What a Round!! (Palmer Coolum)

Good day shoppers. Here at Palmer Coolum has hosted 10 or 11 Australian PGA tournaments. So it’s a championship layout. It’s not a resort. From the drunk footage, this place looks unbelievable. Feel like we got the course to ourselves today. And I reckon I could go low. I have a feeling. Huh? Yep. We’re going to go off the members TE’s. I know I’m not going off the blacks, but I mean if you go off the blacks, then save some women for the rest of us, you know. Right. 337 m par 4 dog legs left slightly uh water left. It doesn’t matter. We’re not going there. We’re going straight down the guss. First swing of the day. Oh, score predictions. What do you think you’re going to have? Uh, one under. Hilly, what do you reckon, mate? One under. One over. Okay. Yep. Have a bit left of what I wanted to do, but I think I’m okay. Uh 74 to go. I think I’ve hit this bit of an ups slope, so this is going to go bloody high. Going to launch it up in the air. Red rest. Bit long. It’s quite hard to work out what that’s going to do cuz you feel like you’re going like to try and hit low off bat. Not happening. Greens actually look pretty slick. It felt like a bit harder on the foot. Um, all right. Come on. Let’s start with something good here with Harvey. No. Gave it a run. It’s good. I’m starting to get the hang of it. I think that’s what I got to do is stick with something longer than 3 weeks. Two get more than two videos out of one putter and practice. Eh, uh, second hole. Gorgeous parath three down the hill. 150 m from here. Um, makes it hard to guess the club, but I got a nine eye and I think that is spot on. Little bit of water to the right. Hey. Hey. Nearly. It’s a bit of water. Shot, mate. Shot, mate. We won’t make a big song and hoo-ha dance about it, but got nearery. All right, we’ve got a birdie putt again. Just keep doing this all day. It’ be a lot less stressful. Green and regs birdie chances. Get a couple straight to the pub. Celebrate an underpar round here at Palmer Cool. Just maybe like two maximum three holes in the bunda. Snappy with a sand wedge onto the green. Happy to see that. Okay. But yeah, not not too much of it. You want the boring golf to happen today? Yep. Ready for it. All right, it’s been a while. Oh my god. I reckon I’ve done that 24 times this trip in the draws. Just short. Happy for a tap in par, though. All right. Stays even. I don’t mind that at all. I can do that all day. Do you want to have a putt? I’ll have a look. All right. [Applause] One under. I’m only going to play that one hole and I’m one under. That’s fine. Big fan of the putter. You like it? Big fan. I’m starting to get the feel. I think it just I All I did was just went back forth. The putter did everything. I just went back forth. I’ve probably one of the worst advertisements for the putter so far on this trip, but starting to turn the corner. Like I said, stick with it. Yeah. I like it. Just go straight back and straight through. Uh 452 m par 5, but I can’t see. Just goes over that hill. There’s something straight straight over the kangaroo. Do you reckon there’s water I’m going to reach or something that people know about and I don’t right now. Pretty good. It Yeah. Wide of the tree line. Y play with um Staltzy. I don’t know if that video that video would come out. Just like a seasoned vet that just play and play. Didn’t hit it long. I probably got him by 30, but inside 100. It’s just like it made me feel like an 18 hand capper. It’s probably the difference between a scratch and 18 hand capper from inside 100. Honestly, it’s hoping we’ve got the right club. Yeah. It’s all right. makes it exciting. Uh but now you’ve got like not much left in on a path. Yeah. If I can swing though, that tree looks like it’s it’s goes. Oh, look. You can see people climbing up Mount Rushmore right up the top there. Oh, the Himalayas. See him, Hilly? Yeah. That looks like a brutal walk. You can Hilly and we’ll wait here for you. Oh no. You want to snap a club. Oh, we’re in trouble probably. All right. 63 m. But got a little branch in me way. And that pin looks like there’s no room up there. We’ll have a look. Short. I went through the tree, didn’t I? Oh, dear me. I’m struggling on these parath fives, man. Get up. Get up. Get up. Get up. Stay there. Stay there. Stay there. Stay there. I’m having a nightmare on the paths, man. That’s a That’s a tough pin. Uh, double bogey par five. Absolutely horrendous in the par five this trip. Just can’t get it together. They keep getting me. Okay. Uh, bit of water on this hole. What do you reckon? 