This is the big one. Just a few short weeks ago, I treated myself on the Callaway certified pre-owned website to a full set of pre-owned Callaway clubs. We’ve put these clubs through their paces. We’ve tested them for numbers. We’ve tested them at a former Ryder Cup venue, and today I’m putting them through their paces here on the incredibly difficult Back Noo Park Golf. We’re going to talk money, we’re going to talk pros, we’re going to talk cons, we’re going to talk everything that I’ve loved about this series. so far and maybe a few things that I haven’t loved so far as well. Guys, if you want to check out the Callaway certified pre-owned website, it is in the link in the description below. But for now, let’s get this bag filled up cuz I thought having this box in introduction was going to be a fantastic idea, but turns out it hasn’t been. Guys, if you’re new here, welcome. Please make sure you do consider hitting that subscribe button below and joining. Lots of new subscribers that we are finding on the channel. So, thank you very much everyone for that. But for now, I’m going to make sure that these are all in the right order because there’s one thing I hate. It’s a golf bag that’s in the wrong order. But for what we’ve saved buying from the Callaway pre-own website, you could buy yourself golf lessons. You could spend money on green fees. You could buy even more golf clubs from the website. You could even put it towards your membership. I think what we’ve saved here would pretty much cover a membership for a year here at Woolly Park Golf Club because you’ve you’ve bought kind of pre-owned. And if you get them kind of as new or like new because there’s a grading system on the caliper website like these have literally come I’m gonna say brand new. They’ve literally come like new which um is a really really nice way of doing things because I don’t I don’t necessarily always want kind of beaten and battered secondhand clubs and Callaway don’t really do that. They have four different options. They have average, they have better than average, they have good and they have like new. So you can kind of grade it on how much you want to spend. So, so if you’ve seen part of this series already, really hope you’ve enjoyed it. I’ll talk you through some of the clubs today if you are brand new to this, but you might want to go and check it out because like I said, there’s some really good videos driverwise. Paradigm AI smoke triple diamond 10 and 1/2 degree with a Denali 6.0 shaft. I stand by that some of the older Callaway drivers are absolutely phenomenal. So, I got this and Chris got the Rogue STL LS that I still think is one of the best drivers money can buy and he got it for like 160 quid. But I have got a three iron which might come in really handy today cuz it’s looking a little bit burnt out up there, isn’t it, Bob? I’ll do you want to shall I I’ll get it. I’ll get it. Right. Um that’s gone really really well, hasn’t it? Bang smack in the middle of the fairway. Now, the reason why I’ve kept this challenge until last in this series is because this back nine always has my number. It gets more difficult as it goes on. Holes 16, 17, and 18 are quite frankly painful. They’re lovely holes, but they’re very, very difficult. So, let’s try and build a bit of a score up. Then, let’s see what we can hang on to. Look at this here. Bob, I was going to say it’s flying, but it’s obviously flying. But, it’s traveling. That is it. Chris coming back off his holiday in his private helicopter. It’s wedging enough. Thought I go nine wedge. Firm and bouncy, isn’t it? I’ll be good. Be as good as you look. That’s the bounce we wanted, Bob. That might go in. Go on then. Yeah, absolutely buzzing. The irons we went for, me and Chris actually went for exactly the same. So, some Callaway Apex Pros, lovely hollow body design, forge features on there. It’s the Forge 24 and we’ve got dynamic gold shafts in there. Now again, I think if you are looking for the latest and greatest technology, there’s always going to be something newer out there, unless you’re that guy who changes designs every year, which I don’t think that’s really an option for most people anymore. So, finding something that looks that good, feels that good, and performs that well for again, it’s still not cheap, but it’s still more affordable than brand new, I think it’s a great option for most people. This could be a birdie on the first, Bob. It could be a birdie on the first. Right. Putterwise, we’ve gone for a little number seven versa number. Had this as a young assistant pro, a young thinner assistant pro I say as well. Um and put really well. So I just thought go back to it. It’s not the OG. It’s just kind of white hot insert which was a lovely insert for Odyssey. Right. This is going right to left. You couldn’t leave yourself a better birdie put on this opening hole on the back n Phil Mickelson. Come on. Full horseshoe. What a way to start the day. I say start the day. My day start at 3:00 a.m. with a screaming 2-year-old. But here we are, coffeeed up and ready to go. Right, we’re going to take