Just watched video with you gifting your dad with clubs. I mentioned before that I learned to play at DYC in early 70s. Heâs still sporting the mustache a bit grayer though. He gave me nickname Toad, probably because I was a pain in the arseâŠ.any glad to see that. Maybe get to Fla. and can trade old storiesâŠ.the GTO still running? Keep up the excellent content

Love my gaping so far and got my handicap down below 10 for first time in a few years.

The challenge for you is that you are constantly trying out new equipment, often times leading you to question your own bag set up. Definitely, a challenge of your profession!

Hey Gabe, just started watching your channel this year from Alberta Canada. My current set up is the Cobra DS max driver, Cobra DS x 5-7 woods, srixon zxi4 4-P, and my wedges are the Cleveland CBX4 50,54,58. and I'm currently going with a 38" jailbird versa AI cruiser. the longer putter has helped me on the greens big time.
I'm 60 in a few months and today is the day I've taken out my 5 iron and added in PXG black ops 4 and 5 hybrid instead. I've had them a while maybe 6 months or more but I just didn't want to admit I don't have the swing speed ect for the 5 iron any more, im literally getting the same distance with 5 iron as I am with 6 iron. To be fair I enjoyed the few shots I had with the hybrids and they are now filling the gap the 5 iron used too. I'm guessing they are in to stay. Time waits for no golfer, the saying goes….or it does now anyway lol. My driver swing speed has dropped to 95-97, my driver shaft is right between stiff and regular. My PXG fitter said he would like to put me in a stiff shaft for the front 9 and regular for the back 9 as stiffness and fatigue kick in as the round progresses. In fact I'm getting almost as good numbers and far better consistency with my mini driver. I'll change whatever i need too in the bag within reason to be able to keep playing. To be fair I've dropped 7 strokes so far this year from 26 to 19, with my pre season goal of 18 within touching distance.
Switched to Spider tourX for this year and putting has been good ever since. I wanted to buy Spider ZT, but couldnât justify the price. Will be switching irons and driver next year. Tested Ping i530s with graphite shafts and G440 max as driver. Loved them both so they are on the list.
Howdy Gabe, quick question. I started playing Sim2 Max irons when you gamed them a few years ago. What would be the major difference between Sim2 Max and Srixon xi4 Irons. My swing speed around 80 to 85. Always enjoy your content. God Bless

That's the next set I want, Srixon combo set. I want the ultra forgiving long irons but controlled shorter irons.
Callaway Elyte X 10.5 Blue Velocore 6X, Elyte 5W and 7W, Ping G430 4H, Takomo 101 5-PW (Takomo 301 CB set coming in this week) 50°, 54°, and 58° Vokey wedges that my dad handed down to me (need to buy new wedges), and a cheap Wilson Windy City Infinite blade putter. Need to switch back to a mallet since my putting is all over the place.

Always enjoy your reviews especially WITB, great irons and wedges if I could ask you to review some other clubs that are close to yours on your own I would try the Callaway Elyte triple diamond max with an Aretera, shaft (or you can use your shaft) much better feeling head a game changer for me made me get rid of my ping g430 10K driver like you. Also I changed my ping g430 fairway woods to the Callaway Elyte titanium fairway woods with the Aretera shafts so easy to hit and has the pop your looking for with great feel. I would also try the RTZ tour rack 58 degree without the full face adapt feature. Much better feel off the face without the nasty rust to clean up. Also try the 2025 Srixon zstar diamond much better ball than last year and has won 3 majors.
Lefty- SIM Max driver. Rogue ST MAX 3 wood. G430 3 hybrid. Paradym ai smoke HL 4 hyrbid 23 degrees. 6-PW, AW Elyte HL irons (love these!) Cleveland 52, 56 Zipcore 6 wedges, ai one two ball db putter. Considering a ZT putter. Also considering a mini driver.

Full set of Mizuno MP-32's in my bag. Triple Diamond Max driver and an AI Max 5 wood. RTZ 52 and CBX2 48 degree gap wedge. 38 inch Oddysey jailbird cruiser putter has been incredibly accurate for me. I'm a mid handicapper, but the mizuno blades are very consistent…and I got them very cheap. Good video Gabe.

First year playing golf somewhat regularly in 27 years, basically since high school. I put together a set of mostly lightly used stuff. Srixon Z545 irons 5-PW with 85 gram stiff Miyazaki shafts, Cleveland CBX2 wedges, Mizuno M-Craft VI putter, Mizuno JPX 923 Fli-Hi 4 hybrid, Titleist 917F2 3 wood with an Attas Punch 6 shaft and a 2020 OnOff(Daiwa) AKA driver with their upgraded Labospec Shinari shaft. So far it's working pretty well for me, I just need more time playing to get more consistent with my swing.
