Tom McKibben rejects Rory Maroyy’s advice, excels in live golf debut. Belfast golfer Tom McKibben has made a strong statement in his first year on the Live Golf Tour, ignoring Rory Maroyy’s advice to join the PGA Tour. McKibben opted for the Saudi backed circuit in January, prioritizing new opportunities over traditional paths. He played a key role in John Ram’s Legion 13, winning the team championship in Michigan, defeating Bryson Dashambo’s crushers in a dramatic playoff. The victory earned the team £14 million with McKibben receiving 1.4 million, taking his season earnings to around £7.3 million, ending the season 20th in the individual live rankings, McKibben praised the experience of playing with Rahm and Tier Hatton, noting that teamwork and exposure to challenging courses improved his game.