advantage of this because the guys are doing some maintenance on the tea there. So, all three tea boxes are here. So, it’s playing 130. We’ve got that same pitching wedge in. And this couldn’t have gone better as a start. Just a nice soft wedge, Bob. I’ve pulled it a bit, but if it’s the right distance. Yeah, that’s okay. It was a touch pulley. And if from further back, you get away with that. It does kick in. But from further forward, obviously, it’s just going to land and stop. 25 ft. Well, if you are new to the series, I’d love to show you the wedges, but hopefully we won’t have to because we’re going to keep hitting greens in regulation. That flag’s actually a lot further back than what I thought it was. Ah, yeah. Where’s your um pitch repair, Bob? Joker T one. Bob spent $20 on a brand new pitch motor pair and lost it three holes in. Maybe Kenny will send you another one. Big left or right line. You can’t leave it low. Always miss it. Pro side. That is a shame, but it’s a par. We’ll move on. So, a couple of things that I really, really enjoyed going through this Callaway certified premium website. First of all, so you may have seen that Chris actually got himself a left-handed wedge. Now, he did use that to quite some avail, but he didn’t mean to. So, there is a 15-day where you can kind of get your money back and I do think that he would probably he has done he sent it back. Um, but also I feel like it became so quickly and at the moment if you’re buying golf clubs online, sometimes they do take a long time to come, but it came like pretty much two days later. Right, Bob? Do I go three-wood, three iron or driver? because this is the hardest T- shot on the course for me. Three wood, Bob spoken. Um, three plus as well like 13 and a half degrees. So, I can really just pummel it down there and get it moving over right to left, which would be lovely. And again, you look at the clubs I’ve got. So, this is the Paradigm Triple D. It’s not the AI smoke. It’s kind of the original, the OG Paradigm. Can’t believe I’m saying that. I remember being at the Paradigm launch in LA. That feels like yesterday. And now it’s not. It’s two years ago. two nearly three years ago. Anyway, um yeah, so there are still there are some like really modern current clubs that aren’t really current. They’re a couple of generations old, which like I said, unless you’re that guy who has to have the latest and greatest, just some unreal bargains to be had. Can we draw this? What a shot that is, by the way. That’s absolutely knuckle bald. I love I love golf, but I know I’m saving a bit of money. And yeah, you could go cheap. You could go and buy like all sorts of rubbish, couldn’t you? But the fact that it’s not gone through like a an eBay or a a secondhand website where they kind of just buy anything. It is a certified Callaway thing. So, you’re still buying from them. You still get Callaway’s warranty and things like that. I can’t believe that’s Mr. Fairway. We’ve just mentioned, haven’t we, this is like the tightest fairway in the world, but this is like a nicer place to be. And imagine me putting you in the shade so you’re not in the sun. Thinking about you all the time. We hit wedge again. You almost can’t leave the short in an old divot. But I think I think it’s dry enough. See how low that’s come out of the divot. Is that going to sit? Oh, it’s took a lovely bounce. Oh, another one. This could be like four feet. Stay there. Stay there. Stay. Oh, it’s just gone down the slope a bit. It’s still going. It’s 30 ft. It’s as good as we could have done really. That was like Well, it probably visually looked closer at some point, but it looked like it was going to be better. It’s a miss green. It’s quite a difficult put that. This is going to bank off massively, isn’t it? I mean, that’s a filthy par, isn’t it? I’m absolutely buzzing. Buzzing that it’s not raining. It could be. Buzzing that I’m not tired cuz I should be. And buzzing that we’re under par and it’s going to stay that way. Right, driver? You got my IT peg. Bob, you left it. Put it on your finger. No, I’ll use a broken one then. It’s okay. Not a problem. Driver, another difficult hole and then a par five. Are you sure you not got it? This isn’t the one I gave you. It’s not I don’t think it is. Um, and then par five coming up. So, ideally get out of here with a par. Dirty the par five. We’ve got a few to play with on those really difficult last few holes. Wind off left, so it might just want to fade a little bit. Oh, that’s more than fading. I mean, it’s okay, but it’s a long way back. I’m going to blame TGate, though. Wasn’t it wasn’t wasn’t in the right head space. I thought it’d be further up than this, but it’s not. You took great joy in telling me that was at the base of that tree, didn’t you? Seven iron. We’re going nowhere near this flag, are we? Don’t move. I can move that. I don’t think I can move that. Can I? No, that’s going to move it. The twigs stay in there, Bob. Punch seven left hand side of the green. Or do I just aim to miss it right? Cuz it’s an easier chip from the right, isn’t it? But then that’s