Harry Hall: whats in the bag

What golf clubs does PGA Tour winner Harry Hall use? We take a look at what’s in his bag.

When it comes to identifying professional golfers by their silhouette, no one cuts as unique a figure as Harry Hall.

The Englishman, born in Cornwall, stands at an imposing 6 feet 4 inches tall, even without the addition of his now signature flatcap. The look now so associated with him is inspired by his hometown hero Jim Barnes, a nine-time major champion in his day, including four modern Majors, including a US Open, British Open, and two PGA Championships.

With the only tournament missing from his collection being The Masters, Hall has made it his goal in the professional game to collect a green jacket for himself and complete the grand slam for his birthplace.

Harry has faced challenges in his golf to get to the place he’s now at, but having shown conviction in every attempt, there’s been some strong groundwork laid for him to try and achieve his dream.

Hall began his golfing journey on the windy links of West Cornwall Golf Club. A shorter course by most standards, Harry learned to become proficient with his iron play first and foremost, as his driver was seldom needed from most tee boxes to score well in the boot of England.

When he joined the University of Nevada to begin his college career, then, he found himself at something at a disadvantage compared to his classmates on the longer American courses.

Averaging only 270 yards on his drives, this would prove to be Hall’s first chance to apply his commitment to improving his trade. Working with the coaching team, Harry has increased his distance year on year, both in college and beyond, since turning pro, to now sit at just over 300 yards across all his driving stats.

The ability to turn a weakness into a strength is indicative of the Cornishman’s determination, as has been the case with his career so far, with Hall steadily moving up the tours and rankings to become one of the most interesting young talents on the PGA Tour.

Having won twice on the Korn Ferry Tour, at the Wichita Open and NV5 Invitational in 2021 and 2022, respectively, Harry has now settled into life on tour since earning his full playing privileges, including another win in the 2024 season.

At the ISCO Championship, the PGA Tour’s alternative event for non-qualifiers to The Open Championship, Hall fought his way into the Sunday playoffs after a difficult round four to challenge for the title against four other opponents, including tour stalwart Zac Blair.

Showing the same grit he’d already built his career on, Harry made a birdie on the 3rd extra hole to secure the title and achieve his first PGA Tour victory.

Since then, he’s continued to push himself forward into stronger and stronger positions, with 22/25 cuts made in the 2025 season, including five Top-Tens and totalling over $4,000,000 in earnings, achieving his maiden start at the Tour Championship.

Hall showed his increasing class around East Lake, with some superior iron play allowing him to meet a final score of 9-under par and a tie for 17th in the FedEx Cup.
