve seen a lot of bunkers, Nick. Yes, sir. A lot of bunkers out here. We’re going to start off fairly lengthy par4 today with the pen pin being all the way in the back. We’re going to look, you’re going to hear me say juniper a lot today. That’s going to be referring to the bushes that we have on our golf course. Okay. So, these two junipers up the right hand side that are sitting in a bunkering, our target line is inside left of those. Okay. All right, let’s play golf. Play well. Have fun. Can’t wait. Honestly, this is going to be so good. I’m happy with that, Nick. I’m happy with it. Get a little left for us. Yes, sir. Perfect. Fairway. Hear that? Perfect. Perfect. Middle of the fairway. I forgot my iced coffee. Middle of the fairway. Let’s go here at the incredible Whistling Straits. I mean, look at the logo. I mean, is that not an epic logo for a golf course. Three PJ Championships, one Ryder Cup, one senior PJ Championship, and now an episode of Break 75. I mean, this is going to be good. Okay, we got selfie stick cam today. No golf carts out here at Whistling Strait. It’s not on this course anyway. Is there on the Irish course? Yes, sir. You’re you’re able to take a cart through our fairways on the Irish course along with our other two courses as well. Um Irish course kind of similar to this, a little more Parkland style to it. They say it’s a perfect combination of traditional Parkland and lynx combined together. So out here we get a little bit more of a lynx look though. So it was inspired by Bali Bunion, right in Ireland. So um Mr. Cola unfortunately passed away. Was it 2022 who owns the company Cola who makes a lot of the bathroom um toilets, baths, taps, etc. Faucets, etc. Yeah. Um which is located here in Cola, right? Yep. Located probably about 15 minutes from this golf course is where the factory actually is. So when he’d been on a trip to Ireland, this is from what I understand, he was like, “We need to have a golf course like in the USA.” Yeah. Came back here. This land was an old RAF base. Yes, sir. And very flat. Very flat. He enlisted the services of Pete Dye, famous architect, the madman. They moved tens and tens of thousands of tons of rubble to build all of these dunes. And it’s the backdrop is Lake Michigan, which kind of looks like an ocean anyway. It’s a lot of people call it the ocean all day long. Um, and they find, you know, it comes to a point where I’m like, “Hey, you want to call it an ocean?” I make the mistake from time to time as well, especially my first couple years up here. It’s so big, you can’t even tell it’s a lake. It’s incredible. It’s massive. And it was started the project started in two in 19 94 if I’m not mistaken. I believe so. Opened in 98 98 and then hosted its first major in 2005. Yeah. That’s unbelievable. It’s insane for a golf course to just kind of pop up out of nowhere and then less than 10 years later it’s hosting a major, right? Not too not too many places can do that. The good thing is this might be one of the greatest opening t-shots any anyone’s ever hit. I I agree with that. This we’re in position A. That’s that is for certain. This is one of my best opening T- shots I’ve hit for a very long time. Um I mean just just come have just come have a little spin of that and have a look at this. I mean it’s absolutely unbelievable. Also, what was the starter’s name? Sorry, Nick. I Bill is our starter. Bill very kindly gave me this on the tea. It’s a Whistling Straight scorecard holder. Yeah, not jealous at all. That is that is just that is a thing of beauty. Hopefully we can put a good number in there today. Um score predictions, Ed, do not say 69 round here cuz that’s just not going to happen, mate. 69 for the front nine, maybe. 75. 75. Benny boy. 76. Sorry. That’s all right. I’d be happy with 76, Joe. Just about break 80. 79. 79. It’s all in the 70s. Nick, uh, you’ve played it. You’ve cut it here in a lot of times. Cut it here a lot. A lot of times played here a lot of times. And me and a couple of the guys in the shack this morning, we were talking the number. We put it we put it at 76 and a half at the number. Um, I said I said possibly over. I don’t want to I don’t want to I don’t want to sound bad, but we have them we have them in the upper 70s today is what we have them at right now. Listen, if I write a seven at the start of my final score today, I’d be very happy. No. Well, what’s our goal? What’s our number, pal? 153 to the flag stick. It plays downhill about three yards from here. I like something close to the number with this wind into us, Rick. And the target would be the left third of that juniper bush. Okay. Everything that comes down short and right of that flag stick will kind of sit real quick. Give us a good opportunity to make our first birdie of the day. Okay, perfect. Oh, it’s a bit skinny. Get a nice wind’s kind of holding it up. Give us a little lucky bounce here. All right, we’re fine there. Yeah, just a a little bit skinny. I was scared about missing that one left. That’s all right. Just cuz obviously you missed in the perfect spot if you’re going to miss the green here. Uh we’ll have an opportunity to use a lot of Texas wedge out here. Oh, perfect. Talking my language. We’ll be able to roll it from nearly anywhere if we’re just off the green. Found us. finding ourselves in the tight grass out here. So, it’s it’s a popular option by a lot of the guests, too. Gonna swing a bit left and then straighten out. Yeah, it’ll straighten out and then kind of cruise to the left as it approaches the hole as well. There’s just a little higher side on that right side. Everything’s pace here. Just get our pace down. Get lucky. Maybe she’ll roll in. Keep going. Keep going. Yeah, it’s pretty good. We okay with the flag out today, Rick? Please, mate. I was uh worried halfway there. I didn’t think it was quite going to get there. Yeah, it it cruised down there quite a bit. Yes, sir. Just enough of the hole. It It’s beautiful how quiet it is. But it’s almost like when you stood over the ball, it’s that quiet. It is that quiet. The only thing I can hear is my own brain like almost ticking over. It’s a good thing and a a good thing and a bad thing I suppose. So out here there’s different tea markers obviously, but they actually I showed you on the first tea they actually have where they played each tournament from. So they played all the three PJ championships from here and the Ryder Cup from this very tea box. And look at that for a backdrop. Lake Michigan. I mean it’s massive in it. How is that a lake? It’s so big. I mean, it’s like, to be honest, it’s like being in Scotland or Ireland, but you’ve just got the weather. It’s just a lot nicer weather. And today, very luckily, not a breath of wind, which I’m guessing it can get windy here. Yeah, this is a this is a we call it very, very calm day, although winds are going to be at 8 mph, maybe 10 mph gusts. Rick, this is what’s out in front of us here. Par five here. Ultimately, if we look off into the distance, we’ll see those two uh nuclear stacks there. We want to end in