going to bring the bunker in if it draws. Or hear me out. Big high towering one that pitches just over the bunker and releases out to a foot. I mean, you don’t sound amazingly convinced by that. Oh, my flat swing plane’s not going to like this, is it? This is where I find out that when I practice when I’m here and really I swing like that. Oh, don’t go in there. That’s like the one place I absolutely shouldn’t have gone. So, we can talk wedges now. Positive. Right, we’ve got two Opus wedges. Didn’t go for the Opus Premium. Just went for the opus. Do I go 60 here? Yeah, 60. Splash splash it out. And again, like these are like these were released last year. Great set of clubs. It’s going to go right to left in it. It lands in the air. I thought that was spectacular. On the ground, I’ve got 10 ft of path. This isn’t what we wanted. This is going to be absolutely rapid. This ball’s absolutely battered after hitting that tree as well. Replace that. Do we go flag in or flag out? Is that on the lean? It’s on the lean to the high side, isn’t it? Slow. That is such a tame mediocre putt. Double would have been an absolute disaster. Just have to ver now, right? But we’ll go fresh, I think, because we don’t want you going yellow marks on them. Probably don’t affect performance, but quite offputting, right? I’m going to go 3-wood because I feel like if if the te’s right at the back on the championship tee then that’s a driver’s a shot. But I think here it’s three a bit more off trying to take the corner on. Downwind isn’t it like that? That is position A. Can it get better than that Bob? It can. Right. Interesting one. Par five. I think I’m going to go with nine iron even though it’s like 180 yards because they do go quite a long way these. And if it it’s right back flag there though there, isn’t it? So I try and play the yardage the greens are holding, but if if not it’s downwind and bouncy. I think I think nine’s the play. You’re hard nine. I’ve pulled it though. Don’t go in another bunker. Oh, that’s over the bunker, is it? I think that’s skipped the bunker. I think that’s back left side. The club was perfect. I think it’s actually landed in the bunker now that this goes in and all’s forgiven. You know, I’m going to take that cuz I doued it. And that’s why if you are ordering pre-owned, get a club with plenty of bounce on it. If you duff them like I do, it works okay. If anything, we’ve been underreading puts. I’d say that’s right edge. So, I’m going to go going to go just outside right cuz we missed a couple low. [Music] At this point, am I just pulling them? P. One over, four to play, and probably three of the hardest holes on the golf course to play. It’s not over. Big dog. Lake on the left, bunker on the right. Carry the lot. Away we go. This wind’s perfect for this hole, isn’t it? Is that past it? It’s got to be past it, it [Music] right, that shortens it. Oh, look at that. First time in a long time. It’s center of the face. That’s miles up there, Bob, isn’t it? I must admit with the driver, like whenever I was testing these two years ago, I was always in a nine and a half degree. I think I was a better golfer then, which is quite worrying because this is my job. But uh I’m I’ve become a dad since then. So if anyone’s become a dad in the last two years, you’ll realize it’s not good for your golf. No matter if it’s your job or not, unless you’re Danny Willlet, who won the Masters the week his son was born, which I haven’t got a kid and I’m So what’s my excuse? You’ve got a lot on Bob. That’s all I’m going to say. Right. 100 yard. I’ve got 54 flag right at the back cuz these holes the funny the hard T- shots more than hard holes. You get the T- shots away and you’re all right generally. Nice low flighted one like that. That should just kick that way as well. Yeah. And that’s in the shadow. So that’s a chance cuz the flag’s in the shadow and it’s not a big shadow. Not like the ones I leave. Huge shadows. Was too low. Released out too much. That’s annoying. Just another downhill left to right side winder, Bob. Cuz why wouldn’t you leave yourself then? Going to have a look from the other side cuz I’m just not sure. Yeah. Come on. No excuses. Now in it’s low again. Pace was really good. But that is such a defensive put when you’re one over par. What did you say? What happened when you birded the first? It all goes to we’re going three iron because I think three wouldn’t drive too much because if you leak it right, you’re absolutely dead, aren’t you here? It’s 420 yards, but it’s downhill and it’s running. That’ll do. Funny thing is, you know, with this three iron, I got it. So, I think I’ll save money on the budget and I don’t need a hybrid or like a fivewood or a sevenwood. But really, I’d be better off with a hybrid or a fivewood or a sevenwood. I think so. It’s done okay that. But I think for this time of year, it’s good if you’re buying a full set for like all times of year. Nobody needs a three anymore, do they? Not really. Hit three. I ain’t hit the fairway. in the rough. Uh 150. Yeah, must admit. So, like with the numbers on these clubs as