Twin Bridges Golf Course – Par 72

►The 2025 Indy Speedgolf Open was a smashing success! Back at Twin Bridges Golf Course, we are set for a great day!
A beautiful morning for Run Hit and Repeat!
►Nick ‘The Pink Streak’ Evans elects to play with just 1 club, the Q!
And with hosting, coordinating, camera work AND trying to play, I was rushed to get on the tee box ready to go.
What I neglected though was teaching Andrew how to camera and my Mom Jerri even 1 bit of golf cart etiquette on the course! We are doing it LIVE! Their first time scoring/spotting and chasing me around the golf course, what an adventure!
We all got our driver’s license, cameraman certification and golf lessons from Goodwill!
Speedgolf Baby, Let’s Go!
►This Year we had much warmer weather but nature is consistent and dropped another 2 inches of rain the day before our event. No roll drives and lightning fast undulated greens made for subtly tough conditions. These are our Speedgolf Stories!

Jason Hawkins kicked off the 2025 Indie Speed Golf Open defending champion and I’m up next. Speed golf, baby. Let’s go. Speed golf, baby. That’s my mom over there. Already heckling me. Not doing it. No. Four minutes in counting. All right, you know the drill. My name’s Nick Evans. Clubs do you have today? I’m a recovering regular golfer and I’m playing just the queue. One club. First time I’m ever going to play a full round. Why speed golf? The best sport out there merges running and golf. Golf’s best sport already. Love fitness. Love getting it done fast. I’m hyper efficient anyway. I love it. Uh, ask ask Farah. She’s got it. How about Farah today? Absolutely crushing it. 15 seconds doing the timekeeping, doing interviews and camera work. And to all the other volunteers, awesome job everybody crushing it. Our second tournament ran so smooth today. Thank you. or golf, baby. Let’s go. Hold on tight. We got some ups and downs, lefts and rights, and some wild sound bites. And we get right into it. I already drop on the first tea. We lost the ball. My mom’s scoring for me this year. It’s her basically her first time ever on a golf course driving. And my friend Andrew with the GoPro. Get your driver’s license. Good makes sense. Goodwill driver’s license. I wasn’t able to give him any cart etiquette pre-round or instructions on how to spot and score. We’re doing this live. Speed golf, baby. Let’s go. I love it. I gave him open season to heckle me and they they waste no time. Oh, man. He can’t be missing those. Can’t be missing those. Tap in for Bogey on the first hole. Off to the par five second. Don’t lose this one. Apologies for the wind. It was 20 25 mph gust out there. Pretty sustained by the end of the round. It’s a pretty hole and a pretty tough hole. It meanders down through the the woods. Find it. Yeah. Damn it. Chunked my second shot. Just trying to lay up. Ends up working out back in the middle of the fairway. And Andrew getting his steps in. Already breathing hard. Did it not get over there? It’s right there. [Music] Not looking good. But I launch it up over the trees off to the right side. Yep. Can’t see it. You’re breathing too heavy already. I am too, but I’m allowed to. I didn’t condition for this. We’ll play off each other. Come back in. I didn’t condition for it. Shh. Don’t tell. Me either. Not a good chip. Putting it so far past that led to a couple of extra strokes and time. Good grief. [Music] The greens today were so speedy. Where you at? I’ll take a seven. Another ball. Run across the creek to the short par 4 hole three. Drivable. [Music] Maybe 250 240. You can see that one. It’s in the shade. You don’t have very many more balls to lose. And he can’t hit the two that you’re carrying. This guy. I got country club adjacent adjacent out here chasing me around. And I want to revise my answer of why speed golf. With the entry fee, you’re essentially renting the golf course all to yourself for an hour or however long it takes you to finish the round. It’s such an incredible freeing experience. No one in front of you, no waiting, the most ready golf possible. Just amazing. Looking for a ball every hole so far. This one ends up in a puddle. Casual water drop. We had 2 in of rain the night before, but I made a mess of that hole. Not sure what the camera guy did. He made a mess, too. We’re teeing off on hole four. That took a bogey from there. Right at the edge of the water. All that 50 60 yards of room left. I hit it into the water. Of course I do. Of course, four holes in. Already lost a couple balls and searched two or three other times. This isn’t your ordinary round of golf. This is an absolute adventure. Do a quick search of the edge. If it’s not sitting up, there’s just no reason to try. waste any extra time. Just drop and go. Hit one, drop two, hit three. So, I’m about to hit four. A nice bunker right in front of the green. Oh, no. So, I’m right at 150. Yeah. See, there’s 15 or 20 feet in between the bunker and the green. Am I bumping