  1. And thats why to me darts and golf isnt really a sport. Its your skill vs my skill. But you dont need to be athletic to do it.

  2. Don't care what any one says, ain't nobody ever gonna achieve what Phil Taylor achieved in world darts, they won't even come remotely close

  3. I’d like to ask a legend of master for advice—if someone is suffering from dartitis, how can they overcome it?

Right now, I can no longer throw darts as easily and effortlessly as "cutting through butter with a knife." It feels more like I'm holding a 15-kilogram dumbbell—my arm just can't release the dart.

I want to rely solely on my thumb and index finger to grip the dart and release it with force, but every time I try, I freeze up. I end up trying to use my wrist to throw instead. (I’m right-handed, and I always feel like I'm trying to generate power from the right side of my right wrist when I throw.)

At this point, throwing even one dart leaves me drenched in sweat. It feels like an incredibly difficult task.

I honestly feel like I’m sick. Maybe it’s a mental block, something like a demon in my mind. Because whenever there’s a target in front of me—whenever I want to aim at it, visualize hitting it, or focus on hitting the bullseye—my wrist instinctively tenses up. My arm starts pulling further and further back, as if trying to rely on arm strength to throw the dart… but I just can’t do it.

Right now, it takes me over a minute just to throw a single dart, and I still can't finish the throw properly.

  4. Okay this is some good advice. Ima golfer who’s just getting into darts, been playing golf now for about 11 years seriously. I know all of the golf legend could someone tell me all the dart legends remember I’m new to this scene who’s the best to watch ?

  5. Can vouch for the muscle memory, i've been throwing for about 2 years. Hit a single 180 in the first year and i've hit 9 more since. Frustratingly i've still not hit one when i'm playing a leg against someone, but i'm way more consistently hitting 60+ in a visit now and finding more trebles. Anyone got any advice for a left hander at the 19 segment? Because it's my absolute least favourite target, i keep drifting into the 3 wedge. Don't have this problem anywhere else

  6. Best player ever and such a lovely personality and genuine.
He hasn't let fame change him.
    God bless you, Phil Taylor
