Bought one maybe a month ago. Definitely there are cheaper ways to build one but there are also much more expensive options out there. OP is serving a niche and I am a target audience (want to save money don’t want to spend $150-250 for a “caddie” product and not tech savvy enough to DIY).

I never gave thought into other brands button setups. Taken mine for granted I guess.
These look cool, but as a user experience look horrible. Small and hard buttons. I prefer my large, soft touch buttons. Much more comfortable to hit with a club head, especially the drivers or shoe-wedge.
