Not 100% yet but just hit my first few balls with the BLP into my outdoor net. Came out great! Had all this material around from building my shed and put it to use and saved a lot of money on a regular mat. Was worried how it would feel with plywood right underneath the turf but it’s really comfortable. Missed a few steps here I added more blocking on the two sides so the plywood wouldn’t flex as much. Used Lowe’s Synputt turf and it stretched really well around the corners. Only downside it how heavy this thing is. Going to add cart wheels so I can roll it when taking out putting away. Really happy how the beaver tail feels too. Thank you to everyone in the sub who helped me. Helped me not spend so much time on research and you all know the best products and deals!

It looks awesome! I was wondering how you were going to move all of that wood :-). Post pics of the wheels. I need ideas for mine 🙂

Looks great, I just ordered my beaver tail this week and plan to make something similar.

I don’t think I could hit a driver. Need most of a 5’ mat and I haven’t figured out why!

Put wheels alongside one edge/side, add handles to the other side ; could de a recessed cut out on the wood itself so it blends in better and doesn’t create a trip hazard when getting on or off

Maybe I’m wrong, and is possibly an optical illusion, but it looks pretty small?
