We have all been frustrated by an errant drive, but please find another way to express your displeasure. A 3W found my head after it got tangled in a glove and went sideways while being thrown in anger
Waiting on the radiology report in the ER. Let's do better.

Is that a shamwow
Please say you got the contact info for the golfer that threw that
Tell us the legal matters
Did he hit his own head?
You need better aim and technique when throwing your club. You’re not supposed to hit yourself with it…. Just throwing that out there…. The phrase not the club….
You get to keep the club if it’s thrown at you
But were you playing fast enough or not?
(Jokes aside, this sucks bro.)
I’m confused did you hit yourself in the head with your own club?
Imagine the shame of the asshole club thrower. Hope you’re OK and the results come back clean, OP
You should be mad at one specific guy, this is not a “let’s all be better” situation.
Jesus christ that’s rough. I would have broken that shit in half.
Friend or stranger?
Ive never understood the throwing or breaking of clubs
Lawsuit baby. Should settle
Quic.
I have literally unstrapped my bag from a cart and golfed Solo after a buddy threw a club twice in a round (after I told him to stop throwing infantile hissy fits after the first club toss). No room for that bullshit IMO. Hope you didn’t pick up a concussion or need to many stitches man.
Did you stomp on him with those massive calves?
When you chucked your club into your own skull, did you yell, “BANG!!!”
Wait did you throw the club? I have only ever heard of someone hurting themselves throwing clubs, either by destroying clubs, or it bounces off something and hits them… otherwise it seems like it would be an assault charge, since, while wildly hit balls are a gray area, clubs thrown are a definite lawsuit you wouldn’t want to share public evidence of…
I love this dude is like, let’s do better, even though it’s mostly just him and a select few dipshits acting this way.
I ain’t got time to bleed
My uncle almost died a few years ago because he got caught in the neck by a thrown putter in anger
I’ve stopped playing with club throwers, full stop…. Grow up, people. You’re not good enough to be mad at anything that happens on the course.
OP definitely bonked himself lol
Sometimes, you just have to let go of the bad juju
OP isn’t responding to anyone…hope he’s not in a coma.
Shouldn’t of been standing there
Club throwers are c#$ts and always the most trash players on the course. If it was someone you regularly play with, I wouldn’t play with the AH again. If it was a rando, I hope you got their info so they pay for your hospital bills. Fuck that guy.
We don’t need to do shi
Dodge it next time
How to feel like a right idiot. What did the fellow say? Is he a friend, aquatint, or stranger?
I think he should be your butler for a year.
Hope you are alright without any lasting injury.
A wise man once told me, “you’re not good enough to be mad at that shot.”
Geez op, im sorry. A good day of golf ruined by a petulant child’s inability to control their emotions. Is there anything that can be done to hold that guy accountable?
This is why I only skull my 60 degree.
Damn sorry that happened man. I was on a golf trip with 2 buddies so we had a random 4th. The random was teeing off and we were standing behind him. He hit a bad shot and just let go of his club on the backswing. Luckily he didn’t throw it hard, but it hit one of my buddies. Not enough to cause an injury but we weren’t happy with the guy. He ended up buying all of us beers after the round, it shouldn’t have happened at all though.
Club throwing/ breaking of clubs is one of the biggest LDE things you can do on a course
You throw a club and I’ll never play with you again.
Many Thanksgivings ago, back when I was in high school, I was out playing golf with my buddies. We were goofing off behind the family group: my dad, grandpa, and uncles. It was about 32°F, beautiful golf day.
We got to hole #9, and my friend shanked his drive something awful. He tried to hurl his driver down the fairway. He was wearing two pairs of WinterSof gloves, and instead of letting the club fly, it stuck in his hands just long enough to redirect… straight at me.
I was standing even with the tee box, about 15 feet behind him. Next thing I knew, the club nailed me right in the chin.
At first, I just laughed. It was so cold I didn’t even feel it. I thought, “Well, that was dumb.” Then I heard the rainfall of blood landing on my chest. Looked up, and all my buddies were frozen, wide-eyed. They later told me they saw my chin split open all the way to the bone.
In a flash of rage, I snapped my driver over my buddies leg. He left for boot camp the next week and said the bruise was a hit among the drill sergeants.
Covered in blood, I rolled up to my dad, grandpa, and uncles on the 9th green, looking like I’d taken an axe to the face.
I just said, “Dad, we’ve gotta go to the hospital again.”
Off to the ER we went, another set of stitches.
Yup, keep the club in your hands y’all.
That could be a gross negligence lawsuit against the guy who threw it.
You’ll be fine, bud.
I wish I could go back in time and tell myself to not throw clubs or throw fits. So many great times wasted because I thought I was gonna be tiger woods.
Can’t wait for the “I got paired with a guy who almost killed himself trying to throw a 3-wood” post
Dude’s so bad he hooked his club throw 😂
This post was meant for me…… thanks! I will do better
“you shouldn’t have been standing there”
I threw a club today! Sue me!
Buddy of mine chunked an iron out of the rough on #2. Snapped the club in half over his knee and tomahawked the halves at a nearby tree…slicing his own hand open as the fractured steel was released.
Skies immediately opened up on us for the remainder of the round while he held his bloody hand above his head wrapped in a dirty golf rag. Torrential downpour. Hilarious
Best quote I heard many years ago “you’re not good enough to be that mad”
Was this your friend or a random?
It’s hard for me to comprehend how easily some people lose their shit. And why those people expect to be good at golf.
I have never thrown a club. But, one day I was really frustrated because the wheels were definitely coming off. I hit another bad tee shot and reached down and angrily picked up my tee and threw it in anger towards the cart. I pegged my friend right in the eye. Turned out a small splinter of wood stuck in his cornea. Four hours at urgent care and he had to wear a patch for a week. Learned my lesson.
