  1. Probably the safest possible picks. Looks good, let’s go!

It’s the top 11 + Rahm. It feels very safe, but I guess on the flip side Bob, Hatton, Fitzpatrick, and Viktor were all leftfield picks who have worked their way into the top 11 this time, so if no one has caught his eye in a similar way somehow fair enough.

The fact that we can (almost) run back the same team without any big controversies is pretty cool. I have confidence in this team.

The team basically picked itself but i think Straka is very lucky to get a pick… Absolutely no form and plenty vying for that 12th spot.

  5. Pat_Mahomie

Is DP tour heavily weighted in auto picks? Trying to understand how Rasmus was an auto and Shane Lowry wasn’t

Let’s gooooo Ludvig! Make us proud!

  7. Swagsurfer04

    This is probably pretty good.

I love Hovland, but hasnt he been kind of out-of-form lately?

I feel like Europe is the better team overall going into Bethpage, but the atmosphere and setup should benefit the Americans. It will be interesting how it plays out.

  9. YodaForceGhost

Is that Legion XIII champions John Rahm and Tyrell Hatton?

  10. basic_cinephile

The team photo is gonna look the same because the only switch is the twins 😭 Let’s go Europe!!!

    Me as a USA enjoyer

Damn that looks like a tough team to beat

Team USA must be thrilled that Luke chose to bring back Fitzy with his 1-7-0 Ryder Cup record.

Just because he’s been on the team in the past doesn’t mean he should be on it any time he’s in the conversation. That’s the kind of nepotism that has hindered Team USA recently. Really wish Luke had tried something new with the final spot and gone with Wallace or Penge instead.

The rest of the team is brilliant, and I love Europe’s chances, even on foreign soil. I just wish they had gone a different direction with that final spot.

We will need biometric Hojgaard verification before every session.

Don’t you be a sneaky Pete and try to swap Nikolai in there.

As a Yankee, I’m sad that I gotta root against my boy Tommy Fleetwood, who has become my favorite golfer this year.

Maybe if the other US players step up, I could still root for Tommy. But I will say Europe’s roster for the Ryder cup looks pretty fantastic, honestly.

The expected outcome TBH. There’s always the nearly men more recently like Meronk. But it seems to be the best fit with the least amount of handbags.
Now they just have to deal with the dickheads and fucktards in America who always come out to disrupt. Half a beer and the American supporters are bolloxed!! Bring it on.

That’s a great team. We got some work to do on the US side.

  18. billionthtimesacharm

damn that team is stacked! congrats in advance on the victory lol

  19. CostaIdiot

Hope USA crowd comes up with something better than GET IN THE HOLE.

  20. Numerous_Nature_6326

Another strong Euro squad, should be a great competition!

  21. Infinite_Ground1395

So many likeable guys on the squad. I’m American but will find it damn near impossible to cheer against any of these guys individually.

  22. MintyMarlfox

Solid team. Would have probably picked Wallace over Fitzpatrick, but totally understand picking Fitzy.

  23. The strongest team available. Still think USA will be much too strong on home soil.

  24. magic_spurtle

Anyone else think Straka looks like he’s just wearing a collar?

  25. Fer_Shizzle_DSMIA

Looks pretty formidable. Hoping for a meaningfully and tense Sunday afternoon instead of the blowouts we have seen recently.

  26. Thick-Material-5675

I see comments about Victor or Fitzpatrick being the weak link on the European side, but I feel Lowry has been underperforming/ most inconsistent this year

  27. The selection show was soooo much better than the USA. They seem to do everything right. The uniforms are always wayyyy better too.

  28. dtcstylez10

I mean on paper, this does not look like it’ll be close. If this was in Europe, I think USA gets smoked.

    Team USA right now

  30. Laragon20

Gutted for Harry Hall, man has been on a run to try to make this team.

  31. DrewLockIsTheAnswer1

It’s like the US team but more likeable and educated.

  32. Lor_azepam

Harry hall chilling at 11th in the data golf rankings, still snubbed. I know euro team is all sunshine and roses and does no wrong, but seems like they got there own boys club

  33. Fantastic_Owl3658

I think we can all agree that Fitz is the weakest link – though playing well down the stretch he’s been horrible in Ryder Cup.

Straka has had some personal matters impact his golf game the second half of the year, Rory has been very inconsistent (feel mostly due to driver), Rahm has been struggling in non-LIV events, and then Lowry has had a quiet two months here. So not everyone firing on all cylinders.

That said, I still think the Euro team has more consistent players that excel at what BPB requires – off the tee and approach. It won’t be a blowout but I still lean Euros 16-12.
