Hi everyone, I golf casually(few times a year, just for fun) but recently wanted improve my game. I have lessons booked next week but wanted some feedback here. Any input is appreciated!
Watching myself I think I dip up and down on my downswing. Am I swinging too much with my arms and not transferring my weight/rotating hips fast enough? I also know I lift my front heel and it's because my hip flexibility just… Sucks lol.

Don’t suck
It’s going to feel weird and unintuitive for a long time, just trust the coach and if your swing feels like it’s getting worse at first, trust the process.
My tip: when the coach gives you drills to practice, do them. Drilling can be boring. I create games out of my drills to make them more exciting, like if I’m working on face control I try to hit 1, 2 and 3 degrees open/closed. I give myself a point when I can get within a quarter degree of my number and minus a point if I’m over half a degree off. How many points can I get in 20 balls?
