Good Good Golf, one of the fastest-growing names in the game, is set to host its latest marquee competition: the King of the Mountain, presented by Mountain Dew. This highly anticipated event brings together Good Good’s creators, collaborators like Paige Spiranic, and fans for a high-energy day of golf unlike anything else on the calendar.
Eight teams of players will compete in a three-hole knockout with a $100,000 prize pool – as well as $50,000 donation for the winning team to a charitable organization of their choosing. As with previous Good Good events, King of the Mountain promises a blend of competitive golf, lighthearted entertainment, and the kind of audience engagement that has helped the brand cultivate millions of followers.
The Venue: Kemper Lakes Golf Club
Hosting King of the Mountain is Kemper Lakes Golf Club, in Kildeer, which just hosted the Illinois Open. Kemper Lakes is no stranger to championship moments. The course has hosted numerous professional and elite amateur tournaments, including the 1989 PGA Championship won by Payne Stewart and the 2018 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
Opened in 1979, Kemper Lakes is renowned for its challenging layout, strategic bunkering, and dramatic finishing holes that wind around a series of lakes. The closing stretch — particularly the par-4 17th and par-4 18th — has earned a reputation as one of the most demanding finishes in Midwest golf. With pristine conditions and a championship pedigree, Kemper Lakes provides the perfect stage for Good Good’s unique brand of competition.

Good Good Meets Championship Tradition
The pairing of Good Good Golf’s vibrant community and the historic grounds of Kemper Lakes creates a fascinating blend of modern golf culture and timeless tradition. Fans can expect plenty of unforgettable moments as creators push their games in a setting where legends have been made.
Good Good Golf was founded in 2020 by a group of young creators who shared a passion for golf, competition, and entertainment. Built on YouTube and social media, the brand quickly gained traction by producing high-quality, engaging videos that showcased both their golf skills and their personalities. Their content blends traditional matches, challenges, trick shots, and collaborations with professional golfers, making the game approachable for new audiences while keeping long-time fans entertained.
As their following grew into the millions, Good Good expanded beyond video into merchandise, events, and partnerships with major brands. Known for its stylish apparel drops and unique competitive formats, the company has become a cultural touchstone for younger golfers. Good Good’s mission has always been about more than just golf—it’s about building community and making the game fun and accessible. Today, the brand is recognized as one of the most influential voices in modern golf media, inspiring a new generation of players to pick up the game.