line with those or a smidge left of those. Okay, left is our friend on this one. Dog leg right. Good swing here. Not my best hit, but it’s going to be okay. Kick left. Keep kicking left. Keep kicking left. Saw a couple of bounces there. Yeah, that’s that’s almost going to finish on those nuclear stacks, but it was a very towy. Okay, bad one. We’ll take it. Thanks, fam. Right, after a nice drive, it’s just actually clung onto this first cut of rough. Uh, but it’s actually sat up beautifully. Bit of a blind second shot here, Nick, from this angle. Uh, from this angle, yes, sir. I mean, ultimately, we’re just going left edge of this bush in front of us. We can even bail out a little left. I’m looking for around a 200 club here. With that wind into us, I don’t think that reaches the junk. But if you can see the towers where we are, that bunkering comes in at 212 from where we’re standing. So, there’s no point in hitting 3wood. No, no point in hitting 3-wood. We got 330 left over. Uh, this will kind of leave us around that 130 140 mark in for a nice full iron in to this par five. So, just left of this Jupiter bush. Sir, let me kind of stand behind. Make sure. What did you call the bush? Juniper. Juniper. Yeah. Well, you could think of like the the alcohol gin. That’s what they make gin out of is juniper berries. Is that right? Yes, sir. Yeah. And we can kind of we can fly over a little bit of the bush on that left side of it if you’d like. Um if I go too far right, what’s happening? Uh we’re still in play. You might might find a service road or a bunker, but uh the right side I would rather play from from here on out. Okay. Okay. Oh, that’s too far right. All right, we’re just in some of the longer stuff. Maybe we even caught like one of the sections that my maintenance crew kind of takes a cart through. Maybe we got a flat lie. That’d be nice. Yeah, that was a bit just off that hang. Thank you. That hanging lie. I was a bit worried about it going too far left. Those little things that get in our heads when we step over it. You’re like, “Ah, it’s above my feet. Maybe I inch a little more to the right.” Yeah. Okay. 153. Third shot into this par five. Um, I’m just going to kind of chase a nine up there. Look at that. I mean, it’s just spectacular. Come on. Eyes on the prize, though, Rick. Right side of the green is the miss. Got one more big kick left. Soft. Okay, kick right. We’re just in tight grass on that right side. Like I’m very protective of the left at the moment. That’s all right. Okay. pin high, but just to the right. Little chip. Not a lot to get over roll. Yeah. Well done there. Yeah. Not far off. No. Left it on the right side of the hole if it doesn’t find the bottom of the cup. Right. Wow. Oh my goodness. What an outrageous view. Ticking a few of your boxes. I mean, this is ticking every single one of my boxes. I love link style golf courses. I was just about to lick the golf ball there. It’s not in my hand. I love ocean views, even though it’s a lake. Wow. I love the sun. And I love making puts. So, that’s the only thing I need to do here now. Pretty straight. It’s going to fall left if anything. Just Just if anything. Yes, sir. Nice. Nice little up and down. Let’s go. Level path through two. Wow, this is nice. I’m guessing we come back around you again. Every three holes. Every three. Yes. Perfect. We’ll see you in three holes. Sounds good. Thank you. Thank you. Third hole. I’m going to sound like a broken record today, but that is just I mean, come on. Come on. How good does this look? We got 159 from the the plaques here. Rick plays downhill to 153. And that wind is just off the lake right here. We’re going to play something close to the unadjusted number of 160. Okay. Big false front. Anything that comes up short, it’s coming right back off. All right. Tina from here. Yes, sir. This is going to sound like a really stupid question. I don’t even know if I should ask it. Let’s ask away. No, I think it’s a stupid question. That is our eight iron. Correct. Yeah. Okay. Is the lake tidle? Uh, no. All wind all wind swell if you’re thinking swell wise. Listen, I knew it wasn’t. Obviously, it’s the lake. Like, just letting the views know. Just like, you know, just checking just I didn’t know if it was tidle and came in and out, but I mean, this is the freshwater surfing capital of the world, though. So surf. They surf on there. Yep. Just on the other side of that peninsula. You head about a mile south of that. You watch surfers on any random day. They’re out there paddling and surfing. No way. Pretty neat. Okay. Ai. And we’re just going to try and land it just after the hole. Go in the hole then. Go in the hole. Oh, just a touch long. Got to avoid that false throat. Thank you, my friend. Look at this. What a partnership. Nick and Rick back together. The dream team. We almost conquered sawrass twice. I think we conquered it for sure. 78 was it? Is that 78? 78. So, let’s see what we can do around here. This is going to fall right. Yeah, it should kind of creep right all the way there. Big swinging putt here. Great lag there. That great lag there. I kind of when it got past the hole, I thought it was going to like really speed up, but then it flattens out a little bit, which is nice. Using all the hole again. I mean, hey, we both we we know the left side of the hole and the right side of the hole both work today. Hey, thanks. Good putt. [Music] Okay, fourth hole. It’s a long one. 450 yards. It’s called the glory hole. Well, it’s called glory and it’s the it’s the um I’ve just got to hit it long and straight. Look at the I mean, this is a it’s a glory hole. I mean, it’s a Anyway, let’s straight at that that bunker at the hillside. Yeah. Juniper. Yes, sir. Juniper bush. Oh, that’s a Healey. Please carry. Might have got away with it. That was a horrible Healey one. It’s 5050 on that one. Thick stuff or carried it. It’s either thick stuff or position A. One of the other right there. Just really healy. That’s going to be real close to tell before we get to it. Okay, we caught this uh I It was a really bad Healey strike. We’ve caught this bunker that doesn’t really look like a bunker. It kind of just looks like a bit of wasteland. I’m going have to just wedge it back out into the fairway. Are these actual stones? Yes, sir. Feel free to move anything, any loose impediments, etc. Yep. Good shot there, Rick. Yep. Yep. Little bit of damage on the wedge, but that’s okay. Got 52 152 back up the hill. 158 to this flag stick. Okay. Flag’s in the back right section of my green. I like something close to the number. I don’t think it flies there, but it gets us to downhill section on the green that’ll carry us back to the flag. So, like a 155 shot. 155. 