President Donald Trump was out and about golfing on Saturday, debunking bizarre online trends that included people questioning if the president died.

Photos circulating on social media showed him smiling with his granddaughter, Kai, on the White House lawn before he made his way to a Virginia golf course.

Trump was sporting his signature “Make America Great Again” hat and wearing a white polo shirt with black slacks. He was giving a thumbs-up in one image, while video showed him shaking hands with supporters.

The public appearance occurred after the hashtags #Trump Is Dead” and “#Where Is Trump?” trended on X Friday and Saturday.

According to PEOPLE, the rumors seemingly stemmed from comments Vice President JD Vance made during an interview. Vance recently spoke about being prepared to step up if Trump died or suddenly fell ill.

Yes, terrible tragedies happen. But I feel very confident the President of the United States is in good shape, is going to serve out the remainder of his term and do great things for the American people,” Vance said during a recent interview with USA Today. And if, God forbid, there’s a terrible tragedy, I can’t think of better on-the-job training than what I’ve gotten over the last 200 days,” the vice president added.

Vance also told the media outlet Trump is in “incredibly good health” and has “incredible energy.”

It didn’t apparently stop people from speculating about Trump’s overall well-being. Some wondered why he hadn’t made any publica appearances since Tuesday, which was he held a cabinet meeting.

“Despite the silence on whether he is dead or not, I will continue to like every tweet that says DONALD TRUMP IS DEAD,” one person wrote.

Several others claimed they give out money every time someone liked their post about Trump’s alleged death.

“If “TRUMP IS DEAD” i will give 500 dollars to everyone who likes this tweet,” according to one post.

Others said “Democrats are thinking wishfully,” adding that a similar hoax “happened once before, back when he got COVID and they thought he would die from a disease with a 99% survival rate.”

Trump is the oldest person to have been sworn in as U.S. president, as he was 78 years old when he began his second term in office in January. He celebrated his 79th birthday June 14.

The news comes as former President Bill Clinton sparked renewed concerns about his health after he and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were reportedly seen leaving a New York airport with an object that appeared to be a portable defibrillator.

Photos first obtained by The Daily Mail showed the couple moments after they got off a plane in the Hamptons on Thursday.

Several media outlets, including The New York Post, noted that the device looked like a Propaq MD Air Medical Bag, which is a compact defibrillator.

The sighting comes about two months after the former president was seen stumbling on a sidewalk outside the 92NY, a cultural center in New York.

The incidents have led to speculation about his well-being, although no official statement has been released regarding his health status.

Clinton has suffered serious health issues for more than 20 years. The 79-year-old previously underwent a quadruple bypass and has been hospitalized several times.

In July, both he and Hillary were subpoenaed to testify before the House Oversight Committee in connection to the Jeffrey Epstein case.

While the former president is set to testify on October 14, his wife is scheduled to testify on October 9.
