The 2025 PGA Tour FedEx Cup bonus pool purse was a total of $100 million, paid out in three different stages for the first time.
In 2025, the format changed, with bonus money paid at three stages: at the end of the regular season, at the end of the BMW Championship and at the end of the Tour Championship.
All told, $43 million of the total pool was paid out before the PGA Tour gets to East Lake in Atlanta. The top 10 players in standings at the end of the regular season earned bonus money from a $20 million pool, including $10 million to the winner of the regular season (Scottie Scheffler). This money is separate from the Comcast Business Tour Top 10, which paid out a $40 million bonus pool this year to that same top 10.
Then, after the BMW Championship, all 30 players who qualified for the Tour Championship were paid from a pool of $22,930,000 in bonus money. The FedEx Cup points leader at that time (Scottie Scheffler) earned $5 million.

The Tour Championship was a stand-alone tournament for the top 30 players in the FedEx Cup standings after the BMW Championship. The tournament had a $40 million purse of official money, paid out to 30 players who qualify. The winner (Tommy Fleetwood) got $10 million.
As the season ends at the Tour Championship, players who finished 31st through 150th in the points standings earn a share of $17,080,000 million in bonus money that will be paid out as deferred compensation into their retirement fund.
The top 150 players in the final standings are paid part of the $100 million bonus pool, based on the points standings at the conclusion of the Tour Championship, played at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Ga. Where players finish when they’re knocked out of the season (either by not qualifying for the playoffs or in the playoffs themselves) is their finishing position.