160 is okay. Working a little left, we got the bounce there. Just to the right of the green, I would imagine, but heat leaking and right a touch. I think I’m not like feeling this wind a touch off the left. That wind. Yeah, it’s there. It is there. Yeah. And that water is going to tell you right now. It’s all moving right at us. That wind’s coming right from that direction. Got a little tricky one here. Not a lot of green to work with and everything’s sloping away. That wasn’t a million miles away from being perfect. That was really, really good. Yeah, that went so high. It just That was really That was a really great release. It if it just landed like a foot further right, it would have actually snaked more towards the pin. Little bit off the left. Yes. kind of just creeps all the way there too. Uh pace is just a little down on your angle there, partner. Thank you. Come on. This be important put great stroke there, Rick. Feel like that was a a big sigh of relief there. That was awesome. I really I fought really hard for my bogey there. I did not want to make double hole five. It’s a double dog leg. If you remember in RDER Cup, Bryson’s direction was that way with his driver. He just went straight over everything. He went over those two mounds that are kind of sitting past him right there, just to the left of him. Yep. He had like less than 100 into this. Our line a little different. So, we look off into the distance. I’m saying we don’t have that speed that not too many people do. It’s impressive. We got three pot bunkers that sit in the hillside and then there’s a grassy null just to the left of it. We’re going to try and land something right in between those two. If not, we’re favoring the bunkers. Okay. The bunkers in the distance. Yes, sir. Those three They almost look heart-shaped from here in the shadows. It doesn’t Pete Dy loves heart shapes, does he not? He does. Is there anything heart-shaped on this course? Well, those bunkers, we’ll see another bunker. No actual green features or fairway features, but we do have a lot of heart-shaped bunkers out here. I’ll point them out as the day goes on. That’s so good, Rick. You know what? You’re right. That was so good. That is so good. That was one of the nicest drives I’ve hit. Thank you. But so far, four holes in. Nick, I’m absolutely loving this place. It’s I wouldn’t have talked it up. I wouldn’t have talked it up. You said when we were at Sorrass, you were like, “Got to come down to Wistley Straits.” Well, up to Whistler. Up and over. Yeah, for sure. Um, it’s a it’s a golf course like no other. I I truly believe uh from the clientele we get out here to, you hear it non-stop. I have a lot of people I haven’t personally been to the West Coast to see Pebble in person. have a lot of people who put this up against Pebble. It’s very So, obviously, have you been over to the UK? I h I have not been over to the UK for golf reasons. I’ve only been uh I wouldn’t I think I’ve only been to Ireland, and that was just a family trip back in 2007. So, there’s a well, a couple of golf courses in Scotland, one called Kings Barnes, very familiar, which was actually built about the same time as this, about about 2000. and it’s very very similar vibe. Um possibly not so much water, but you have some stunning holes by the water. Um and I must admit, again, leaving politics aside, Trump Abedine is unbelievable. I’ve I’ve heard nothing but good things about most of his golf courses. Yeah, I’ve played three or four of them and honestly, they’re fantastic. Yeah. Um and it kind of reminds me of this place as well. Um, I mean it’s just it’s absolutely spectacular. Yeah. As you were saying earlier, he’s like, “Oh, yeah. It was modeled after Bali Bunion.” Yeah. Yeah. I’ve actually not played Bali Bun, believe it or not. That’s exactly what Herb caller told Pete D was, “I want to bring Bal Bunion to the shores of Lake Michigan.” Those were his words to him. And this is what we got was this property and our Irish property. But what it it doesn’t feel like it’s a very it’s not a it’s not a tacky replica. No. Do you get what I mean? Like it feels really authentic. Like it’s been here for a hundred years. That’s not 25 not 27 years. Yeah. I’m blown away when I mean obviously two years ago we held our 25th anniversary. Um I thought when you step foot out here you don’t think it’s only 25 years old. I’ll tell you that much. Um, everything’s pretty rough, rugged, and natural looking. That’s for sure. Yeah, it’s really spectacular. Very, very well done. We got 260 to our flag stick. Um, the green’s so shallow. Even if we had something that can carry that far, likeliness of it holding the green, slim to numb. It’s going to kind of just shoot us off. I mean, at 260, I like a 200 yard shot should leave you around that 100 yard mark if we keep it out on that right side. Okay, let’s go 69. I’d rather just be a little bit short if I’m 100% hit a full shot in. I’d rather be like 110 than 90. I love that. No further right than the bunker. That should be just fine, Rick. Yep. Great swing. Yeah. All right. Yep. Got the little Got the little non Yeah, the anti- lefts today. That’s okay. Just like obviously there you can’t hit it left. You’re in the water. Well, I’ll say you’ve had an anti- left swing on all the right swings. So, yeah, that’s true. We’ll take it. Keeps us in play. It’s when we switch the other way when the water’s on our right. That’s why I need the anti anti- right swing. 85 yards. Going to flick a little sand wedge in there. Spin. Yeah, great shot there. Take that. We shall take that. Thank you, my friend. All day. All day long. Okay. Landed it pretty much on the number. It dug its teeth in. Nice little nice little bounce back. This would be Thanks, Nick. You’re welcome. Come on then. Love that. Love that sound. I’ll say let’s go. Let’s go. Oh, that is pretty straight right there. Will it sit? That’s so good. What we hitting? Uh, ultimately I’m just looking for a 230 shot, 240 shot. I just It’s just not a driver. Driver just kind of narrows our landing zone. Although it does put a wedge in hand. What can I What can I carry it? So like a 210. The one thing I just trying to avoid, Rick, are these two bushes up the left. If we lose anything left, those bushes come in at 250. Okay. So if I four iron, I can’t reach them. No. And you’re just And you’re just right of this pot bunker in the fairway here. Be a little bit more of a blind shot to the right hand flag location today. You can see the flag tip kind of sticking out over in the dunes there. That was a great swing there, Rick. Beautiful. Perfect. Yep. Very nice. Thanks, P. Thank you. All right. How far do you think we’re going to have roughly? Uh, I believe we’re going to probably have around 152. 155. Nice. I have 140 to the front edge. Flags here. Oh, wow. That’s an unusual shape. unusual shaped green. It’s a lot a lot going on on this green. So, what what do I need to carry this 150? We need to at least carry at 40. This is like we’re trying to land it on the hood of a car. Flag stick in correlation to our golf ball here. It’s probably It’s not quite right edge of the bush, but it’s maybe right where that bunker comes down. Yeah. Wind’s just off the right. Wind’s off the right. Yes, sir. Oh, that looks really good. Yeah. Pin high. Maybe 15 ft. That’s so good from here. That’s so good from here. We’re 15 ft. That’s awesome. About 15 ft. Great swing, man. Thank you. So, just getting down here. I’ve hit a really nice shot into a very very even though this screen’s massive, the actual section of the green that I’ve hit into small. And look at all this shot. