COEUR d’ALENE — Junior Bode Eacret carded a season-best 4-over-par 76 as the Sandpoint boys finished tied for fifth out of seven scoring teams at the Lake City Invite held Thursday at the Coeur d’Alene Public Golf Club.
Eacret’s score was good enough for a tied-for-fourth-place finish amongst the 35-golfer field. Senior Logan Roos shot a 79, senior Cooper Zimmerman an 89, and senior Micah Young a 90 to round out Sandpoint’s scorers on the day.
On the girls side, Grace Loutzenhiser shot a season-best 103 while Hannah Majors followed with a 111, Ella Mahlum a 114, and Aspen Little-Torrez a 117 as the Lady Bulldogs finished seventh out of seven scoring teams.
Sandpoint will take to the greens again on Monday, Sept. 8 when they head to the University of Idaho Golf Course for the Moscow Invite.
