I’ve had it for about a year and it’s been making this noise recently. Anything I should be worried about?

It’s likely some broken epoxy in the head. You should be able to take the wrench, remove the shaft and dump whatever it is out of the hole in the hosel. Pretty sure the Mavs have an open hosel.
try hitting a diff one and see if the numbers are significantly different?