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine bunkers. And there’s a bit down here which looks like like horrendously bad. Look at that. Oh my goodness. I mean, that’s that’s a 10 written all over that, is it? Just inside that old hole. I don’t know if you’re giving the hole away on this one, Rick. Oh, really? I really don’t think so. If you kind of poke at it, just give it another eye from the opposite side there. Might give you a little confidence in it. It’s kind of like that midsection gets pretty straight there. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Just the gut. Make good stroke here. Little bit left to right. Oh, it didn’t break as much. It’s a good putt. Oh, should have listened to you, Nick. It’s all right. You’ve only had it here what, a thousand times? Maybe at the end of the season. Maybe. I I just saw it just moving out a little bit more, but you were spot on. It’s all right. Come on. Knock this in. Clean it up. Oh, no. No. No. Take your time. I did all the hard work. I hit a great T-shot. I hit a great iron shot. Oh, I got too greedy with the birdie. That’s all right. All right. deserve better than the the scorecard reflects there. Ah, played that hole really well. Yeah, go ahead. I was like, am I taking you here? I’m so sorry. Please. I’ll tell you what I’ll get. Would you like I’ll just have it in the can if that’s okay. All right, take one. Oh, share cookie for the crew. Yeah, share cookie. Look at all my Nick. No, I’m great. I just have some water on me. I appreciate it. Just that, please. Perfect. Can you guys Wow, look at this. Oh my goodness, Rick. We got help off the right right now, too. I need help. It’s It’s help wind off the right. I need help after that three put on the last. That stings a bit, but this this definitely softens the blow. Um 199 pin carry at 190 or you I like 8590 club and we come down a little left of that flag stick. Okay. So, six iron. You say it’s helping a little bit. I think it’s helping a bit. And I think we hit five, it lands past it, it might run through, but with six, I’ve got I’ve got to be left of that pin. Yeah. In line or left of it. I mean, shorter force carrier. If we don’t hit it completely good, I mean, I’ I’d rather work from the short side of this green than it be behind it. Okay. So, this is where famously, I mean, loads of drama’s happened on here, but John Daly was having a a little bit of a bad hole and he was he threw his club in the water, right? Yes, sir. Didn’t he have like an 11 on this hole or something? I think he hit like three T- shots. All right, let’s try and not do that. We got it. Go in the hole. Go in the hole. Oh, that felt good. Your phone phone’s down here. Leave it, Nick. I don’t need I don’t need anything else in my life after hitting that shot. Like nothing. I don’t I don’t need anything. I’m going to lie. That’s exactly how I felt when I hit my first T- shot on onto the screen from back here, too. That was un incredible feeling. Oh my the the flight of it, the feel, the sound, the fact that I got a cookie here that I just mashed. Oh, don’t worry. Leave it. It’s not It bends. Leave it. We don’t need it. Yeah, I’m done. Bye, everyone. Thanks for watching. Ah, Rick, we’re hitting some golf shots. See you next video. We are hitting some golf shots today. Come on. Let’s keep it rolling. So nice. I know why I hit such a great shot. Bye. I just started drinking my kind of Arnold Palmer iced tea. That means I must hit some good shots. Half and half and a half. You know what I mean? I literally had one drink of this and suddenly I suddenly got superpowers. Suddenly at a six iron from 200 y to about 10 12 ft. Oh, we just need the umbrellas. Do you know what we need, Nick? Another birdie. A bounceback birdie. You’re right. Yes, sir. It didn’t break. Kind of stayed way higher than I expected. It’s a good stroke. Yep. A feel like I’m reading a bit too. Hey, listen. I’ll take a par on that hole. Take a par. A birdie would have been really, really sweet. It’s all right. Okay, I should have I should have quit after that six iron after the tea. Should have been my last golf shot ever. This is an interesting one. Just don’t know where to hit it. Yep. You only get to see where you end from the T-OT. You don’t get to see where you get to hit it to. Eighth hole here at Whistling Straits called On the Rocks. And I mean, I can see the tea. I can see the green. I can see the water. The fairway is nowhere to be seen. Um, what I believe it’s further left, but what a stunning hole here at Whistling Straits. Unbelievable. Right. Where am I going, Nick? You’re going literally left edge of the bush. Holy. Got my Palmer. I spelt it. Go. Now watch this drive. Good swing, Rick. That was pretty good. Yeah. Should catch the left half of the fairway there. 215. Yep. What? Maybe 200 or 210 or something around that 200 210. I mean, both of those work. I’m trying to just really come over front edge. I mean, that pin is literally back right corner as it can get. I’m just going to go with the guy in the middle of the green. I love that right edge of the bush is where this ball comes down in line with. Obviously, not this moment because they’re still on the green, but that’s my line. Slightly worried. And I’ve just finished my arm up armor drink. So you’re going to see a few more good shots now, but then it’s going to fade pretty quickly. I think we don’t we go past it again. Okay. Just have one every three holes. Yeah, we’ll have a turn window and then when we go to the back nine, we’ll have another one of those stations set up for us after the second 15th hole. You keep stacking them up. I’ll keep knocking them down. Legend. Wind a little bit off the right still. Wind still off the right. Maybe a a touch of help if it’s going to ride on that draw. I mean, do I try and slice one in there? I think stock shot middle of the green here. Hopefully, it trundles over the the middle and gets us to that backside. Hit the bank of that bunker. It’s going to walk. The bunker. Oh. Oh, what a bounce. Oh, going back towards the hole. What a bounce. Have you got that? Maybe that’s a little Arnold Palmer there. There we go. The king looking after me. Thank you. What a shot. That was ridiculous. Oh my. If I bird this hole with this backdrop. What backdrop? I want you to I want you to fill Lake Michigan with birdie sauce. Okay, I’m going to trust you to read me here for me, Nick. I feel like I’ve not read them great so far. No, that’s all right. I’ll give it my best effort for you. Everything kind of wants to fall left off of that point. Okay. And you are traveling downhill on this. Come on, Rick. This is This This would be real special. [Music] [Music] [Music] Bang. What a birdie on eight. Freaking insane birdie on eight, too. Good read, Nick. Awesome putt, dude. Good read, Nick. Awesome putt. Fill Lake Michigan with some birdie sauce. That was that was unreal. It’s an Palmer. I don’t know if it’s the fact I’m using tightless number seven today. My lucky number. I don’t know. I don’t know. But we’re not complaining. Level path through eight. Wow. Down and dirty. Number nine. Widest fairway, smallest green. Driver. