Did you know that you can test the conditions of the bunker if you go to a separate bunker that your ball is not in? So if two green side bunkers are next to each other and not connected, and your ball is in one of those, you can go into the other bunker, ground your club and even take a practice swing in it with NO PENALTY. 🤯
I like the new rule. This rule was changed to stop the TV posse from calling in when they saw a pro settle in for a bunker shot and disturb ONE GRAIN OF SAND on the backswing. No way the pro felt the grain of sand. It was seen on hi def slow mo camera. Then called in by some Karen watching TV. (Anna Nordqvist incident)
Let's just get a robot to play for us! Golf is supposed to be a SERIOUS sport. You SPEND TIME LEARNING ON THE RANGE…and then apply that learning on the course. It's a progression, not an I SHOULD BE ABLE TO HIT EVERY SHOT EVERY TIME! If not…find another HOBBY!!! Coach 'M'

I like the rule.. You shouldn't have to hover your sand wedge to hit it.. just not improve your lie if you slightly ground it..