well, like really impressed with performance. Sure is going to be because they’re not they’re not old clubs, are they? Just because a new set’s come out doesn’t all of a sudden make these invalid and obsolete. And I’m a huge believer in that anyway when it comes to golf equipment. I think I can hit this just left of it and it kind of comes in a bit like there. Now take that kick. It hasn’t taken that kick. I’m not even bothered about that one because I did exactly how I wanted it. It’s just not done what I thought it would do. The distance was perfect. Accuracy not. So I’m thinking if the flag is in the middle, it takes that kick. I never going to kick from here to there. [Music] It wasn’t duffy like the last one. Actually struck it too well. Right, this is a must make. Bob, the wind’s up. It’s getting more difficult. [Music] I had it locked in ready to fist bump. [Music] That nearly missed. This is the T-shot that I’ve been dreading. Although there’s no water in the pond. Actually, it’s a nice cut off the 150 marker. It’s not cut. It’s absolutely fine. It’s in the middle of where the lake would normally be. I feel like I played that to my advantage a little bit. I’ve ripped that though again. It’s actually cannoned straight through where the water would be. And it’s sat all right, isn’t it? Uh, I’m going to go wedge. Yeah. Wedge. It’s going to come out hot from here, isn’t it? Out of the roof. Come on. Birdie birdie finish. Is a back flag, though, so we can be aggressive. Oh, be good. Be good. Be good. That was for you, Bob. one. Go get there. Played that to an absolute tea. We knew it was going to run out. We knew it was going to hook a little bit. T-Irds. What do you mean? Uh, I think I’ve like seen snips of it. I’ve never actually watched it. Grease Lightning. It went on Netflix. Off? Why would it go off? Right. I’ve got this right edge, but I’ve missed them all low, haven’t I? Is it pace that’s been pace hasn’t? Pace has been all right, hasn’t it? Get in. This was the one hole I was absolutely petrified about. And we’ve just made it look like Bobby at pre-drinks soft. I’ll ignore Bobby’s full rendition of grease lightning he’s just given us there on the on the way to this tea box. You all right, Bob? You’re editing this one, aren’t you? Birdie this and I’m going to say it’s it’s victory. Something’s bit me on my ankle, though. Look at that. It’s a fresh one that isn’t it? Right from children’s socks on, I suppose. All right, that’s the shot that I hit loads with this club when it was in the bag. And look where it was from, but it just goes out like an absolute brilliant golf club. One more good shot. 160 front flag. He’s eight ate too much or he’s at eight perfect with the wind. Yeah, this wind’s quite strong is it actually should draw off the lie. Left left side of the front right bunker start line. It’s got to come in. That’s one of the best shots I’ve hit in a long time. That That was really good. Exactly what we wanted. Just didn’t didn’t draw much off the line, did it? I think the distance is good. Be the world’s hardest put. We either make it or we make double. At this point, have you put that flag there? I’ve gone from thinking I’m going to make birdie to make double. Come on. Positive mental attitude. If you told me 30 seconds ago I had 10 ft for one over par, I wouldn’t have took it. That’s such a difficult put. You’ve got to be here, haven’t you? Having know where that flag is now. It’s n ir from back there, not eight iron. What’s that? [Music] That is in the jaws and it’s a tour of a part back n here at Woolly Park Golf Club with my Callaway certified pre-owned set. Guys, if you’ve enjoyed that, please do hit that subscribe button below. Throw a like on this video and let us know, could you see yourself purchasing some golf clubs from that pre-owned website? I’ve really, really enjoyed it. It’s been a tough battle out here today and I’ve loved every second of it. I can’t believe I’ve left that short. But apart from that, we’ll see you all at the same time tomorrow. I’ve left it short again. Bye.

What ? No temu? You got Callaway, can’t wait to see if they are as good as your temu driver 😂😂😂😂
I would like to know what you do with all the clubs you have.
I’ve used the Callaway used site. The site is difficult to navigate and very slow and unresponsive. Great products at reasonable prices.
I love your value for money quest James, AND I too got splinter from a broken tee!
Are you not supporting Golf clubs for cash anymore
Bob’s your uncle!
Gotta say I like these reviews of clubs you can get cheaper with a great name and proven irons but can still perform with the newer ones
Nice one james ♥️🏌♂️⛳️
Golf club set ups do not get much better looking than that set up 🔥
Here's an idea, what is the difference between a like new driver and a average driver on the website
The one thing that befuddles me is that you never have a golf tee in your pocket, they are basically free at all courses…Keep those clubs they are sweet
Should definitely try and do this with other brands ping, cobra etc.
Can you do “the best 9 fairway wood “ evaluation?