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. It’s uh it’s it’s nice having you know if you hit your marks with your driver out here. A lot of like our tournament TE’s that we’re playing today too. You’re going to be required to hit driver a lot. What’s it what’s it distance-wise off these TE’s? Uh like from the true back just like Yeah. What we playing off today? We’re playing probably at around 71 7200 yards. Maybe a little north of 72 depending on where they have a couple of the the plates today. So So it’s like 78. Yeah. We’re we’re not we’re not playing 78. We’re playing it, I’d say, on the lower half in between 78 and 7,000. We’re on that lower half. Okay, Nate, what’s my line here on nine? Uh nine line is right edge of that juniper bush. We can kind of see that’s actually sitting in the left corner of our fairway. I have fairway as right as that tall chimney on my clubhouse. We’re still going right edge of that bush that’s hanging out in the left corner there. Okay, this is great. And by the way, Nick is so good. He gives me like a weird level of confidence. Free to fire, Rick. Just like free to fire. fire just like, “Yeah, I’m just going to fire.” You know what I mean? Why would I not? Well, that was a great drive. Thank you. This is one of my favorite shots at sunset cuz I typically I’m like finishing my nine. Imagine. Okay, after a really nice T-shot here on nine, we’ve got 140 left to the pin. It’s playing a little bit downhill downwind. I’m gonna hit a nice pitching wedge. Oh no. Oh, did you see that kick? Did it get over the edge? Oh, that was awful kick. Bounce right down into whatever that is. All right, we’ll take an eye out for it. It is red steak right there. There’s actually two down there in the rocks. And there’s one there. That’s ours. I don’t think it’s hitable against a rock. It is lateral though, so we can drop. What are the two down there? Two more. That’s That one’s our This is ours right here. Yeah, it’s just it’s not playable. It is our number seven. Let’s have a look. Be careful. A lot of uneven ground in here. Any snakes? Nothing that’s going to be bad for us. I’m going to hit it. So, it’s hit here. It shot through the sand and down there in between two rocks, but it is playable. Nick said it wasn’t playable. It’s playable. I’m playing it. Even if I have to break my wrist, I’m playing it. Don’t worry, Nick. I’m a trained professional just off the back. May have caught a bunker. Oh, I mean, that was a pretty freaking awesome shot all things considered right there. It’s not. It’s not. Oh, it flew literally a yard too far. Honest. What the hell am I going to do here? I think you’re going to have to uh drop to the knees, Rick. Yep. You don’t have to ask me twice. Yeah, unfortunately. What the hell? Sit. Sit. Oh, really good shot from there, Rick. Really good shot. That was a really good shot to be fair from that. All right, let’s not this in for bogey. Oh, middle of the fairway. Let it a double bogey on the ninth. Oh, it was too good to be true. You know what it was? No. Arnold Palmer. Arnold Palmer ran out. Damn it. Okay. Two over front nine. Kind of take that. But that is a tough pill to swallow. [Music] Hello. Could I get Have you got Arnold Palmer’s here? I do. The light ones. How you doing? I’m good, thank you. You if I get a picture of you, you can uh par four here. We’re just going to try and end in line with the second pot bunker that’s on the left side of this this first one in front of us. Yes, sir. wind in and off the right slightly. Can kind of start it out over the bunker and just let it end where it wants to end. Okay, two over now after the front nine after that double. Oh, hold on a minute. Hold on a minute. Okay, straight in the little pot bunker. Yeah, good shot, Rick. Fairway found. Nice. Fairway found. Good swing. Excellent. Anything I need to know about the green? So, you get a little more length and depth the further left you are, but this green shaped like right to left rather than lengthwise. Flag sticks only sitting like two or four paces on. It’s a very short-sided stick, so a little extra doesn’t kill us, but it does notoriously like to run away after it lands on the green. Go up and down. Didn’t need a lot more, did it? It didn’t. I needed half a yard. I think I want to hold it, Nick. Oh, I love these vibes. Let’s see it. I just ran up the face a touch. That was a good shot though. Yeah, manageable par save right here. Okay, catch my breath. No need to panic. Not a loading it. No. If I had to point at something for you to look at, I think we’re just a little outside that mark. About like right there. Yes, sir. Yeah. Stop making bogeies from the fairway. Stop making bogeies from the fairway. That those last two holes sting. I was going to say that one stings particularly for me right there. Hit a good bunker shot. Just needed one yard on the wedge. Oh, golf. Golf. I hold a good birdie put on six on eight. Got a good bounce. You know what I mean? Hey, sometimes you get the bounce, sometimes you don’t. Well, sometimes you get the bounce and sometimes you get the bounce. Probably the best way to put that one. My issue is the bounce was so good on eight. Yeah. It’s now punished me on nine and 10. I agree. So now we level. Okay, golf gods, we level now. Let me play golf again, please. Uh Rick, just while I have those folks there now, we’ll just take note that we want to be inside left of the two guys in the dark shirts there. Okay. Inside left of me. Mhm. If you look to the left, there’s a flag right in the distance. Exactly. I want you at the flag or we’re going to be in line with the bunkers that are stacked on top of each other just to just to the left of it. There’s a perfect circle bunker there. Okay. Can I carry the one on the right? No, not today. No, it’s just if we carry it, it’s we’re just we’re in in the junk if we carry it. Okay. Just need to settle myself here now. I’m three over and I don’t feel like I’ve done a great deal wrong. I’ve hit two bad golf shots and I’m three over. Um par five though, 560. There’s a chance of making a birdie back here. But, you know, I’m enjoying it. Really enjoying it. I mean, more than enjoying it. It’s It’s one of the best golf course I’ve ever played in my life. It’s stunning. Unbelievable. What an evening as well. Really is. Just want to finish off with some finish these last eight holes with some really solid golf. Get down soft on that line, please. One bounce. Ah, maybe caught a waist bunker there. Yeah. Ah, just pulled it into this wasteland area. Was going to try and hit a seven iron back out just shy of the What? What’s going to get me on top of the hill? Uh, 185 gets you to the top of the hill. I feel like I might as well just hit eight cuz I feel like that’s going to just