200 club to the just left of the bunker. 210. If it rolls out 230, you’re laughing. Okay. In play. Avoiding bunkers. Let’s go. Spot on. All right, that’s better. I think you got a lot of that two iron. That was before. Was it? That’s sailing. Okay, I’ve got a roof. A bit angry to be honest. Little bit of angry there. Is it true this is the course where John Daly threw his putter in the water? I believe so. But we never have facts here. We’re just going to call that spot on. Rolling with it. Y I thought we were going that way. It’s 105, but then downwind smoothie. Smoothie sandwich. Good. Oh, I can’t. That was just like a smooth swing. Felt pretty good. Nice. Relaxed on one beer seems to help me. We’ll make it too. We’ll make it. Yes. It felt good. It was a I did the smoothie. That’s your closest approach you’ve had in 3 years of YouTube. I was closing with the driver at bloody Pelican. Right. There’s actually a chance here, Jolly. This is bounceback sort of stuff. You know, this is why they come to watch Ron. They know I start terribly, but I’ve got this bounce back ability. I’m thinking this is pretty straight. I keep allowing for too much and I keep leaking it. So, that’s Let’s hit one in. Andre this morning said, “These Queensland greens need a firm putt. Don’t let them take your soft ball away. Ram them in.” Okay. Oh, here we go, boys. Hilly, let’s get amongst the poisons. That’s That’s the first bit of golf I’ve played since I’ve been in Queensland. Day four. We’re on a mission to get to 100. Uh you’ll see some funky golf. You’ll see some good golf. That’s what it’s all about. If you could, that would be amazing. Um what are we at now? 60 nearly 63. 60 odd thousand. It’s uh a lot of people watch the videos and don’t even realize they’re not subscribed. It’s free. Believe it or not, it is free. Tell your mom. Tell any women in your life to jump on board the Ron train. Okay. 155 blue TE’s. 173. What have I said? What was that? 153. Okay. We’re playing up forward. We’re on the blue TE’s. I didn’t make it up. 155. This is an eight. This is an eight. Let’s back it up without swing. It was very relaxed. Like really calm. Just like how a golf a good golfer would feel when they play golf. Not stressed or freaking out. Good. Long back in the shade. Oh, that was all over in the air, too. Yep. Was your heart rate going up? Same. Over the green. Just on that hole out. You have to you just have to wait like until you can see like red on there like otherwise it can wait for me. You know how many of them I get cut off too early. Yeah. So just now say what you’re going to say. I don’t want him. That was all over it in the air. I don’t know. I like that’s pretty good. It’s got a bit of bend in it. I’m figuring it out. It’s taken a couple of days, but I’m starting to get the hang of it. These greens are unreal. Every course we’ve played so far, they do well. The green keepers. Yeah, it 220 carry to the bunker. [Laughter] Oh, that is just the worst sloppy swing. Oh. Oh, catch him, daddy. I’m going to hit a proy. We’ll find you first. How about Oh, that’s from a first. I am. That is warm. I know it hit the path, but it deserved everything it got. It’s hit the tree and then you have just How can you go and just like hit a make a birdie, flush one over the green, and do that golf? Yeah. Such a stupid sport. Let’s go play more. If it comes in, it’s fine. A bit of a lash. It was a bit of a lash. Wow. Is this par five? Yep. What is happening with the par fives? It’s my bloody kryptonite at the minute. Right. I uh I am hanging on on this hole. But we’ve got to look at the green. On the green, we escape. We got 133, but into the wind. So, I’m going to hit an eight. That’s going to be smooth. This will be a lovely swing. It’s going to be gorgeous. Fade a bit. Fade a bit. Hold. Hold. Sit. That did not That wind did not do anything then. Jolly. Straight through it. Straight under it. I mean, if I’m going to par holes like this all day, I’m going to be shattered. This is working man’s par golf right now. That’s it. Ram at home. Yeah, I know. It’s weird that I’m actually putting better, but then the rest of the game’s gone. Like, just put it all together. Why is that so hard? If you could, you’d be on tour, mate. You reckon? Oh, stable food. I don’t know if this is the play, but I’m also I want to have a crack. And this is the three what I can normally draw. So, I’m going to have to give it me best draw. All right. So, I’m going to just just miss that corner of that tree with a draw, I reckon. Oh, it kicked out. It kicked out. Now I look like I hit a seven