One jump. 25 meters deep. 30 meters wide.
A moment that changes everything.

On October 18, 2024, @Vinny_T_ makes freeride history: with a drop you only do once in a lifetime. Pushing Into the Unknown is more than just a bike film – it’s a cinematic portrait of courage, doubt and absolute trust in your own feelings

In the Swiss Alps, he attempted the highest and longest drop ever made on a mountain bike: 25 meters deep, 31.3 meters across.
This short film captures the raw build-up, the fear, the silence before the drop – and the moment there’s no turning back.

  1. That was so close 😭 Maybe he could have made it if the tire hadn't burst. I'm not sure. Impressive nonetheless 🤩 Josh Bender is proud, I think, and that's all that matters 🤘
A slightly steeper landing, a little less speed, and he would have definitely made it.

  2. VT is not who I expected to do something like this. Nice job. 🤘 Obviously not steep enough, even if you heel toe it perfectly I doubt it would work, but 30 degrees steeper & yeah it will. The outcome is the most surprising, only the front tire blew up & not the whole wagon wheel, pretty smooth ejection, someone's gonna see this & know it's not a death sentence & just a bit steeper will get it done. Robbie Madison Arc de Triomphe. It's just geometry.

  3. Après vu comme le gars est solide si ça se trouve c'est la terre qui a eu des bleus là où il a frappé le sol.

  4. Mate, thats was full on balls, the guts to let it go and roll off that is fucking insane, but raised purely in the belief in your ability and years and years of practiced talent.

    Mad respect mate!

  6. sorry people but you are BSing and fanciing here. building landing like this Vinny makes it actualy easier than like Bender did it. overshooting would be easier because of lenght and angle of landing. if Bender overshoots its the end thats the reason he did from zero speed straight to jump. Vinny is used to jumps with speed so he just should know minimum speed needed to clear it. dissapinted that we will probably never see somebody to clear something like jaw drop. and question like if human body is able and bla bla bla, just look at motorbikes jumps – https://www.youtube.com/shorts/UJB0KXJl1nM Its like pleague that every body everyvhere must build something. doing it fancy so plebs will like it. its not trail if it has no builded parts on it especialy wooden constructions. do you people even like nature as it is?

  7. Bravo vincent quel exploit tu nous a fait vibrer freeride jusqu'au bout et un grand bravo a la realisation de ce saut sans chapper no ride

  8. Everyone says reception should be steeper but if the recep is even more steep any speed error has much more dramatic consequences. Really i think it's more about building a bigger rig, like bender in the days and strength training. I think a MX would have swollen it. A mtb would need suspension in the 300mm and big overinflated DH casing tyre.
