In the July issue of Golf Tips magazine, Sean O’Hair’s swing was analyzed. The breakdown highlights two key elements to focus on:

Shoulder Angle – His shoulders move up and down on a steep angle during the backswing and maintain that angle as the arms and club return in the downswing. This steep angle is critical because it keeps the club and arms on the correct plane.

Right Arm and Elbow Position – During the downswing, O’Hair’s right elbow and right hip stay very close together. This creates a strong leverage point for the club, helping it stay on the proper swing path and generating more power.

At impact, O’Hair’s arms extend fully as his body turns through to the finish.

Key Tip for Golfers:
To improve driving, keep your shoulders on the same angle as they move down and keep the right elbow close to your body. This helps you strike the ball both hard and consistently.
