Speculation over President Donald Trump’s whereabouts reached fever pitch this week after unfounded rumors of his death circulated widely across social media.
Hashtags such as “Trump is Dead,” “Trump Died,” and “Donald Trump death” trended globally on August 30, fueling confusion and sparking wild online debates.
The speculation intensified as the president had not been seen in public for several days, leading to a flood of false claims about his health. But on Saturday morning, those rumors were put to rest when Trump was spotted leaving the White House for a golf outing.
At 8:45 a.m. ET, the president’s motorcade departed the South Lawn, with Trump dressed in a golf outfit and wearing his signature red “Make America Great Again” hat. He was joined by his granddaughter Kai, as cameras captured the pair heading toward their vehicle.
According to media pool reports, Trump spent his Saturday morning golfing at the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, accompanied by two of his grandchildren — 18-year-old Kai and 12-year-old Spencer.
The outing comes as Americans head into the Labor Day weekend, with Trump choosing to spend the holiday morning in his familiar setting on the golf course — while putting to rest, quite literally, the latest wave of viral rumors about his death.