on out to the middle of the fairway. It’s a win. I just turned it over too quickly. Perfect layup here. 96 m in. Clear shot straight at the Himalayas in the background. Oh, Joel wanted me to hit like a 69 7 on here and I said, “No, I’m going through.” So I we I met him halfway and now I’m here. Did you get it bouncing off the tree? Yeah. Yeah. Just hit that same shot all the time, but it’s coming back and it’s going to razledazzle. Raz bit long. I reckon that was a uh that’s a divot there, Ronald. Divot. Uh, for all the punters at home as well, do you just want to show them how you fix your divots once and then we don’t have to put it in for the rest of the video because it’s a very long boring part of the video. He chops them in, puts a bit of sand down, give it a stamp. Robert’s your father’s brother. What? Bob’s your uncle. Oh, right. And the gravy gives us a bit. What’s happen? We hit the green. Bit of excitement. Oh, yeah. Hilly’s obviously a low handicapper, so if I’m not putting it to a foot, we’re getting nothing. Hilly’s an actual golfer. Yeah. And uh Yeah. like missing greens and being 20 foot away from a pin with a wedge. I want a hands up. I want the old Come on. We sell him in 20 foot. We want a little Oh, you want some uh Where’s standing? Is it on is over the back? Can you If it’s still jump around. Okay. All right. Yeah. Sorry. Give us something. I need a bit of like fist pump. Okay. I know you would put it close up, but give me something, mate. [Applause] Oh, nothing happened. That was I thought I got one. Don’t mind those putts of par. Starting to get the pace. But stroke feels better. One over. I feel like I’ve had 15 over. This is hard work. All right, eighth hole. 338 m. So, just got to get one in play. Avoid those bunkers and then like an uphill little shoot. All right, come on. Golf swing Ronald. It’s not feeling great. Looks loose. Does it look loose? Yes. Feel a bit loosey goosey. Yeah. I I don’t know how I didn’t even watch it. Did you use it? Did it show it bouncing in? I stop cuz that’s hard to believe. I’ll call I’m going to be the first person to call this car, but I’m fine. Um, it does feed down from the tree. This is where you’re going to miss a golf. 176 on a 180 m hole. 176 winds up your bum, but you’ve got uphill shot. How is that long? How was that long? Wasn’t that long? Roll back down a little bit. All right. Yeah. That was a line. It’s not the length. They don’t go in with any gusto, do they? They just the best way to describe me, your pun at the minute. Right. 200. No. 361 m par4. Bit of water on the left. Couple of kangaroos in front of me. Bit of pressure. Might tear it up a bit higher. Jolly. Had a bit of life to this one cuz that kangaroo’s got my name written all over it. We can’t do that. All right. Come on. What am I? One over. It’s a It’s a It’s It’s It’s a tough one over. Go left a bit. Go left a bit. Go left a bit. Go left a bit. Go left a bit. Yes. Yes. Tempo dot. Yeah. Kangaroos, mate. Oh, okay. All right. I’ll go over here, mate. um while uh Joel answers some fan mail. Um Golf and Getaways helped us out getting here and I think they are setting up a uh a tour. So if you like to come and play where we have played, you can go full hog like we didn’t play these crazy amount of golf in one week or you can just pick the ones you like. But the boys at golf and getaways will be to get out your flights accommodation, get your bookings in and um you just have to rock up and have a good time. We just spent 2 minutes looking for Chopper’s pitching wedge and we’re about to consider going back to when he used it last. It was on my It was resting on my leg. He’d already pulled it out and it was sitting on the bag. Um I think pitching wedge. I’m hitting pitching wedge. We’re getting fatigued. Oh. Oh. Oh. Like not a blade of grass. I have this thing where I’m getting to the top of my swing and I’m thinking about something rather than just hitting it and trying to be blank. I’m blank now. Not mid swing. 