There were some posts and some photographs that came out of Oakmont um that made it their way on through social media. Is there anything you’d like to comment on or make any statements on with regard to to some of that stuff in the locker room? Yeah, I mean, you know, I’ve I’ve had a lot of highs and lows in my career, especially this year, some lows, and you know, I made a mistake that I deeply regret, and I’m very sorry for what happened. Um, but I’d also like to move on, not only for myself, but for Oakmont, for the USGAA, and kind of focus on the rest of this year and things that come up. I still want to try to make the RDER Cup team. I still I’m on the outside looking in for the FedEx Cup, and I um, you know, so I’m I’m starting to move on and focus on those things. What do you feel like you did? All right. All right. All right.

  1. An entitled idiot who has no sorrow for his actions at all!! Should remain looking in for the rest of the season – by serving a ban with a very large fine!

  2. Very simple, ban him from Oakmont permananetly and move on like he said. What a dirtball

  3. Highly important to ban from the tournament to save the integrity of the sports from future followers

  4. Hey Wyndham.. you do know that there has to be a punishment, right? You can't go thru life and be that kind of guy, and expect the world to play along like it is no big deal.

  6. agreed. shouldn’t be allowed to step foot at oakmont again! trash somebodies shit because u suck and played bad? yeah not cool

  7. Lol at the armchair professionals.

Anyone who has never committed to anything, put their all into it, spent years trying to achieve it, put themselves repeatedly in the pressure cooker, gained it all and then lost it has absolutely no grounds to comment.

    Hush now.

  8. Bloke doesn’t deserve ANY respect considering his constant temper. Destroying the property at Oakmont was utterly disgusting – hopefully got banned, and hopefully he’s not considered for Ryder Cup. Guy is a just an arrogant tosser.

  9. A lot of hateful comments here. Everybody makes mistakes. He lost his mother not too long ago and it was devastating for him. I'm sure he's still feeling the pain from that and sometimes emotions get the better of you.

  10. If he was a real professional, he would be paying for what he did, donating money, taking anger management therapy (more than one instance of this behavior), and maybe self-imposing a suspension. That's what a real professional would do, so he'll never do it.

  11. PGA have no stomach when it comes to exerting standards and discipline. He should be seriously dealt with as it’s not the first time – what a role model !!!

  12. Mistake ???? That's something you rub out with an eraser. I hope Oakmont send you a large repair bill or report you to the police for vandalism .

  13. 5 secs.of rage, years to rethink it! Kinda like the world we live in. There is a line between being," competitive," and an idiot, in all sports! He crossed over to the latter. I'm not sure on the actions needed, however, he should not question any decision on this matter. A tremendous talent, I pick him in my pool, time will give him the chance to regain respect lost. Character judgment takes years to build, secs. to destroy!!

  14. Ryder Cup Team??? You must be joking and what a slap in the face to all class acts who have ever played the game!! He is a loaded cannon and not representative of how this game should be played nor can he ever be an example to youth. Honestly with all that talent and skill set, it is a shame. How can a professional care so little for his identity to not fix his temper? There needs to be some parameter that must not be ignored or we gamble with more of the same! His behavior cannot be condoned!!!
