Mini Mayhem. Chelsea Dodson, 33 years old from Albuquerque, New Mexico. The mother of three, a sugar cookie baker, and of course the wife of former UFC fighter John Dodson. She was a late replacement. She was actually in Albuquerque. She was coming here to watch. She got the call and she flew in Wednesday night. Missed weight by one lb. She had to drop 8 lbs. But the fact that she’s here on just a couple of days notice is very impressive. This is one time when you see somebody miss weight and you’re like it’s okay. She got the call yesterday. When was it yesterday? The day before. Wednesday. She got a call. She picked up and they said are you busy tomorrow? She said, “Let’s do it.” She She kind of takes pride in that kind of being that cowboy cerrone anytime, any place, anywhere type of person for the power slap. And you look in her debut in Power Slap, she went to a draw against superstar Paige Vanzant. Lost her last match, but she feel like she hasn’t really been able to show her best. She’s hoping to get that done tonight with nice dance moves as well on stage. Went to the judges scorecards against Nicole Desi here last time out. [Music] Colleen Peta MSAS. They call her PETA for pain in the ass. And that’s why Ronda Rousey is in the house. They have been judo teammates for a long, long time. Her original fight was supposed to be at 115. Her opponent dropped out. Now fighting Chelsea Dodson at 125. She said she already made weight and she feels like this opponent actually is going to be her little a little tougher and her main focus is not balance. She had three fouls in her power slap debut in December and lost via disqualification to Jamie Hash. Yeah. And you know, she had a little secret that after we interviewed her, she didn’t tell us even though I was walking away and she came and grabbed me by the door. Hey, but you know what? By the way, tomorrow, which is today, it’s my birthday. It’s her birthday today. She kept it a secret. She hasn’t said much about it. Apparently, she’s turning 38 years old today. She’s super excited to be able to perform on her birthday. But I mean, having Ronda Rousey in the crowd, I mean, everybody knows how much Ronda Rousey has done for the sport of MMA in judo as well. To have her come down the power slap, sit in the front row, just to see you fight on the prelims, it’s got to be very motivating to to have someone like that supporting you in your corner. She was given that name when she was just a youngster by her father. And this is going to be a fun one as Colleen MSAS is the coin toss winner, meaning that she will strike first. Both of these ladies very, very tough. And MSAS is put together. I’ll tell you that much as we take a look at the tail of the tape. The center of the hand right in the center of the cheek and you can see the impact from it. You guys good time. Let’s take a listen. This slap was just a gunshot. It literally It sounded like a gunshot. Great impact right there. Okay. And there you have Chelsea Dodson watching her own replay. And now she gets a chance to even the score here. And you can barely even move the jawline on Paulina Mia. She’s so strong. The neck, the traps, the back. She can’t move her off the spot. That’s a great point cuz they’re not punching forward like you would down the middle in an MMA fight or a boxing match. You can see the blood upon impact. The nose was sideways. You see the bone right there. And again, fouls coming into play for Pauline MSA. She’s so strong. She’s so talented. That was yet she is on the cusp here of losing her second straight match because of a foul. Rhonda doesn’t know what she Rhonda doesn’t know what she got herself into. I know, right? It wasn’t too deep. So Paulie Msas is just kind of registering with her now that she’s going to lose this because of a foul. So that would drop her power slap record to 0 and2. But I’m telling you, once she gets this straightened out, she will be a force to be reckoned with. This would be Chelsea Dodson’s first power slap win. Obviously not the way that she wanted it, but I feel like we just haven’t seen the the best Chelsea Dodson yet. You showed how tough she was in this match. Broken nose. She’s going to get the DQ win.