54. Nice and close. Tap it in. Get out of here. Yes. Sit. Sit. Sit. Oh, it just wants it just trickles a bit more than it needs to stop next to the hole. It’s not hard. It’s not hard. Oh, look at the plane. Wait, red bombs are back on. Once again, vomited into the hole, didn’t it? Just what we’re going to call it. I vomited those into the hole. One over. It wasn’t pretty, was it? No. Energy for the back N. Yep. We need some energy. Couple of vodka Red Bulls. Vodka Red Bulls. Double shots and we’ll just push through. Oh, no. I’ve done it again. She’s vaping. She’s a big fan. Big fan. No. Yeah. No, we’re good. 10th hole. I remember when we were doing the drone footage, you said this was an unreal looking hole. Yep. It’s my favorite. Your favorite? My favorite. I remember the green. Yeah, I can see it. Yeah, this has a great green. But let’s get the first part done. We’re going to hit three wood down the guts, I think, in play. Hook, hook, hook, hook, hook, hook, hook. Oh, that’s perfect. Keep hooking. Keep hooking. Keep hooking. I think that’s perfect. I do hit this well sometimes, don’t I? Sometimes maybe good. Sometimes maybe. All right, that was spot on. But now I’ve got to have a crack. Hit it. 200 odd meters and I can’t go right. Here we go. We’re having a go. That was very heavy. But we’re safe. It’s like a drain here. So, this is where all the water comes. No doubt. I’m right in the middle of it. It felt wet. Um I didn’t realize the water cut in. I thought it was just here. I’m lucky. But now I’ve got to play. Is that to left? I reckon it comes in little fairly shot. No idea how far the little feel shot was. 54. Look at that. Come on. Little slinger. Terrible chip. Bit EPA. Got a blade of grass. No sand bucket was brought over. Okay. Oh, that had it. I thought I could see it too. Jolly. Ah, part of par five. Congratulations, Ronald. First time in a while. One over path still. And then we go over this other bridge over another body of water. Okay, let’s make some birds. Going in or it’s not going in. If you put this within 10 ft. Yep. I’ll shout dinner. Yep. 130. Smooth the swing. It’s going to get a 9. Smooth it in there. Go left a bit. Go left a bit. Oh, it’s leaking right. It looks long, dude. Getting enough again. Your shout. I hit it well. A very good strike. Yeah, just just didn’t move. I feel like it’s pretty long. One time. One time. Yes. Yes. Oh, thank God that went in. That was humming. All right. All right. Hey, that has taken ages for that to happen. Back to square. Feeling good. Yes. You know, the only time you’ve hold a putt from more than 10t is from off the green. Yep. Yesterday and today. Second best putter from off the green. That’s right. Second best. Second. Par five over 500 m. Very straight. Is there any water? Do you remember? No, there’s no water. Oh, this is going only on the right. Okay. Right. Big chest turn. Good. Adam, stop posture. Stay there. Stay there. Stay there. You go around that tree. Yep. What do you reckon’s there, though? I think it opens up, mate. I hope so. We think we’re right. Um, so you want to tell me what you just found out? Uh, I’ve just opened up the app, mate. And uh, the water’s on the left. Sorry. Oh, no. I’m here. Is that me? No. Got it. Yep. I think. Is that poisonous? Strawby strawby. Is that poison? I don’t know. I’m not in America. Um, close. I just have to hack it over there. Get to it. Ah, you can just play your short. Oh, that’s not legal. Surely. [Music] Yep. Doing that. I thought you were trying to catch it. Catch him, Derry. I just felt like I was playing a little cover drive, so I just instincts took over. Quick single. You were slow at the other end, though, I reckon. Yeah. Ran out. Ran out. Halfway down the pitch, right? 141. This is par five, isn’t it? Oh, that wind’s up. Okay. It was 141, but I reckon it’s pitching now. The wind’s gone. Down. I just caught that. I just flushed it. I flushed it. And I hooked it as well. I stopped watching cuz that really tail off. I turned my back and it just kept going that way. Yeah. Bit of work to be done again and again. Pretty good. Pretty good. Yep. All right. Another par five. What am I over for par five this trip? I’d say about fiveish. Y wow. Wow. All right. 321 m par 4 and very tasty. Straight as a dice. Die. What is that? What is that? A dye. Um I could be wrong here, but I believe a dye is what you will hang from a roof like a plum. A dye is what uh you as I’m saying that. Um no, that’s back yourself in that. Am I correct? Not close. No. What’s a dye? Die is like what machinists use for like a straight edge. That’s what I said. Straight as a golf course. Right. Coming up. All right. Here we go. What? What did you say? We learned something then. Uh I think I’m going to Google it. Okay. Everything’s wrong. Yeah. Yeah. Come on. Oh my goodness. Come on. Oh, good drive. That like a That’s the best one I’ve hit today. No, it’s not. No, no, no. Today at on this course. Okay. Yes. Yeah, cuz I hit an absolute one of Nearly had a hole in one this morning on a par four. Nearly. Are you researching me, Matt? Yeah, I am. Cuz I just know he’s going to be right. I’m wrong. I haven’t been right on a single thing this whole trip. Yeah. Straight as a dye typically refers to fabric, specifically satin, that has been dyed to a uniform consistent color. Everybody’s wrong. Hilly’s wrong. I’m wrong. No, I hadn’t had a go yet. Yeah, you learn. Is that what you were going to say? I uh I think it’s something to do with coloring. Right. 