run? Ran, ran, ran, ran, and ran. Need to settle into this round. Heck yeah. All right, I hit that putt for a bogey. The short par three, hole five. I put it about 15 ft above the hole. Missed the birdie putt, but tap in for my first par. Is this your first time playing golf or second? Second par three. Let’s go to the T- box on the iconic hole number six. A short dog leg left par four guarded heavily up the left side by a pond and that gnarly grouping of trees. Naturally, I’m behind those trees. Oh boy. Don’t hit the branch and cut it. Good luck. Don’t hit the tree either. I did it. Oh, he got it. Okay, I have to cut it back into the wind over the pond. So, I think Andrew kept turning the camera off. They were heckling me ingame, but they’re some of their conversations. Not safe for work. Can’t have those two miked up for a familyfriendly golf channel. I’m going to have to edit that out. Dang it. Nice one, Nick. This is a familyfriendly channel. Get down. Damn it. Don’t go on the green. These This is the only spot you can’t go on. Back up. Back up. Back up. That’s a mini heart attack right there. Fixing my divot and that great job. Good shot. Came from way too close over there. You just have to believe us. That birdie went in. He stopped the recording. Thanks, buddy. Wow. You’re fired. Heard a good shot. But an amazing birdie from there. The only reason we have this footage is because of you. So you still have a job. You’re hired. Hole seven. Par three. Just missed the green. [Music] One, two, chipoo. Stop. All the way off. Really? You didn’t judge the grade right. My dad’s got a name for these. I just birdied that last hole. It’s called a PBF post birdie fudge up. [Music] Cousin Eli told you I can three or four putt from anywhere. Yikes. took a triple six and shame family the last one I might have got that one almost raining over long slow climb up eight par four sounding a little winded dude just short on my second shot I guess just like your shots get it in there little knock down Eight iron spinner. Heart rate and breathing are way too high to want to do anything delicate right now. Just trying to maintain control. Left edge. Damn. Left edge. Just short of the green on my second shot. Long par four. Hole nine. Going to need a little more pace out of you. Chipping up for three. I can’t count that high. So, boy, we can’t count at all as you’ll see soon. Unfortunately, I can aim at the hole. That’s been fun. Yeah, you’re not good at aiming in holes. I can fight on this one. Family friendly. [Music] Man, greens are so fast. Five. So, unfortunately, I called out fives to to Andy, but we got fours wrote down. So, I shot a 45 on the front. Nine over. I didn’t realize once I get to the end of a round, I my brain is blacks out the whole round. I remember almost none of my shots. And again, I’m not sure what happened to the T-OT and the second shot, but I get up next to the green chip on. How many? And I two putt for a bogey. Better than before. Number 11. This is a fun hole. The pond that runs 150 yards of the T-OT. The edge of the water is drivable if you can carry it about 260 270 in the air. I’ve only done it once. It was in a scramble and with a driver. Left myself about 200 out. I got it just to the front edge of the green. Chip it on up there with a nice looking par. Can’t be letting those slip by. Put it on the high side. Can’t go it. Oh my. That was close. Yikes. Five. Hole 12. Yeah. Oh, well, I already did that a few times, so you might have corrupted clips. And you got that birdie on that hole. Uh, about that. We’ll talk later. I might be fired. Who hired this camera guy? Come on, you can do it. [Music] You got to hit it better than that. a little bit stronger on that backstroke. This guy’s a savage. He’s muzzle flagging me in my back swings. Four and with his shadows. You want us to hit you so you can get a handicap and they can’t be trusted. I’m not turning my back on them anymore. Hey, don’t hit us. We’ve seen how you played already. Hole 13, par five. And if you try to cut the corner, a whole bunch of gnarly stuff. Old bunkers that they’ve turned into just wasteland. I think they forgot to put sand in this bank. Yeah, we can take it out of the free drop zones. That just seems like cheating. And of course, from there, I hit it in the tall thick grass. I ain’t running that far. Not even married and he lost his balls. Good thing you’re a landscaper. You can weed whack. I have to get this out of here. [Music] Get in there. Oh man, these greens are so fast. They’re wet. They’re all lubed up. You know about that loop. Got to give it Got to give it that. Well, that hole was an exhibition in hitting nothing good and making double bogey like you should. Blinded by the light. This is by far the most ridiculously enjoyable round of speed golf I’ve ever played. An absolute train wreck. No one can count. No one knows how to use cameras and nobody can drive right there. Nobody can putt. Holy. We can’t