Jack McDonnell fired a bogey free six under 64 to retain the Seamus Campbell Senior Scratch Cup at Sutton.

He won by a shot from St Anne’s Matthew Dodd and by three strokes from Corrstown’s Luke Branigan as Bruno Lupo led the home challenge with a 70.

Sunny conditions and a light breeze made for ideal scoring conditions for an event renamed in honour of the late Seamus Campbell, who passed away in January.

Seamus’ family were present on the day to present the prizes.
