In July, the White House responded to the bruising on Trump’s hand. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt clarified that it resulted from regular handshakes.
“Recent photos of the president have shown minor bruising on the back of his hand. This is consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking… The president remains in excellent health,” the White House stated.

This follows Trump’s confirmation of his intentions to attend this year’s Ryder Cup. Trump, a known golf enthusiast, typically fits in one or two rounds each weekend.
Yet, it remains unclear how he plans to maintain this routine given his hand condition. Despite apparent health issues, those who have witnessed him on the golf course are impressed by his abilities. Trump himself frequently boasts about his current records.
Recent data indicates that Trump has dedicated approximately 20% of his presidency to golf since resuming office on January 20, demonstrating his ongoing love for the sport.
