Fleetwood’s Close Calls LEAD TO SWEET VICTORY

Get in the hole. That is headed way right and disaster for Fleetwood. A disappointing bogey finish when he needed a birdie there to force a playoff. A mega disappointment for Tommy. He played really well this week and he had his chances. He’s going to come up short again in his bid to win. He’ll be hugely disappointed by this one. Good pace. Are you serious? Oh my goodness. Glorious. Tommy can only smile. Um, it wasn’t my time. Uh, it was Nick. This to be no worse than in a playoff. Oh my goodness. [Applause] [Music] A Keegan comeback not to be believed. It hurts. You know, the most stupid thing to do and the worst thing to do would be make a week like this a hindrance to what you do going forwards. I think this is for 61 putts in a row. Terrible putt. And he’s going to come up short again. That’s going to continue to weigh on him. Ben, all these experiences, you know, and these close calls, there’s there’s no point in allowing them to have a negative effect on what happens next. I have to find the strength to make it all a positive experience and and hopefully next time, you know, go again, put myself in that position again. And then we just go again. I think it would be pretty funny if I won this week and then had the FedEx Cup as well. And here’s the crowd. A little reminiscent of Tiger back in 2018. The way these fans have pulled Tommy through all these rough moments, all these close calls. They want to get a ringside seat to see him finally do it. The agonizing wait is over. Fleetwood finally for everything. The FedEx Cup title. I’m just so happy that I got it done and happy with my work ethic and um I’ll continue to try and get better and try and be the best that I can be. Can you feel the energy around you? Yeah, they’re amazing. It makes me a bit emotional, but um always so lucky with the support that I get. I said, you know, this last month or so, the buzz that’s been around me when I’ve been in contention has been amazing. And to get the support um like that is just it’s just so special. And I never want to lose that. I hope everybody knows how grateful I am for it and I said I said we’ll do it together and um I felt like we did today. So I’m really happy for me and for everybody that’s supported me through all of this. Warm it up so we’re open.
