Faith, Golf & Long Distance | Christ-Centered French Lick Resort Wedding Film | Annabelle + Nate
And I’m turning around. You’re turning around. Hey. Hey, I’m turning around. Hey. Left hand back. Lean into the tree. Okay. There we go. Right there. Yeah. Reach for her hand. You got to reach back. Yes. Can we just take a moment and appreciate the fact that we got Annabelle to wear a pretty dress and a full face of makeup and be the center of attention for an entire day. Annabelle, I’ve seen you when you made four birdies in a row and you weren’t smiling like you were walking down the aisle. As you look around this room tonight, each person here has been part of your story in some way and shaped you into who you are to this point. And now you get to write the rest of the story together. Since Annabelle was born, uh, we’ve been praying that God would bless our family with a godly man who loves her, respects her, protects her, and is willing to lead their family. And Nate, God chose you to be that man. Annabelle was certainly one in a billion, so naturally, I always wondered just who she might end up with one day. Okay. You ready? Annabelle and I and Nate and I, we met on a on a COVID Bible study um over Zoom. Tell me, baby. All right. I saw some silly Instagram post that was like, “By the time you’re 21, you probably met the person that you’re going to marry.” And I’m like, “Who?” And I was like, “Oh, you like there was a guy on a Zoom call that I thought was cute.” And I remember loving your smile, too. That’s the thing that I remember I really liked. Yeah. I don’t know. I was so nervous. But obviously he was happened to be single. So I guess from my perspective, I was like the most single I’ve ever been. But one of our buddies, Ben, who’s in our wedding, he’s the first one that said something to me at Topgolf. He’s like, “Anel’s pretty cute, isn’t she?” I’m like, I was looking at her. I’m like, “Yeah, she is cute.” And then we went and came out here and golfed and then I got to know you and I’m like, “Oh, yeah. Like she’s she’s cute and I really like her.” where they’re like, “We get all of our things out.” [Music] It wasn’t really a date, but it was just to kind of grow closer as friends kind of thing. And yeah, found out she loved Star Wars on like this sixth hole. So, that really sold it for me, I think. stuff. That’s right. I think just the way that he was so like outgoing and very like well spoken and kind and also fun. We just had so much fun this day when we got to play together. Nate comes up to me and goes, “Dude, she’s so pretty.” And I look at him and I was just like, “What are you going to do about it?” And then I finally mustered up enough confidence to ask her on a date. And like we were in the middle of fairway. I’m like, “Okay, here we go. So, I’m going to ask her right now. You’re like, “Hey, like how does dinner sound Thursday night?” I said, “Kando.” She’s like, “What’s that? What is that?” So, yeah. What’s a kandado? And then we had to get ice cream after. So, [Music] this is Crooked State Golf Club, my like second home. And then he actually started catting here. It was weird cuz I was like from across the fairway. I’d be like, “Oh, hey.” I’d be like, “Oh, I wish I could be with you.” But it’s nice when you have a place that means so much to you and a person that means so much to you when he gets to be here. It just it was really cool. Our faith, honestly, it’s it’s been great cuz it’s been the foundation of our relationship, right? Like that’s how we got to know each other through a Bible studies. every night facetiming and doing DVO or reading a book of the Bible together. At times we’ve been traveling with Annabelle to tournaments and at night she’d get on the phone with you and you guys are like reading your Bible together and it was just inspiring to us. That was incredible. Like she’d be over in England and Ireland playing in tournaments. Like I knew pretty quick I was like she’s definitely someone I could marry and someone that I could you know spend the rest of my life with. So, even if we are doing long distance, I want to do everything we can to to build that up. Like, it’s been hard, but like it’s been good. The whole con [Music] means everything to me. I first really got to know Nate when he surprised Annabelle in Nashville for her birthday. I could just see how safe and cared for she felt, and I don’t think that she ever stopped smiling. So, I think just seeing him interact with them was so like comforting. Um, the way that he led me spiritually, no one has ever really done that. But also like when I’m in such a unique like sport and my lifestyle is so strange and nobody really does this, but he was like, I’m willing to do this. You love Annabelle well because you love Jesus most. And you don’t just talk the talk, you walk the walk. I’m so happy that you found your person. Someone who sees what a treasure you are. Yes. Don’t reenact what just happened. [Music] This is a really special place for our whole family. I grew up here actually and my sister as well and um we both got married here at the hotel. Your mom has