50 m into the wind. Leg back. It’s a nice shot here, Ron. Oh, I hit that. Okay, too. Like I did what I thought I just like a meter short of my mark. Bugger. Now we need to do some good stuff to make a par. What a stupid game. Ah, well short now I’m down here. All right, come on. Mate, I’m pushing you for best putter from off the green. Nope. Not even close. Yeah, I reckon. Not even close. Stiffed it. Not even close. Like I’ve got world’s best putter from the rough in my bio on Instagram. I don’t I can write anything in mine. Yeah, but it’s not that, is it? I hit drive straight as a die. Uh, once again, nearly a 500 me par five. little stalty fade. If you don’t know what a stalty fade is, you need to go watch the video of me and Stalty cuz that bloke hit the same shot for the whole video. Would love that in my wheelhouse. No, I hit it straight as a dart. Good drive. Yes. Bit thinny one, but I’ll take that. I think Hilly’s out driven. Out drive me? Yep. Hilly just popped one down the middle, but I gave him a lesson. So, you’re welcome. Thank you. Appreciate it. Oh, you’ve done him. Oh, it depends what angle you going. I don’t know. We’ll say one. We got him tied. I reck Oh, you call him that angle. Chucky, right? 242 m. I’m not going to even ask you what’s down there, Jolly. But we’re having a lash with the 3-wood. We’re getting out, Bobby. And we’re putting a nice swing on it. Hold the pose. Twist in the hole. Stays are d. All right, here we go. Every now and then I’ll play golf. No. Keep going. Keep going. Oh my goodness. I just can I like I’m ecstatic. I just wish I could do that all the time because my good and bad is like probably as big a space of anyone I know. I reckon I can do that and I can top a two on. That was unreal though. You like that, Hilly? Your turn, buddy. Go on. Not so easy, is it, buddy? Not so easy. That’s a pretty good shot, actually. Oh, not bad. Hilly, that would have been good in any other first cut. Yeah, buddy. Good shot. Yeah, thanks much. Not so easy. Much from man. Give me the coffin. [Laughter] hit the Yeah. You want to have a whack of it? No. Wow. I’m happy with that. That’s your best approach from over 200 by a mile in the last 6 months. Mhm. All right, let’s calm down with all the uh how long it’s taken me to do it. This is just a little bit left to right, but I’m going to I’m going to get it there. No, I hate that leaky one that goes right. So, just get it there. I’ve had two eagles today. That’s two eagles for the day. Well done, mate. One on this video, but I think two under. They’re both very impressive eagles, but an eagle too, I think, probably takes the cake. Yeah. Two under. This is good. Are you two under? Two under now. I have not been paying attention. Wow. Cuz it looks like I’m eight over. I know. I know. 102 m. This is a green light special. Just going to get my 54 and just take a nice full swing at it. Just straight. I can’t believe I’m two under emotionally. I’m eight over. I’d love to just go keep going. Keep going. I’d love to see a holding one. Okay. Yep. All right. Here we go. left. It’s a nice shot. I’m pretty happy with the greening rig, though. Yeah, I know. I had the hole in one of me ears. I was thinking about that. Not using the line is, I think, the way to go for me. It’s helped with a short one. So, I’m going to try it on a bit of a longer one. Come on. This is nice pies. It’s quite nice. Yeah. Just smashed it. Just smashed it. I wanted it too much. And the vomit putt back in. It’s It is, isn’t it? It’s like It just catches the edge all the time. I had to go. I had to have a go. I had to have a go. Joel. Yeah. Can we check if I’m too under? Cuz I don’t think it’s wrong. I feel like I’ve stuffed up somewhere. I think because I’ve just been hitting it so far away, it’s too putting. It’s not exciting, but it’s passed. Yeah. There’s no They’re not bogeies. Yes. Yeah. All right. 16th hole. Two on par. 69. Right. Hole 16. 