COLUMBUS, Georgia — The Haskins Foundation announced the ANNIKA Award Preseason Watch List presented by Stifel on Monday. Texas women’s golfers Farah O’Keefe and Lauren Kim landed on the 25-player watch list. 

O’Keefe and Kim, who both earned placement on the 10-player postseason watch list near the end of the 2024-25 season earned Second Team All-America honors from the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) and Golfweek. 

O’Keefe is currently ranked No. 7 on the World Amateur Golf Rankings. O’Keefe, who finished T36 at the U.S. Women’s Open and runner-up at the British Amateur Championship, finished runner-up at the SEC Championship with a score of 5-under-par and finished runner-up at the NCAA Lubbbock Regional. O’Keefe recorded eight top-10 finishes for the 2024-25 season and six top-five finishes. In addition to her collegiate team events, O’Keefe finished 10th place at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur. 

Kim, who is ranked No. 16 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, finished T14 at the NCAA Championship. Kim was T5 at the SEC Championship and has tallied six top-five finishes on the season. Kim earned medalist honors at the Betsy Rawls Invitational this season, her second win of her collegiate career. 

Created in 2014, the ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel is annually given to the top female Division 1 collegiate golfer; the winner voted on by players, coaches and members of the college golf media. Named for Annika Sorenstam, the award was created in partnership with the Haskins Foundation to acknowledge the top female golfer and to match the Haskins Award presented by Stifel, which acknowledges the top male Division I collegiate golfer. Mirabel Ting (Florida State) became the 12th ANNIKA Award winner in 2025.

The Longhorns open the 2025 fall schedule at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate, Sept. 8-10 in Lake Elmo, Minnesota.
