I did JM press today for the first time.. And boy did my WHOLE tricep feel pumped, lateral, medial, long head all felt full, ended up just doing 2 sets of cable extensions at the end and it was enough.
Yh I rely on bench and push ups for my triceps icl 😂😂 I do 4-6 skullcrusher sets a week asw which is sick for the long head. My biceps are good I do chin ups once a week and curls/hammer twice a week
3 years into PPL I switched biceps and triceps so I hit biceps with push and triceps with pull, and I broke past a massive plateau and grew a lot this year.
So i run a upper/lower/rest/push/pull/legs/rest and i think it is pretty balanced between fun and muscle gain, also recently Jeff Nippard made a video about how he tried a new way of training for a whole year and he actually used this split! But the thing is i’am a big overthinker and exercise selection isn’t my thing because i keep thinking about "what if" this exercise is better than this one and what if i change this and so on and so forth so that makes it a hell harder to select exercises and sets.
Nick Walker runs Push pull legs off upper lower off. its actually pretty fun too. i train arms first in those workouts and i find it doesn't impact my other movements almost at all.

I do ppl(a%s) . The a&s stands for arms and shoulders
I'm doing PPL but i do back with triceps and chest with biceps so that my arm still get hit well
I don't do ppl, at the moment, for work related reasons. I can confirm, ppl is the best split for me

Upper lower with arms currently. I really like it. I hit all the main muscles and then my arms (weak point)
Source: was a PPL guy for a long time
LPP is the way to go. Gives my legs a break since I do deadlifts on back day.
You could just train triceps first on push and biceps first on pull if you really want to prioritize them

We just not gonna mention the skull crushers💀

it also depends on the exercises you do on those days. Or how intense they are. You can't judge a programm by the split alone
185 skullcrushers 😱

Do you think switching biceps and triceps in push and pull days is a good idea?

Girls be going BBL. Butt, butt, legs
arm days have no reason to exist, they ruin your recovery timings especially if they are lacking
my current program push – pull – leg and arm
