Golf tourism’s newest showpiece, Elevate Golf, is joining forces with the Links Network this October for a special networking event celebrating the achievements of women across the golf industry.

More than 120 women will come together for an event designed to foster conversation and connection across all sectors of the golf industry. The day will feature a panel discussion led by Sky Sports presenter and Elevate ambassador Di Stewart, exploring the evolving role of women in golf – from leadership and representation to access, opportunity and equity – while celebrating the achievements of those driving meaningful change.

Hosted at Fairmont St Andrews on Wednesday, October 29, the afternoon is designed to provide space for open conversation around shared challenges and progress made, while also creating new professional connections.

Leanne Thorpe, director of Elevate Golf, said: “Our ambition with Elevate has always been to connect the industry in a more meaningful way and that includes ensuring space is created for important conversations like this. Women are playing an increasingly influential role in shaping the future of the game, both on and off the course. This event is about recognising that, supporting one another and continuing the momentum.”

Rachel Broere, co-founder of The Links Network, added: “It’s incredibly encouraging to see an event like Elevate not only welcome but prioritise initiatives like this. By creating a platform for discussion, we hope to inspire collaboration, celebrate success and address some of the persistent challenges that still exist for women in the golf industry today.”

Elevate Golf, which brings together the world’s finest golf courses and tour operators, returns to St Andrews this year for its second edition. The six-day event (October 26-31) includes curated networking opportunities, business meetings and world-class golf across some of the UK’s most celebrated venues.
