This whole golf thing might just run in the Woods family.

Charlie Woods, who is the son of golfing legend and 15-time major champion Tiger Woods, turned heads with an incredible shot in Sunday’s round at one of the sport’s most iconic venues.

The younger Woods drained a hole-in-one at the third hole of TPC Sawgrass in Sunday’s round at the Junior Players Championship:

The hole-in-one was a bright spot in what has been a relatively inconsistent tournament for Woods.

He shot a four-over 76 in the first round with seven bogeys and three birdies and then followed that with a three-over 75 in the second round. His second round was steadier with 15 pars, but he mixed in two double-bogeys to go with a birdie.

Sunday was the final round of the event, and he started in similar fashion to his first round with three birdies and three bogeys during his first nine holes. He also followed the hole-in-one with a double-bogey.

Still, the hole-in-one was an incredible moment in what has been a noteworthy year for Woods.

In May, he notched his first American Junior Golf Association when he shot a six-under 66 in the last round of the Team TaylorMade Invitational. Earlier this month, he finished in the top 10 at the 2025 Junior PGA Championships.

As for the Junior Players Championship, everyone was playing catch up on Miles Russell during the early portion of the last round.

Russell, who is from nearby Jacksonville, Florida, took the solo lead through the second round after he shared the lead following the first round. If he can finish atop the leaderboard, he will become the first two-time champion of the event.

Russell also won the 2023 tournament.