hear each other. Nobody can track a golf ball properly. What a disaster. Can’t see it. Sorry. You’re good. I’m just going to jump out. Oh. Oh. Oh. A it got pretty close. I get three puff from there, dude. That’s more That’s more like a five putt. Three puff from anywhere. Look at this shadow flagger. Got me again. Four. That’s a par four save right there. Oh boy. Love it. Last par three. Hole 16. Oh my god. Right at him. One of my best shots of the day. And this was a pin seeker. Just left it 15 or 20 ft short. Another good look at birdie. Is that three? [Music] Solid four. And a nice easy tap in par. Is that three? Three. Yay. Uhoh. Backwards. if it hasn’t already been an adventure. Let the games begin. Oh gosh, we’re going to flip. Oh yeah. Can’t find dragon. Yeah. Where are we going here? Where the hell you going, dude? Oh The one thing not to hit. Carts on path. Okay. Well, I will after I run that thing over. You don’t have to. Now it’s gone. We’re just dragging it behind us. Hopefully they don’t have cameras out here. Besides the one recording it, it’s all downhill from here. It’s better. Who cares about my T-shot on hole 16 here? That whatever that was was way more entertaining. Oh boy. Oh boy. I like the distance on this one. Already in the water. Got to love it. Wow. There. That’s a shot right there, buddy. Boom. Check. It’s a shot. Yeah. Too bad we can’t see it if it went in. Okay. So, it’s either off the back or in. Probably off the back. Yeah, probably. It just missed the pin from 200 out. That’d be wild, too, though. Mere inches. It rolls off the back. I’m looking before, though. Oh, come on. Keep trickling down that hump. Come on, baby. She want to trickle anymore. Darn it. Of course, the only slow green. Oh, minutes slide by. Look at that. That’s what I was worried about. All right. Five. Three. Banged it from there. Hole 17. Short par4. Line drive, but a way uphill elevated green from about 110. I stick one to about 10 feet. Oh, good one, Nick. Let’s go. Well, you can’t see it on camera, but that is a brutal hill. The lactic acid build up. Come on, buddy. You can do it. It was only like a 45% grade. Oh, my head is swimming at this point. I can barely see straight and breathe to be able to hit this putt. Oh, it didn’t break right. Oh, for sure it would. Just trying to make it to the finish line. Four. Four. Four. I’m going to throw up. Never thrown it before. Let me get it on camera. Yeah. Got a little dry heave in there. No fakes. That was real. Got another ball. 18 the home stretch. And I am gassed. Oh man. Uphill in the wind. Holy moly. I need the golf cart back. Yeah. You got this. Oh, what was that? What was that? [Music] Just tap it in. Six. That’s all she wrote. Dude, how you feel after this? Weeds. I’m a feel like a golf game. 39 years. I’ve never thrown up after a run. I might throw up. That was I was doing all right till 17 that hill. That hill got me. He did it. He survived. I cried a little bit. [Laughter] He was like, “Stop stopping it and going.” It messes up the clips. It’s like Yeah. Yeah. You just keep it going the whole time. Bailey does. All right. Yeah. The last guy out. Oh, no. No. for the the uh uh barefooted Nick Evans sometimes, but not today. Nick Evans was in first place. So, here you go, Nick. I shot 88 in 53 minutes 14 seconds. First place. This is my first ever first place. There you go. Get him reach. All right. Fantastic. Go over there. I know. It’s your first time. This is my first island out of state auditorium. And Nick, first winner, first time, and he’s a happy man. That’s right. I just want to put the invitation out there for anybody that you just got to keep going for it. Nick’s been doing this for a few years. I know. And he uh came to me one day and said, “Hey, what’s the what are you doing out here?” I said, “Well, I’m doing speak golf. You got to join me.” So, I got him into it and he’s like seriously hooked and uh he just loves the sport and I’m so glad that you know today was the final day for him to just come forth, break through and uh come in first place. So, congratulations, Nick. It’s been a lot of fun to be with you and we’ll see what the future holds. You continue to get more first place, man. Thanks. Well, thank you for playing through me that that 42° day. Nobody else is out on the golf course and you snuck up behind us. Hey, can I play through? There’s a long-haired guy carrying his bag. Okay, I’m interested. Well, that’s what happens. Then I can’t look back. So speed golf is just so super exciting, man. I mean, you get golf done, you can be back and enjoy the rest of the day. And we had a whole tournament within like an hour and a half, two hours. It’s not going to mess up any kind of course play. People pay their fees. Uh it’s just a super way to play golf. Be healthy, be strong, and just to continue to go forward. So thanks for all your work again, Dick, on this stuff. Thank you. All right, man. Happy day. Speed golf, baby. Let’s go.
