The Frontier golf team kicked off its season on a high note on Tuesday.
Taking on Southwick at Edgewood Country Club, Jacob Cornelison was the match medalist after carding a 34, leading Frontier to a 151-178 victory.
Brady Wood shot a 38, Addy Wood finished with a score of 40 while Jamie McCarthy carded a 49 to round out the scorers for the Redhawks.

Teresa Varner took first with a score of 43 in a Women’s League Par Four Only contest at Country Club of Greenfield Tuesday.
Susan O’Connor took second (51) while Barb Killeen (39) and Jane Smith (41) carded the low net scores.
Julie Bailey finished with the low gross in the Second Flight (53) while Lane Kelly carded the low net (45). In the 9 Hole Flight Michele Hazlett, Susan Ruggeri and Ellen Bitzer tied for first (30). Christine Kuzmeskus (23) and Dianne Wood (25) had the low net scores.
Also at CCG on Tuesday, Ann McHugh (30), Lisa Sullivan (34) and Diane Carme (34) led the way in the Patty Berg Flight during a Best 7 Holes contest in the 9 Hole Women’s League.
Ellen Bitzer (34), Karen Duclos (36) and Linda Lively (36) led the Nancy Lopez Flight, Betty Graves (35), Elaine Mount (36) and Karen Zerneri (36) topped the Joanna Carner Flight, Mary McNally (34) and Sandy Ruggeri (35) finished atop the Lorena Ochoa Flight, Wanda Pyfrom (36) and Kim French (40) led the Annika Sorenstom Flight while Kasey Hebert (34), Brenda Dedinas (36) and Jayne Sullivan (36) led the Michelle Wie Flight.
Montague Elks tourney
The Montague Elks Charity Golf Tournament is scheduled for September 5 at Thomas Memorial, with the tournament still seeking sponsorships for holes.