land on the hill. I’m okay with that. Got a footstep behind my ball cuz again it’s wasteland so don’t actually rake this. Well, that’s going to stay short of that down there. All right, Rick, we got a long long shot in to set ourselves up for a birdie shot. So, Rick, we got 179 to the front edge. That’s like the number I concern myself with when I’m playing this hole. So, flag stick is at 194. We’re looking for something that’s going to come down between those two numbers. Okay. Six iron. Oh, Rick, wreck, wreck, wreck. That was really nice. What a shot. I must admit that was really nice. You are better from that distance. I am. I am better with a sixiron than I am a 60. I agree. That’s that that’s uh that’s what’s going on today at least. I mean, that’s what goes on all the time. I might have to just keep us outside of 140 yards today. We’re going to be doing all right. Hitting golf shots from distance. I will say that was that was one of the nicest ones. The the long iron ball strikings. You’re in the zone today with that. I’m actually driving it pretty well cuz I’ve been I was saying to you on the range before I’ve been bit little bit off my drive recently. Yeah, I haven’t seen much of that today. I mean, that was a little errant shot right there, but we we missed on the right side of the hole there. So, as long as I can keep driving, well, putting feels good. Just need to keep me outsideund 100 yards. Yeah. I mean, and if I’m completely honest, we had seven putts through six holes. Is that right? But then then the six hole happened and I was like, “No, we had a three foot.” By the way, look at this bunker. Oh my gosh. So again, is that classed as wasteland? That’s counts as waste as well. Yeah, cuz raking that I don’t think they I don’t think we have enough rakes to maintain this bunker throughout a day. Wow, that’s incredible. But there’s your P die right there. Railroad ties. So even if you do get it off the ground, it might hit one of those and come right back at you. Come on, Rick. [Music] Great putt. Good birdie. Yes, we needed that. Give me something like that. Come on. Come on. Come on. Needed that. Um, come on, Annie. You, me, pal. It’s like I’m playing a scramble with Arie right now. He’s really He’s really helping me out. Just an unbelievable par three is what we’ve got. The the 12th old popup it’s called. Um and just try I was I was going to mention this, but I can’t not do. I just literally threw my phone down behind me and somehow it ended up underneath the can. Some weird weird things going on. Um, the only thing I’ve got to do now is make a hole in one. 140 yards. I’m going to batter a wedge there. It’s going to land on the down slope. Check in, check up, and then go in. Oh, pulled it. It’s going to be enough club, but it needs to get down. Sit there. All right. Just in the collection area right there. It nearly was horrible. Did you see that? It went in the real thick stuff and just jumped out, luckily. Oh, that was a disappointing golf shot. It’s all right. Thanks, pal. That was uh We saw the water, right? We’re probably not gonna hit a cut into this one. Well, I just You know what it was? I tried to batter a wedge and I didn’t allow for enough draw. So, pin high, but just off the green. It actually landed just in the fringe, jumped and actually hopped into this stuff, and then jumped back out. It could have been It could have been real bad. Um, just need to land this like a foot on the green and let it run round. Yeah, that was really really well played there, Rick. Tiny bit to the right. Yes. I mean, I just think at the pace you got to play it. I’m seeing it right around here, Rick. Yeah. It’s got to be a little outside just because it’s going to have time coming down that hill. Okay. Okay. Little dribbly one down the hill. Great putt. Great save. Great read. Great partnership. Really great read. Really great putt. Nick and Rick show. There we go. And Arie, obviously he’s there. And Arie. He’s here in spirit and in beverage. Now on to my favorite hole of all of our properties. Oh wow. Your This is your favorite hole, Nick. Favorite hole. I mean, I could honestly probably say my favorite hole anywhere. Anywhere. Yeah. It’s just a fun It’s a fun hole. I’ve seen it in all of its settings, too. It’s tournament setting. It’s resort setting. Thank you. And it’s just a it’s a fantastic golf hole called Cliffhanger. And just like number eight, you’ll kind of have the same vibe from this T- box as far as like what in the world the course that just keeps giving. Well, clean living. Is that going to be all right? Yes, sir. I was a bit scared then. That was a little Thank you. A little iffy, but she held on there. Good swing. So, not fair way. Oh, really? 100. Like I said, you could be right. Like that’s where we would have hit driver. All right. Okay. Yeah. Both of them do the job. That that bunker in front of us is only 200 yards away. So, great. Take that out of play. You’re good to go. Okay. Really nice three-wood right side of the fairway. 151 yards playing 147. Just a beautiful approach again here into number 13. Cliff Edge, you say it’s called Cliffhanger. Cliffhanger. Nick said get it landing left of the flag. Wind’s just a touch off the right, so I’m just going to go just left of the flag and let it drift. Oh, a bit too far left. Get down. Looks like it might catch a piece. Maybe just off maybe still putting. Okay, just off the side of the green. Actually in the fringe annoyingly. Just pulled it on the wrong side. I’m going to put it because I just feel like I’ve got a bit more control. This needs to get about 80%. Yeah, 80% and then it dies. Yep. Brakes on. Pull flaps. That’s all right. That’s all right. Tough one to judge properly as far as pace. I just got a bit scared of leaving it in with that thick stuff. Well, I was going to say I’m happy you didn’t leave that putt right here. So, we’re in a good spot here. Oh, I hit it through the break. It just didn’t curl either. Just that little bit firm. Sorry, Nick. No, that was that was good. No, I’m sorry. No, come on. I should have done better than that. I should have hit the green with an N iron. That’s what I should have done. There you go, partner. Thanks, sir. Okay, come on. Three over. Three over a handful of holes to go. Uh, Rick, only a 400 yard hole here. Okay, so I mean, we can hit three wood. That gives you a nice fatter section of fairway here. Perfect. Can you see this tree line up the right? Yeah, it’s just like that. Right where the tree line stops in the hill, that’s where our shot ends. Okay. Got a bunker that’s just protecting that left side low in the fairway. Thanks, pal. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. There you go. Good swing there. Thank you. Okay. Really nice T- shot. 114 yards left in. Gap wedge in hand. Come on. We need to shoot under par from this point. That’ll be really good. Spin there. Great shot. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Have this. And we have an iced tea lemonade waiting for you there. Thank you, Nick. Funny that we throw darts right after we crack it and sip it. Wild Palmer, let’s get a sponsorship going. Need it. Okay, really nice shot into this hole. Come on. Right now is when I need a birdie. I’ve You know what? I’ve actually made quite a lot of good bounceback birdies today. Hardly anything in this. Yep. Thank you. You want to have a quick read, Nick? No, sir. kind of like just like one of those that’ll just kind of move a little bit and then maybe come back if you like favor and inside left if you think it’s going to go a little right. I love that. I don’t know what to say about that. Nick, I’ll let me I’ll let you down. I let me down. I let Whistling Straits down. That’s all right. I’m not upset with you. I am. Wasn’t a great putt. Wasn’t a great putt. Thanks. I’m pretty down. I think you should all be. Did everything right. Needed that. Let us down. No, I didn’t swig it before I cut it. Oh god, I didn’t take a swing. Oh man, I was going to own that one, too, until Arnold popped up there. Oh, par4 503 today. Uh, we’re looking at just ending a little right of the two junipers that are lining that left hand side here. Quite a long quite a long par4. This long par4. I believe at one time 2015, I think it was the longest par4 in major history. Um, I’m sure that record’s been shattered by a couple of majors now. Okay. So, just right of our Junifer buses. Buses. Jupiter buses. Hang out a little bit. Travel. All right. We’re going to be in that waist area on that right side. Draw a good line. We might be able to get something on the green. Might be short. It’s right. Yeah, great shot, Rick. Just short of the front edge. Maybe just snuck on. Nice. Really good shot there. Come on, Arie. Does golf get any better than this, Nick? Uh, not not at this time of the day. I mean, this is probably one of my favorite times to be out here. We are chasing a little daylight, but it’s unreal out here. Love it. It really is. Are you more of a early morning or late tea time? Um, you know, I’ve been more prone to like the earlier morning just so I have like the day ahead of me. And if I play early in the morning, could play again in the afternoon. I love that mentality. Been getting on the mentality of we’ll play off property for 18 holes and then we’ll come over here and uh get a group of guys together. We’ll walk nine holes, just enjoy our facilities ourselves, which it’s just it is spectacular. I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s exceeded my expectations. I’m glad. I’ve been waiting. I was like, man, he he’s the only one of the few who hasn’t come out here. I know. I know. Fun. Got a hot take here, Nick. I think overall this is pretty straight. Yeah, you got a favor out on that right side. Just I at the pace I see it. You can kind of see that darker fairy ring. And it’s sitting. Yeah. It’s like I The ball’s got to be like out on that thing at this point in the putt. So, you do have to favor a little right for it to get out there, but everything’s going to jet back to the left once it gets past. So, like once it gets here, nothing is going to happen besides it moving left. Okay. Love that. Oh, great putt. Awesome putt. That was a good putt. How can I do that from how far away? And I missed a three-footer on the last. Well, yeah. Said it a couple times. Golf. Golf. [Laughter] As it got up on this hill here, I was like, “Oh, hello.” It was looking good. Hello. Great save there. I take that’s a great par out of position off the tea. 200 yards out the wasteland. Okay. Yeah, we’ll take that. Well, we have to, don’t we? All right. That bush they’re kind of walking to, that bush that they’re walking to, first bush on the right, comes in at 305. Okay. I would love for us to be left of it. Okay. I don’t think it’s gonna be reachable today. That wind, take note of where it is now. Okay. Yeah. So, 16th hole, par five, 5 what, 60, 70 yards from here. Yeah. 560, I’d say, from where we’re standing at the plates. Okay. Come on. Three holes to go. Need one more birdie. Love that. It is par 72, isn’t it? Par 72. Yes, sir. Just like uh all of his other courses. Are they tough par five? Yeah. Tough par three. Tough par four to finish. Just like Sawrass. Just like River Course. Just like Meadow Valley. Almost all the courses up here end in that order except for our Irish golf course. No way. Yeah. Right. Come on. Nice drive. Straight at the red bag. Oh my golly gosh. All right. That on the other hole. That is on the other hole. Thank you. Jeez. That was on the 11th. The other par five I played before. I liked that much. I just wanted to see it again. You okay with six? I’m okay with seven. We just have to adjust our line. I have to go further left. Further left. Yeah. You gota the line I have you on with that is you’re not really covering any bunkers where the seven iron we got to hit it flush to get it past like where those bushes were from off the T. I’ll just stick with six iron. I can get it out this bunker. Okay, I’ve hit it in the bunker here on 11. Uh I’m a bit disorientated but it was a terrible T- shot. Um I’m just going to flush a six out this bunker. Good. Ah, love seeing a good thing happen. Great shot. Thank you. So, what’s my number? 139. 39. I think we just play that adjusted number. Yep. In line with it. Smidge right of it doesn’t kill you. What’s What’s past the pin? More green. Come on. Really good golf shot. Be amazing. Be amazing. Oh, good shot, sir. Thank you. Oh, fine shot. That That looked the right distance. Thank you. Oh, that looks so all over it. Look at this. Look at that little dart. I tell you what, that would have been a hell of a three, I’ll say. Just take note of the speed. You are coming down. So what you feel it might be a little more than what you feel just cuz it’ll have that that time to turn for us. Come on. This is big. This is needed. No, that was brutal. That was vicious. That was pretty vicious lip out right there. All right, tap her in. That’s all right. Oh, that would have been nice. That would have been so nice. It to be honest, it it came a little bit right off the blade and it was it was always fighting. It looked like it was sneaking right center when it got by and just Oh, right. I’ll talk to maintenance about those sharp edges. Thank you. Yeah. Oh, damn. Good par. Hey, world class par. Wowers. So, you see that big hairy bunker there in the front right? So, that didn’t exist when this place opened. No way. Pete Dy had a dream. Yeah. This is how crazy the guy was. He had a dream about a bunker in front of that this this hole. He came back and put that there. Jesus. And I was talking about it the other day with a guest, a really good player, very low single digit handicap, hit all the required shots out here. He goes, “You know, Nick, without that bunker here, this is just a basic par three. It really is.” And I thought about it. I go, “God, you’re totally right.” It is. That thing is gnarly. Really could have done with that birdie. Okay. Can’t cry over lip outs. That is really nice. Okay. A kick off the back of that bunker. Good shot, Rick. Safely aboard. I mean, it’s a bit