Tee off at The Amgen Irish Open 2025 is almost here, as The K Club will once again set the stage for Ireland’s most exciting golf tournament. Returning to The K Club’s Palmer North Course from September 3rd to 7th, the Amgen Irish Open offers five spectacular days of top-tier golf, festival atmosphere, music, and entertainment for all ages.

Celebrity Pro Am

Kicking off the week is the much-anticipated Celebrity Pro-Am tomorrow, (Wednesday September 3rd), offering fans a rare chance to catch their sporting heroes like Johnny Sexton, Tommy Bowe, Dan Sheehan and Josh van der Flier, fitness and lifestyle influencer Dearbhla Silke (formerly known as Belle Azzure), All-Ireland winners, Tipperary Hurling Captain Ronan Maher and Kerry footballers David and Paudie Clifford and RTE Sports Presenter Jacqui Hurley.

Celebrity Q&A’s – Rory McIlroy

Visitors can look forward to a Q&A with Masters Champion Rory McIlroy on Thursday 4th September after his round. Other celebrity Q&A sessions will take place on Saturday, 6th September with players from the Tipperary hurling team, Kerry football team, Galway camogie team, Dublin ladies football team and Lions players Tadgh Beirne and Dan Sheehan.

Grand Slam Activation

As part of the excitement at the Amgen Irish Open 2025, fans will have the rare opportunity to see Rory McIlroy’s Grand Slam trophies up close. The US PGA Championship, US Open, and The Open Championship trophies will be proudly on display in the Village, celebrating Rory’s incredible achievements this season. This exclusive activation will run for the duration of the tournament.

Golfers

The main event sees Rory McIlroy return to the site of his unforgettable 2016 win, following a landmark Grand Slam season that included his triumph at the 2025 Masters. He’ll be joined by a stellar line-up including 2019 Open Champion Shane Lowry, five-time Major winner Brooks Koepka, three-time Major winner Pádraig Harrington, PGA Tour winner Séamus Power, Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald, 2016 Masters champion Danny Willett, 2018 Open winner Francesco Molinari, 2018 Masters champion Patrick Reed, Venezuelan Jhonattan Vegas and American Ryan Gerard.

Family Fun / Music 

This year’s event promises an unforgettable festival atmosphere both on and off the course, with a packed schedule of live music, family entertainment, immersive fan experiences, and premium food and drink across the Championship Village.

Live music will bring the grounds to life across the weekend, with legendary Irish band The Stunning taking to the main stage on Saturday, September 6th, performing fan favourites like Brewing Up a Storm. On Sunday, September 7th, Simple Things will close out the festival with a vibrant mix of pop, rock and soul anthems.

For younger fans, the Irish Open offers family-friendly fun all week. The Kildare Lawn at the 16th Hole will host the biggest Kids Zone in tournament history, complete with bouncy castles, face painting, balloon modelling, storytelling sessions, mini stages, and live performers. The zone is conveniently located in the Kildare Lawn, allowing parents in hospitality areas to keep an eye on the fun. Children under 15 go free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Elsewhere, fans can step into the future at The Academy, where PGA professionals offer interactive coaching and tips, and at The Arcade, a virtual reality and gaming area perfect for teens and young adults.

Beat the Pro

At the heart of the action at the Arena on the 12th hole, from Thursday to Sunday, fans can enjoy a lively atmosphere with music playing throughout the day. Attendees have the chance to win daily prizes. The highlight comes on Saturday with the thrilling Beat the Pro activation, where amateur golfers take on the Par 3. Pre-registration is required to participate, with top pros joining the competition, offering a unique opportunity to test skills against some of the world’s best golfers.

Food & Drink

Food and drink lovers are in for a treat with a wide range of artisan food trucks at the scenic Liffey Bar on the 8th. Over at The Lawn on 16th, visitors will find premium wine, a champagne bar and platter service. Guests in The Summer House can enjoy refreshing drinks and local platters while soaking up the atmosphere from the heart of the action.