trained you up unbelievably well and I’ve enjoyed being along for the ride. I’m having flashbacks to when she was little and would play dress up and now it’s like the real all your people in heaven are going to be here with you today nana pop a sweet so they’ll walk down the aisle with you know [Music] I can’t imagine how people [Music] control. I also guessed perfectly today [Music] I could have ever turned to the side. We’re like invisible. [Music] you’re just I just pray a blessing over their marriage that um this is the first day of the rest of their lives, Lord, and that you would just be in every single piece of it and that you would be honored and glorified through them um and just their story that’s ahead. We love you, Jesus. In your name we pray. Amen. Amen. I’m crying. I’m crying. Sorry. 3 2 1 I was right. Yay. You look so pretty. Thank you. I love it. Since she was little, I always put L U P U G D after every note that I left her. Stands for I love you. I’m proud of you. And I’m glad I get to be your dad. [Music] Okay, you good luck. You look awesome. Thank you. Can I touch you? Of course you can. Oh, I love you. You look so handsome. Well, I don’t know about that. I look good walking down the aisle with you. True. Yeah. I was just sitting here reminiscing about uh your mom and I 37 years ago throwing the bouquet right here. Yeah. This was the place that it all happened. Yeah. [Music] Wow. Dang. Amazing. Thank you. Wow. Look at you. Beautiful. [Music] So happy with you. This is what a day. Looking good, boys. Woohoo. Quick clean up. Nice. We try. We try. You know. So, can you swing in that? Like, you know, are you going to be able to like That’s what I need to make sure. This chipping contest. We got it. I tried it out the moment. I tried it on. Yeah. That was like the one that make sure chipping it. I’m so ready to hear his voice. You got to reach back. Yes. Hey. Hey. How’s your day been? Good. How about you? It’s been fun. Good. Same. We just My cheeks hurt from smiling so much, but I’m excited to see your face, though. Same. Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. And thank you for coming to support Annabelle and Nathan on their special day. Today we celebrate the love that they share between each other and God and we get a chance to share our love with them as well. Are you guys excited? Yeah, I know you two are. Lord Jesus, thank you for this day. Thank you just uh for your faithfulness. Um you know, we were two separate people but but now we come together as one flesh just as you commanded. Lord, you command us to to leave our mothers and fathers and and become one. Um, I just pray that what you bring together, Lord, you let no man separate. Um, it’s in my name, Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen. Amen. I will. I love you. I love you. See you at the altar. Okay. I can’t wait to see him though and like hold his hands. I search the world. You guys have shown me what it looks like to pursue in a godly manner and something that’s hard to find in this generation. Something that’s really hard. [Music] There will be mountain tops and valleys, but I hope you can count it all joy because you know who the true author of your story is and that he’s working all things together for your good and for his glory. Nathan Webb, do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife? I do. Annabelle, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband? I do. Praise God. There’s nothing better than you. There’s nothing. So, based on your shared commitment that you have promised to each other today, if you have gone and all of these witnesses, I now pronounce you husband and wife, mate, you may kiss your bride. Yes. [Applause] Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Music] Yeah. Heat. [Music] just having a partner for life is just so exciting. And so yeah. Yeah.
Annabelle and Nate’s love story began on a Zoom Bible study and grew into a relationship rooted in faith, tested by long distance, and refined through endurance. Their wedding at the French Lick Resort and Pete Dye Golf Course was a celebration of everything that defines their journey—faith, family, joy, and a shared love for golf.
From Annabelle’s emotional first look with her dad and brothers, to a private chip-shot moment with Nate before the ceremony, every detail reflected their story. Their Christ-centered ceremony at the Pete Dye Pavilion included a cord of three strands, a worship song led by close friends, and personal vows that spoke to the depth of their connection. Guests and family gathered to celebrate with heartfelt moments that carried from cocktail hour into the evening reception.
This French Lick wedding film captures more than just a beautiful day—it tells the story of two people who trusted God, endured the miles between them, and now stand together in a marriage built on faith, love, and joy.
For couples searching for a French Lick Resort wedding videographer or an Indiana wedding filmmaker who tells stories with heart and meaning, this film is a glimpse into what’s possible when a wedding day reflects both love and legacy.
