In recognition of the upcoming Ryder Cup, Legoland Windsor has offered a round of adventure golf to guests who share a namesake with the Team Europe players.
A lucky 150 visitors with the same surname as one of the team will have the chance to put their skills to the test for free at the theme park’s Lego inspired golf course.
The Ryder Cup, which tees off in late September, pits top golfers from Europe and the United States against each other in a transatlantic battle played out on the green.
Legoland Windsor Resort vice president Ramesh Ganeson said: “There’s a whole lot of fun taking place at Legoland Adventure Golf ahead of one of the world’s greatest sporting events.
“So, if you share a surname with one of the Team Europe players, bring your family, friends and tee-rific skills and putt with Pirates, swing into Space or take your best shot in our Medieval village – each of our four mini golf courses guarantees family fun no matter the age”.
Walk-in guests at Legoland Windsor Resort sharing the surname with the 12 2025 Team Europe players have a chance to claim a free round from August 25 to September 29.
The names are: McIlroy, MacIntyre, Fleetwood, Rose, Hojgaard, Hatton, Lowry, Straka, Aberg, Hovland, Fitzpatrick, and Rahm.
To be eligible, guests will have to check in at the Legoland Windsor desk and show valid proof of ID. Free passes are limited to four per family.
