Donald Trump has made an unusual proposal to remodel the parks in Washington DC, aiming to make them resemble his golf courses.

Trump, a keen golfer who has often spent time on the greens during his presidency, has several golf courses to his name. The 79-year-old also boasts about his golfing skills, recently celebrating a tournament victory on his Truth Social platform before supporters urged him to release the Epstein Files.

Given his love for golf and knowledge of different types of grass, Trump revealed his plan to re-grass the parks, aiming to mimic his Trump National Golf Club. He shared this idea while speaking to police officers before accompanying them on a patrol.

“I’m very good at grass because I have a lot of golf courses all over the place,” Trump suggested. “I know more about grass than any human being, I think, anywhere in the world. And we’re going to be re-grassing all your parks, all brand new sprinkler systems, the best that you can buy.”.

“It’ll look like, more importantly, Trump National Golf Club. That’s even better.”

The president also mentioned that grass is a living entity and the greenery around Washington, D.C. needs rejuvenation, particularly since it has been four decades since the grass was last revitalized.

He concluded: “We’re going to have all brand new, beautiful grass. You know, like everything else, grass has a life. Do you know that? Grass has a life. We have a life and grass has a life.

“And the grass here died about 40 years ago — So we’re going to be rebuilding all of your parks and it’s going to happen fast. It’s going to go up like a miracle. … You do the job on safety and I’ll get this place fixed up physically.”

It seems every aspect of golf holds particular significance for the president, as he frequently takes breaks from his schedule to boast about his skills on the course.

DON’T MISS

Back in July, Trump celebrated his Member-Member victory at Trump National Bedminster on his Truth Social platform.

In his triumphant post, he declared: “In between meetings and phone calls, it was a Great Honor to win the Member-Member Championship, at Trump National, Bedminster (Gross, no strokes), with Tommy Urciuoli as my partner.

“The many other competitors were not only great Golfers, but also terrific people!” Yet, users on the platform were swift to criticize the president regarding his involvement in the release of the Epstein Files, or his failure to do so.

“WE WONT STOP DEMANDING THE EPSTEIN FILES! ! ! People need to be held accountable for their actions against children. Even if it means economic chaos from all the billionaires being locked up. Prove you’re not just as corrupt as every president or politician before you! Release the Epstein files or you are admitting to being just like all the rest of them,” one supporter commented.