332. She dog legs. She snaps hard. I think I got like two iron little draw it around. wedge in. Oh, that missed that three by centimeters. I think that’s really good. Keep going. Keep going. Oh, that’s primo. Yes. I’m getting pretty tired, but this is helping. Three holes to go. Come on, Jolly. So like I use this for this exact reason right now. So you got 90 m, right? So I go 90 and it is in the fat part of the green and it looks like you can afford to go long 10 long and 10 short. So left is safe. Yep. And 90 is your number and you’d probably rather be long. Okay. Yeah. You’re trying to be a caddy. You want me to be You imagine a video where I you have to do what I say. I actually reckon you’d go. All right. Sometimes. Do we do that tomorrow? Do you want to? Yep. Let’s change it up. Break your path and you I’ll put a big bib on you. [Music] Like proper try and be a PJ tour style caddy. Yes. Okay. I’m keen. Wedges and distances. I’m I’m not the best with, but at like 90 m I’m hitting 54 now. It’s like a smoothie. Yeah. Okay. I just hit 100 on the last hole. So, yeah. This looks slightly uphill, but I’m also shorter than you, so I don’t know. Sit down a bit. Looks long. No. Thumbs up. That looked long in the air, didn’t it? It hung up there. Yeah, but it went straight down the old pipe. The good has been good. Yeah. Yeah. I’m excited for tomorrow. Punch up. Maybe I feel like tomorrow will be good because now you have someone to blame. Yep. Hey, tap in. Tap in. Tap in. Tap in. Why aren’t you getting fired up? There you go, Hilly. Wait, hold on. Hilly, give us another one. Give us a shake. What is he to? And I went in the middle of the hole that time as well. Mhm. Three under. Bit of golf in the last three holes. Yep. Far out. I’ve got to be a ticker. We came up with a great idea for tomorrow. Joel’s going to caddy for me and decide every shot I hit. Oh, I like that. Yeah. Like I can’t argue either. Yeah. Shoot. Well, you probably can argue, but you can’t I can’t I have to still do it. Yeah, I like that. Yep. That’s cool. 83 off the stick. Yeah, there are. I’m more worried that you like like you’ll be spot on. I like he’s teaching me something. Yeah, we we’re going to do this 18 holes in like an hour. Sorry, 2 hours 20 minutes or so. Maybe 2 and 1 half. What time is it? It’s 3:30. We teed off at 1 T off for three. Yeah, 2 and 1/2 hours to here. Two holes to go. Do you reckon I can throw this hacked up golf ball in the bin? I’ve got a good arm on me. Gone. You got to go higher than you think cuz it’s going to drop quick. That’s the best shot of the day. What you just did. All right. 180 m par three. Pin looks tucked on the right. 180. That tree feels like it’s in the way. 180. Okay. Let’s practice tomorrow. 180. What are you giving me? Um, well that I don’t really know what your clubs are. I’m Should I write down like what I think my clubs maybe I’m going to say something like a five iron because the wind should be in from that distance. Very good. Yeah, this could work tomorrow. And if you’re trying to figure out what video it went when we play a course called Melanie. So, if you’re trying to figure out how this ended up and uh it’s called Melanie that we played, what’s going on, John? What is going on? I’m on a run at the minute. What a finish. I don’t I thought I was getting tired. No. What is happening? That didn’t leave it. You know when you have like an old lawn mower or like an old car or something and just before it dies it comes good again and you’re thinking I’m not going to get rid of it. I’ll just keep it a little bit longer. You think I’m dying? I don’t know, man. Wow. But you you you’ve just shown one hot last streak so people keep watching. Yeah. Quad on the last. Yeah, I know. Oh, bugger. Bugger. Oh, bugger. Oh, what I was thinking about was like my best score on the channel. I was thinking a four. Yeah, last hole part five cuz I gobbled them up. I think it’s a four. Gears car’s broken down. I’ve got the for sale sign ready to go. carsales.com 323 had a discussion with me Caddyy. We’re doing a practice run on the last two holes. He’s giving me five iron to get it in play. And then we got a full shot in. Got a part of the uh the record for the channel. Bloody exciting. I’m a bit nervous. I’ll be honest. 5. The comment on the 18th “you can’t park there” brought back a memory & made me chuckle

Last time I played there, on the other side of the water on the right of the 18th, a groundsman was standing on the edge, scratching his head, staring at his half submerged Green keepers ride-on mower that he’d somehow dumped in the water …

He didn’t find it funny when my playing partner called out “you can’t park there, mate !!”

    😂😂

  13. Played there numerous times over the years (25 years ago) they have reversed the 9s since . You playing a LOT of short tees , from my memory .
(& have run Mt Coolum many times in the almost 20 years I lived there .)