big, but bit big. It was really nicely hit. Probably could have gone six. Flushed it. But that was a good swing. falling right most of the way. Yes, sir. You might get a little pull left off the putter just because we’re on this side of the turtle. Um, but other than that, everything should go back towards the lake here. That’s it. This has to go in to have any chance of breaking 75. That’s frustrating. That is a frustrating three put. Oh, I was going for the birdie, Nick. I went for the birdie. I don’t hate you for getting it to the hole. Oh, right. Four over now. You know what? I don’t know about you people, everyone watching. Feel like I’ve actually played all right today. Played all right. Never played here before. To come round here off the bat tease at Whistling Straits and be four over with one to play with a double bogey on the ninth. A few errant shots, but a lot of really nice golf shots, too. I’m not I’m not overly disappointed. I’d have loved to have broken 75. And there’s still a chance I’ve got to hold my second shot on 18. Oh, I would have loved to have made par there and then we knock on the door for birdie on the last. But life doesn’t happen like that. Wow, what a final hole. Unbelievable. So, arguably the toughest closing hole in North America. Great. Just got to follow the instructions. Two shots, get on a green, bury a birdie putt. Who knows, maybe we even haul out our second one. So, I’ve got to make Eagle on a 520 yard par four. I was so hoping it was a par five to finish. It’s possible. Um, wow, Rick, we’re just going at the three trees that are kind of hanging out in the right corner of my fairway there. The left two are the more aggressive lines. That further right one’s a little more conservative. And whenever you’re ready, my friend, that’s a baby bald eagle. It’s just a baby bald eagle. That is that is a sign for an eagle. Oh, hello. Okay. Left side of that tree. Yeah. We’re going to just kind of be like in between the two that are close together and the one isolated. Yep. Travel. Yeah, I think it bounced. I think it did too. That was the best drive I hit today. That was an aggressive line. Very aggressive line. We’ll get up there. I’m It bounced, did it not? Yeah, I saw a bounce. Let’s go. Come on. I couldn’t have been a better drive there, mate. No. Smashed it. For some reason, me and Rick get together, he likes taking like the ultimate tour line on the 18th hole. Oh yeah, we did that sass and birded birdie 18. And we birdied 18 when he did that. So maybe we got some good vibes coming. Maybe a little repeat. Maybe we’ll do one better. An eagle would be incredible. I’ve loved it today. I think there’s just been the two three puts. I mean, that three put that’s hard from back there. The three put on What was that? Six. Six. That’s what the double on nine. That’s stung. But great birdie on five. Great bogey on four. Really good bogey on four. That could have easily been a double if not worse. Um, really good birdie on 11. Really good birdie on eight. All honesty, the only thing I could think of that was our downfall today was hole six. That that was the only unnecessary where the double on nine. Guys, come on. Think about that double on nine. If you saw the lie, double on nine from there. But I did have a wedge in my hand. I I get that. But the bogey on 10 stung. But anyway, that’s my nemesis. So, it’s been good. I’ve actually hit some really nice shots today. Nick, as always, you’ve been absolutely incredible. If you come here to Whistling Straits, be sure to ask for Nick. Also, uh, if you’re in the winter when he’s back at Sorrass down there. Unbelievable drive. Like, couldn’t have placed any better. However, it’s a 520 520 yard par four off the bat tease and I’m still 220 yards. So, I’ve hit a 300 yard drive, but I’m 220 yards left of the pin. And what you what do you mean to carry it, Nick? I need it to carry pretty much exact shot we hit into that last par three right here. Five iron. You want the five iron? Yeah. So, we have 202 to the front edge. We know that flies down breeze. We know that flies past and we’re a little helping breeze. Yes. Definitely can’t get six there. I mean, six to get there. It’ll be a longer putt. I’m just trying to like kind of get past the front edge and it should take that bounce. Yep. We need to make eagle. Rick, you see that tree that’s kind of sitting in front of the clubhouse? Yeah. I just try and kind of land in at the base of that tree right there and then you just let the slope bring it to the flag. There’s quite a few people watching on the bank of the 18th. Quite the gallery. Not what I need right now. I’m excited. Nervous. It’s a really nice way to finish this round of golf. Oh, it’s unbelievable. Be so good. [Music] Wow. Tip your hat, sir. Tip your hat. Ah, god. By the sound of that, if we’re behind that flag stick and on the green, might be might be birdie time, baby. That was absolutely flushed. Great call on the five iron. Oh, that was perfect swing. That was absolutely You had to hit it though. That was the best shot I’ve hit time. That was enjoyable. Oh, Rick, I think you damn nearly almost hold it. It’s the way that Ieded. And excuse my language after that strike for the viewers at home. That was unreal though. Unreal. Limited light. Peanut gallery up top. Peanut gallery. That’s the biggest gallery I’ve ever played in for. Goodness gracious. It’s my biggest live audience. [Applause] That had to have scared the hole. Yeah. Okay. Deep breaths. Deep breaths. Now I’ve done the hard work’s done. I’m on the green. I’m 15t away. What I really didn’t want was like a 4 footer. It’s how my brain works sometimes. This is nice. Perfect distance. Rick, flag in, flag out. I’ll go flag out, please. Yes, sir. I’ll take that golf ball. Thanks, pal. Okay, for a 75. [Applause] It was close. Great four there, Rick. I tried. I tried. Nate, that was a pleasure. Enjoyed that, brother. Real honor. Honestly, that was so good. Oh, that would have been nice to hold that. 76. Really happy with that. Played solid solid solid golf. Incredible golf course. Um Oh, that would have been nice if I’d held that. Who guessed 76? Was it Ben? Thanks, Ed. Good work. Thanks, Joe. These lads today had no golf carts. Had to carry all the equipment around. They’ve done amazing job. Ben, Ed, and Joe, awesome. And Nick, what a superstar. And uh let let my fans down. They had been a nice little three. Right. Peace out. We’ll see you next time. That was awesome.

Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel! This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf equipment reviews, golf instruction & I play against some of the best golfers in the world!

I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.

I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!

  1. Thought I was going crazy yesterday. Tried to search this after seeing it pop up earlier in the day and no trace of it. Thought I had been seeing things

  2. When are you going to play Fishers Island? Silo Ridge is pretty hard to get into but is really quirky and fun.
