Keegan Bradley has officially announced his 2025 Ryder Cup captain’s picks, and the golf world is in shock. Just moments after the announcement, we’ve got your full breakdown — the video is already live.

🇺🇸 Bradley’s Picks:

Justin Thomas

Collin Morikawa

Ben Griffin

Cam Young

Patrick Cantlay

Sam Burns

But here’s the real shocker: Keegan Bradley did NOT pick himself.
This would’ve made him the first U.S. player-captain since Arnold Palmer in 1963 — and instead, he passed. Why? What does it mean for Team USA? And did he just cost us the Cup — or prove he’s the most selfless leader in golf?

It is official. Keegan Bradley, Captain America of the Rder Cup team, has made his captain’s picks, and here’s who we have. His first choice went to Justin Thomas. He’s a veteran of the RDER Cup team. I think it’s a great choice. Next, he went to Colin Marawa. Again, returning player. I think he’s going to be good for the team, although a lot of people weren’t sure if he was going to make his way in. Third choice was Ben Griffin. Bringing in a little bit of young blood, first Rder Cup, but the guy is playing out of his mind right now, and I think he belongs on the team. Pick number four, Cam Young. Again, found himself his first win on the PGA Tour, but the guy has been playing fantastic golf for a long time, and I think he’s going to be awesome for the team, but I wasn’t quite as shocked over him as I was this next pick. Pick number five, Patrick Can. A lot of people didn’t think he was going to make the team. All this controversy over his speed of play, lot going on this last weekend, kind of slowing down Tommy Fleetwood’s win. Maybe it was strategy. Maybe he knew he was going to make the team and he was trying to throw the guy off a little bit. I don’t know. I could respect the gameplay. And last but not least, Keegan Bradley’s sixth pick didn’t go to himself. It went to Sam Burns to come back for his second RDER Cup. Here’s what I’ll tell you. I love Sam Burns. I’m so glad he got picked for the team. But the fact that we don’t have our first player captain in 60 years since Arnold Palmer is heartbreaking. I thought this was going to be a special unique Ryder Cup like we have never seen in our lifetimes unless you’re super duper old. But we don’t get that. Did Keegan fall on the sword here? Did he make the right decision? Or does this guy’s passion, his energy for the Rder Cup, does it belong on the team? Should he be out there on the course? In my opinion, that is what I wanted. That’s what I wanted to see today. I wanted to see Keegan Bradley save it to the end and announce himself last, build a little bit of drama, and we didn’t get that. But he says that his job for this entire event, he was asked to be captain and that’s his number one priority. For somebody who wants to play on the team more than anybody to not pick himself, I guess to me proves that he cares about this team more than anything. The fact that he’s not allowing himself to play in the single most important event of in his opinion, in his life, I guess means he wants his win more than anyone.
